This video was very informational about Wonyoung and despite having already liked her previously it made me respect her a lot more. She seems to be an insanely hard worker that it makes me sad and rather disgusted that so many antis contribute her success due to the fact that she's pretty. Everytime I hear someone hate on her it's pointing out that she's a lazy worker, she's only around for her looks, and so on but this video shows that she's been working really hard from a young age to the point she'd contniue working even through a bad injury. During ives first year you could she was gradually losing weight the more work she had with being mc for music bank, the touring, the brand deal work, etc. Then things slowed down during iam and she gained weight. To all those attributing Wony's success solely to her looks; In my opinion, the No.1 most gorgeous female idol active now is Karina of AESPA, and judging by how she too goes viral for her looks and performance skills and the immense amount of views on her fancams (which are way more than Wony's BTW) this isn't just my opinion but that of SEVERAL others. Sullyoon of NMIXX has also gone viral several times bcuz of her looks. Miyeon of Gidle is also very popular for her visuals and vocals (another aspect Wony isn't proficient in). Why is it then, that all these other visuals, even Karina, do not come close to Wony's level as an IT girl and overall idol? It's simple. It's becuz Wonys success has almost nothing to do with her looks but rather marketing and her own studious charm, elegance, stage presence, idol persona and insane work ethic. Think about it. Often times these irrelevant lists of female idols most popular amongst men go a little viral and Wony never cracks the top 5, if she's even on the list at all. I also saw another post of female idols most popular amongst queer women, and Wony wasn't even ON the list AT ALL. A lot of these lists are about looks and sex appeal and Wony is never high on them if she's even on there to begin with. And here y'all are saying it's due to her looks. Kpop is GLOBAL now. Wony's cute and fresh doll-like visuals are appealing to look at in general and aesthetic, but are NOT the most favored or even desirable on the much bigger market Kpop has stepped into. It's funny 'cause back then i was suuper jealous of her, but i still admired her to this day, it was more like inferiority rather than jealousy because i always was a fan of her and i have always wished her the best; I always wanted to be just like her, pretty, skinny, charming, attractive and rich, I was heavily bullied in school for my looks, i was always "the ugly girl", "the invisible girl to boys, the one no one wanted to be with, the boys humiliated me, called me names, pushed me down the stairs, made fun of me, and even insulted me in my face, the girls just ignored me or just pushed me aside making me feel inferior to them just because I wasn't pretty, attractive or cool enough, i was hard, anyway, I've always admired a lot kpop idols, like wonyoung for example, thinking "oh wow she's so pretty, why am i not pretty like her?" K-pop fans and k-netz really focus on appearances so it is only logical that idols with a pretty face will make headlines and will get more attention. Also, half of the things you listed (being professional, wanting a perfect result, speaking a foreign language, having a hectic schedule, but still not showing how tired you are) - for better or for worse, these are the basics for every k-pop idol out there.

She sounds like an extraordinary young lady. I wouldn't put her on the same level as Taemin though, until she has kept up this pace for nearly 16 years (not counting debut years of training). That said, I wish ALL idols were allowed proper rest and relaxation without having to always be "on".

In my opinion, the No.1 most gorgeous female idol active now is Karina of AESPA, and judging by how she too goes viral for her looks and performance skills and the immense amount of views on her fancams (which are way more than Wony's BTW) this isn't just my opinion but that of SEVERAL others.
Sullyoon of NMIXX has also gone viral several times bcuz of her looks.
Miyeon of Gidle is also very popular for her visuals and vocals (another aspect Wony isn't proficient in).
Why is it then, that all these other visuals, even Karina, do not come close to Wony's level as an IT girl and overall idol?

It's becuz Wonys success has almost nothing to do with her looks but rather marketing and her own studious charm, elegance, stage presence, idol persona and insane work ethic.
