Been a while since I've gotten around to watching one of your videos but I see what I've been missing. Good information, and as knowledgeable as ever. Love No Jacket Required! It's a pop masterwork and has an energy that builds, ebbs, and flows. It really has some of Phil's best singing, playing, and most realized emotions. So good to hear you discuss this album and to see your videos again!
I'm always a fan of his music when I hear it but I don't actively seek it out. I have recently started to listen to him more but I'll move this album up in the order.
I always been such a fan of PC/Genesis, NJR one of the best 80s album. Yes Phil, is the best drummer in the world, you can hear it in Tina Turner's 1986 "Typical Male" and "Easy Lover" with EWF's Philip Bailey(the other Phil) both became successful singles on the charts. The single Don't Lose My Number wasn't on his 1998 Hits collection, something that confused alot of PC fans. The music video for DLMN I thought that Billy was in the video, I don't know if that was true or not. But at the end of the day, "No Jacket Required" should require a jacket.

Thanks Heath. It’s good to see you in the comments section.
What a beautiful album! I wore out the cassette, bought the CD, and got the vinyl. Not a bad song on it. The non single tracks are best
It is fantastic!
Awesome video you should do one on peter gabriel
No Jacket Required is to Phil Collins as So is to Peter Gabriel
Phil Collins is my favorite drummer of all time. He was a BEAST with Genesis. Just listen to The Cinema Show or In That Quiet Earth, just mind blowing
Wow!! You’re right. That’s pretty intense stuff. It’s like Pink Floyd meets Rush. Great stuff!!

You won’t be sorry

Yes, Peter did sing on it. My first cassette had him in the credits!
Yes!! I just knew it. Thanks for letting me know.
