Craggy Island, located somewhere off the coast of Ireland, is the setting for this critically acclaimed, award-winning comedy series. Father Ted, the responsible one of the bunch, is challenged with the difficult task of overseeing the simple-minded Father Dougal and the cranky, alcoholic Father Jack. Father Ted has his work cut out for him keeping himself and his colleagues out of trouble and rectifying the ridiculous situations they find themselves in, all-the-while avoiding the scornful eye of Bishop Brennan.

I'm an American. This comedy works for us; don't let those idiots from BuzzFeed fool you. I found it while looking at random videos on UA-cam. I've seen every episode numerous times and have them all downloaded. It's fucking hilarious. I got one of my friends into it and he loves it too. Sure, we miss some cultural references, but the comedy is bulletproof.

The only joke i honestly don't get is the "I dont believe it", Which I understand was a show from that period but thats about it. Simlair jokes happen with everything though. Like a few jokes in the simpsons
