Never recommend wild stuff to eat that has a doppleganger that will outright kill you. Very few things do, and i never understood why they're even mentioned to people who are just starting out. That's right up there with the idiots that recommend stuff that "is poisonous until you cook it in 10 changes of water under the right phase of the moon at certain times of the year but only if you do that can you eat it. pErFeCtLy SaFe!"
@@SurvivalTheory You are misidentifying poison hemlock as wild carrot. They are not the same plant. You need to research and look at photos carefully first. You are showing poison hemlock for most of this video. This video will take people to the morgue.
Most definitely I want to research this. My great granny used plants like these. She was really knowledgeable growing up on the prairies. She was born in the late 1800's and learned a lot from the native Americans. She tried to show me things about wild plants. Wish I would have listened to her more. I have some books on wild edibles in Texas. I will let you know if I find some wild carrots. If I get the wrong stuff I probably won't say anything...lol kidding. I will be careful 👍😉 Thanks for a great video!!!
Damn, good timing on this video for me, bro. I just started watching videos on edible wild plants. The one's I've seen so far are good, but not one mentioned wild carrots. Never even heard of them, honestly. So thanks for the info.
Excellent Topic for a Video! Very Well Done. Thanks Brother for making this one. Didn't know about Poison Hemlock. Poison if you touch it. Great Day to You Brother. Look forward to the next Video.
It might very well be. I've got several plants here that look more like hemlock than the wild carrot does, so I call them hemlock to keep myself safe. I'll be going out and double checking, especially when the berries come in. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video brother..... Hilarious!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I'm no biologist but yes, I can define a woman. 😳 We're in deep trouble when the leaders of our country are this stupid. Look up the recipe for Carrot Souffle. It's crazy delicious. Like Pumpkin Pie. 🎈🥳🎈
This is not wild carrot. He's showing poison hemlock. They are not the same plant. Wild carrot flowers are in the shape of an inverted umbrella. Poison hemlock flowers are in the shape of a firework.
The plant he's showing is not wild carrot. This is poison hemlock. It will put you in the morgue. Wild carrot flowers are the shape of an inverted umbrella. Poison hemlock flowers look like a star-burst or firework. Wild carrot has a ring of green spiky three-prong leaves underneath each flower. Poison hemlock does not have this ring of leaves. This plant is poisonous.
@@SurvivalTheory oh ok. I'm not jumping off that cliff. Looks like the same plant I see across the street. It's the bad stuff. Isn't it. God bless. From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts. But I see a lot of dew berries. There good.

Never knew it had that many beneficial factors to it. Thanks for your knowledge. Stay safe snake. So the other ones that look like the wild carrot are a transgender version of the real deal lol 😂
