some people said that i forgot "spell with no name/total annihilation spell". When i was making this video i only included the spells that eclipsa created. spell with no name is actually created by her mother solaria that is why i didn't include it :)

@@LMroid yes ! solaria was secretly working on it and didn't even write the poem of the spell to book of spells, she only shared with eclipsa
I just watched the whole SVTFoE series and just finished up the last episodes yesterday. The total annihilation spell was mentioned as being created by the mother as said by Eclipsa herself when she used it. She said she did not want to have to resort to her mother's spells when she was at war with the Indestructible Giant Warriors and Mina.
@@boneylockz3967 indiscriminately destroying isn't somethnig eclipsa does anyway, yes she made a spell to kill immortal beings but she was never ax-crazy like her mother
The spell that Moon used was technically Eclipsa's spell. But the Annihilation Spell was Solaria's as even though she did not complete it, the base of the spell was still there and Eclipsa just perfected the spell. Meaning to say that the Annihilation Spell IS rightfully Solaria's.

Ecplisa will always be underrated. Just because she was a "dark" queen. When inreality. No matter what. She still loved people. And it was shown with her daughter and star. How when star was in danger, she chose star over her daughter. Her daughter whom she hadnt seen in god knows how long. Her daughter, the one she had with the person she loves. She saved star. The person who saved her. The person who gave her another chance.

I saw it as this yes eclipsa's not evil but she was a bad leader at the time but however both sides messed up eclipsa should've stood up to her mother and the magical high commission saying "Hey I love this monster he's willing to change and you don't have to like it but I won't change my mind " also both eclipsa's mother and the magical high commission were very short sighted a wedding between eclipsa and globgore could've resolved everything and tooken down two of the major threats in Star vs the forces of evil Toffee and Metora and the magic wouldn't have been destroyed

I’m sorry but it’s so frustrating watching star call out eclipsa for her shady behavior when she herself is guilty of doing sketchy shit. like using eclipsa’s dark magic to spy on marco and jackie. granted it was back in season 2 and she could’ve learned from her mistake, but i don’t ever recall star bringing it up or telling marco or jackie the truth. don’t even get me started on her getting mad at tom for bringing up her and marco kissing.

@@Chivo317 what star said about eclipsa wasn’t wrong, yes i’ll give her that. what rubbed me the wrong way is that the show makes it seem like star has the moral high ground even though she has kept secrets and done sketchy things in the past, and on top of that she barely ever learned from her mistakes and always got what she wanted in the end. basically right message; wrong messenger.
I love how they implied that eclipsa was a dangerous individual but most of the spells that we saw her using were all used to subdue people

They really did a good job subverting the stereotypes of her character
@Midori is living in your walls on different words , even if Eclipsa is categorized as a bad witch because of her powers, she is breaking the stereotype, being the most moral, kind, and openminded person with such a strong character development!

At first Eclipsa is a mysterious character, thoughts people in the kingdom always say she's evil. But actually a good person has a mother's warm heart. She chose Star over her own daughter but lucky her daughter turns to a baby and she was given a chance to restart. Other than that, despite people hate her but Eclipsa on the other hand doesn't hate then. Instead she accepted them. Yes she did make mistakes but that's how she was. I love her my favorite queen butterfly to all butterfly families and to svtfoe characters.
The truly remarkable thing about Eclipsa is despite all the unimaginably unjustified wrongs that have been done to her and her family both past and present, she holds no grudges. Though I doubt anyone would blame her
Eclipsa is one of the most well-written characters I've ever seen! I love how they alway made us doubt if she was evil or not. It was until "Coronation" where it's pretty much a 100% confirmed she's not evil

Dark Magic is not truly Evil, it can just have some unusual side-effects, but it is still possible to wield it and remain Good, Eclipsa is proof of that in this series.

I do love Eclipsa.
To me, her being shrouded in mystery is partly why she was hated for so many years. No one saw the true Eclipsa (albeit a bit silly, courageous and still a bit morally grey) except Star. I kinda liked it when she was finally able to let loose a little…literally and figuratively.

Eclipsa can also do dark flame whips, she charges and builds her energy spell and slashes her wand in the air and shoots out flame slashes.

I love her cuz of her charismatic energy, she was fair as a ruler. And I’m not gone to get to deep into my own thinking, but it gives me interracial love vibes more than 100 percent.
Cuz besides lizard ppl monsters, other monsters were chill especially the rulers they ant want no smoke and had their own land. Until humans/ mewmans took the land cuz of clipsa mom being a bigot. But clipsa made sure who ever homes were taken had it rightfully back.

What frustrates me most about the magical part of Eclipsa is that very few of her spells were used by her???? like not even in war the spell book has an extensive part just of magic created by her and she used more in the series shots and waves of common magic a generic shield once, and flight
