Felicia went from being a mother of four to a single mother of 14. She has been supporting all the children by working as a security guard at a mall. Unable to afford and find permanent housing, this family of 15 had been living in a hotel since December.
It's time to give this loving family a sustainable home.

Because they were doing elaborate repairs on a home that was in need of repair, but not to this extent that it was done, and the people on the show couldn’t afford the mortgage and everything else to keep the house going financially, and then they had lawsuits most people had to sell their houses.
Seems they were just going for ratings instead of really thinking about what they were doing for the people. It was so stupid, making mansions for these people instead of something they could afford the taxes on, the upkeep, the utilities. And many of these people instead of selling them - sat in them till they lost the houses - ridiculous.
Great now I'm sad 😢

This is one story that touches my heart I am 64 years old my daughter died 5 years ago she left 5 children I took them so that the state wouldn't separate them my dream is to give them a farm to live on yes that is my dream.

Extreme Home Makeover was one of my favorite shows, I hated when it was no longer on TV, I cried a lot for the families but after the house was built, the tears were of joy , it is sad that in this great country we have families living in these conditions, and there are more than we will ever know, as happy as I am for this family, my heart breaks for those that will never have a "Extreme Home Makeover" experience 💦
I haven't watched one yet that didn't make me cry. It's worth it. SO amazing to or the families.

Most the families on this show lost their homes because the new larger homes meant property taxes went up and they couldn't afford them.

Imo, it's the best concept for a show. As said in one episode it feeds my soul. It inspired me to pay it forward as often as I can. If i ever win the lotto big expect to see an Aussie version. The world needs more of these people.

These was quite moving, am a fully grown African man where we are taught never to see our own tears, but believe you me, these one broke my ego and just humbled me inside, how these young beautiful lady could carry such a weight on her back and leave in a hotel, but above all is the smiles in their face, GOD BLESS ALL THAT PUT THEIR HANDS TO SEE INTO IT THAT THEY HAVE A HOME.❤❤❤

I dont want to be negative but its been known about the bad things that have happened to other families and they lost what was supposed to be their forever dream homes. Some families lost because of not being able to pay taxes on homes that were so expensive. It gets worse but I pray whatever the problems have been in the past have been ironed out and families will no longer have to lose out on what was intended to be a blessing for these families.
This family doesnt need to have another loss they have lose enough. They have been blessed because their family knows the true meaning of family.
Praying gor them to only have tiny hurdles in life.

This touched me from beginning to end, nothing but tears. My sister is battling stage 4 cancer and this is my biggest fear. She passes before her youngest graduate from high school and enter college without her. He received scholarships but he wants to stay close to home. This is the hardest thing I have ever watched. I wish they were still doing this. Her house needs some serious renovations. She had to stop midway construction when she found out and had to quit her job ❤

When I know for a fact its women out here just having them so the government can pay for them.
