    Do you mostly play a standard scale bass? I’m coming from a background of playing guitar; I love the fact there are only 4 strings but some of the 5 fret stretches I find hard.

      I do play mostly standard scale basses. I've found that a lot of guitar-turned-bass players enjoy shorter scales, but as someone who grew up playing standard, I'm used to it :-)
