Being liked implies having a some sense of charisma, which, in a way, is connected to making yourself likeable and being liked. And with charm, well, you would be able to have a great amount of influence on a crowd or audience.
So, with that in mind, in some ways, being hated for how someone truly is like than being liked for what someone pretends to be can still have its disadvantages.

I don't like how SVTFOE basically did a cop-out by instating Eclipsa as the ruler of Mewni. The logical course of the show would have Star as the next ruler after Moon, but it just...didn't.

Eclipsa’s themes match her so well. Dark, powerful, but with an old world feel. Like they’ve been sealed in a crystal for 300 years and don’t belong where they’ve wound up. Fitting for the last true queen. They’re both haunting and beautiful, just like the Queen of Darkness.
It's so weird that we were told that Eclipsa was really evil, and when we meet her for the first time we were all scared. But now here we are, Eclipsa is one of the most favorite characters in SVTFOE

This show deserved a better ending and more seasons!
well the ending was good but it was rather rushed.
with the proper support last arc could have been its own season an ı would love to see it.

Eclipsa really ended up being the best character, along with her husband globgor. In the end the show writers really trashed most of the other characters or killed the others off, I just couldn't like star or moon after what they did, marco was just strung up on star, Tom got pushed aside.
In the end Eclipsa and her family were the only good thing left in this show.

Celestia Med Everyone is different and processes things differently, plus Eclipsa inadvertently caused moon to lose her memory and Moon already thought she was kinda sus.
Her butterfly version reminds me of a moth because of the fluffy antennas

It’s because in the original butterfly bloodline, their ultimate form resembled an moth , but since meteora was switched at birth and festivia took her place , the form change from being a moth to a butterfly

When Meteora was swaped with a peasant girl, AKA Festivia, that completely changed the bloodline of the Butterfly family, and entirely made a new one. Also, Festivia was part of pie-folk, so basically Festivia's bloodline was passed down onto the next queens which were Crescenta, Dirrhhenia, Rhina, Celena, Estrella, Comet, Moon, Star.

The "Conquer (Eclipsa vs Meteora)" part is powerful. Without the special sounds of magic, you can feel and hear how awful was Eclipsa and Meteora's fight on those music notes.

i really wanted to see a finale where 3 queens fight for mewni and well stars friends and the monsters and all that and also the whole idea of moon creating the warriors was a little uhm like it dosent really make sense but for the ending, it had to

The Mewman's were not ready for Eclipsa and that's why they hated her so much but all she wanted was a happy kingdom with Monster Mewman relationship and then that is happened but Moon became so much jealous and she ruined everything and it was the worst ending for a cartoon show.

I like imagining an alternate time line where she was never crystalized and her Grandmother Skywynne (and maybe even her uncle Jushtin) push for changes in butterfly kingdom and they work as a team in order to change their society for the better.

@@darkspaces5776 he had the wand in his possession for a VERY short amount of time. Shortly after he inherited the wand, his mother Skywynne found out that she was pregnant with a female (who are the first to have rights to the throne). So Skywynne had to confiscate the wand from him when she recieved the news.
Also, there's a chance the book could be posted somewhere and there are a few videos covering the magic book of spells. I bought mine for about 15 or 20 dollars from walmart about a year ago I think.

A lot of people in the comments are saying the ending was bad, and while it was a little rushed, I thought it was still really good. This show will always hold a special place in my heart
It was really good. I don't care what others say, I love the ending and season 4 is my favourite. The show is called Star vs the Forces of Evil and it took some time to realize that magic is actually the evil force.

I could feel the jumbled emotions when she said that to Moon when on the topic of her daughter.
She was more of a mother to Star than Moon could have ever been in my opinion.

Eclipsa was the last Queen of Mewni because she had a cornation. Moon didnt have another cornation. All Hail Eclipsa :) i 50/50 think magic should of stayed or atleast she should of stayed Queen even after the magic left. She is the best Queen.

@Chiharu Mukae Ecplisa and Moon should've united. Eclipsa cared so much about monsters (which is understable, her mother is Solaria after all) that she almost forgot about Mewmans. It was great that she gave Monsters their homes back, but she should've give something to Mewmans in return (she just made them homeless). Moon on the other hand, cared only about Mewmans, which was also understable, because Toffee killed her mother when she wanted to offer peace contract. Her scared was reasonable. Not to mention, she's also great warrior and knows strategy moves.
Together they could've unite Monsters and Mewmans, later on Star and Meteora may be princesses (and Queens) together. It would also be meaningful, that the "real" Butterflies accept the "fake" bloodline and still treat them as their family.

Eclipsa is my favorite character. While the other characters just got worse, she remained consistently amazing 💜🖤♠️✨
I actually wish she ended up being more of an antagonist. She was introduced as so ominous. And, I get that the message was to not judge a book by its cover and not just take other people's word for granted. But, I thought it would have been even more interesting if, after all the bonding she and Star did, something finally happened that Star and Eclipsa just could not agree on and then Star realizes that Eclipsa really is a toxic influence. Not like an actively evil character, but a foil to Star. Star's whole journey of growth was about maturing and accepting responsibility. Eclipsa could have stood as an example of what happens when you just refuse to ever make responsible decisions.

I wish they’d make a spin-off series or just a few more episodes showing what happened after everything and showing them as adults.

I loved Eclipsa the whole way through. She was epic as the mysterious Queen of Darkness, but became a wonderful character as we got to know her better.
She was always dark, concerning, silly and full of life, it was the popular opinion of right and wrong that decided she was dark and mysterious. She's the personification of wisdom and tolerance, something not everyone wanted at the time.

TBH I love Star with all my heart, but I only stuck around Season 4 for Eclipsa. She became my favorite character very quickly.

I think my favorite is star meets eclipsa, when I heard that one it was just constantly stuck in my mind and i had to listen to the full track. But all of her battle themes hit so powerful it gives me goosebumps
