Josh asked me to build him a pedalboard that would powerful enough to cover all the bases for gigs and session work, as well as being portable enough to carry on a plane.
We used a Schmidt Array Pedalboard as well as TheGigRig G2 and Modular Power Supply.

I have only recently discovered Josh Smith but better late than never! Nice to see he has joined the Gig Rig family. Very cool to see him so excited about it!

Nice job Dan. Josh is one of the nicest guys around and a monster player. He's done a video about his battery-box. He's adamant about using batteries for drive pedals- right down to those specific batteries. That Tchula is the best sounding OD I've ever used.

That pedalboard is so nice and compact, yet holds many pedals. Great build with great pedals. The 9 volt battery section is also very clever with the automatic shutoff.

    Daniel,
As a very recent convert to The Gig Rig equipment (inspired by that pedal show), I'm blown away by the sounds I get now! And I only have a QMX10- with a full compliment of Gig Rig power adapters and the Generator. Someday I HAVE to upgrade to G2!
What I want to say is- thank you for helping the everyday guitarist sound miles better using your products. Your gear isn't just for the Joey Landreth, and Josh Smiths of the world (although we all appreciate you helping these geniuses sound that much better)! We can all achieve sounds that we never could before- utilizing your amazing products! Thank you, and keep the inspiration coming! Although you inspired me right into buying a "King of Tone" from Reverb, because I couldn't stand the wait any longer!!!!!!!!
    Cheers!

Make sure you are using NOS 9v batteries and that they are the exact brand that the pedal designer used when creating the circuit. Also make sure all of your patch cables are installed so that the electrons flow with the grain of the wire.

Daniel !, you knocked this build out of the park !!! I'm getting my coins together, cuz you got to do one for me . Josh is a great musician and I appreciate him letting us watch the evolution of his pedal boards . This is the third one I've seen from him in the last few years . I like this best For portability , lite weight, clean build with no compromise !
