My daughter has been full time Air Force for 22 years. I trained Air Force cadets for 25 years. She has been deployed over seas on 4 occasions and has a husband and 3 sons. I have a deep understanding of the impact on her and her family.
I am very moved by the Dickenson family being looked after. Bless them all and may their family continue to be loving and strong.

Agreed, yet our veterans sometimes seem to be forgotten by the country that they were asked to sacrifice for. When I hear of a veteran who is homeless especially, I just don't understand it.

The SADDEST thing is, he would have NEVER been able to afford MOST of these things on his salary! The US should be ASHAMED sending ZILLIONS overseas (I won't mention to which countries), and not PAYING their soldiers DECENT WAGES! PS) Also sad that it took over 40 minutes for them to get to the point for us to see the house! Anyway, so happy for them, and God Bless them and all soldiers and their families. oh this brings back memories! Mum and I used to love watching this together - it was one of the only shows we loved - next to My Kitchen Rules at the time. I used to DREAM big time of what we would ask for in our dream home if they ever came to us - somehow. Since I'm sure its only an American show/organization that does American homes and not overseas like New Zealand. So sad really that its only American homes. I loved the results of the renovated homes.
