Nice snare drums ! I have both your videos and have watched them many times. I saw your clinic at Bentleys years ago. Your funk drumming and analysis/study of funk drummers has always been an inspiration ! 🥁

Stanton, you have got to check out the Dialtune snare drum. Imagine completely changing the sound of your snare drum on the fly, at anytime, without even using a drum key. Faster than it takes a guitar player to tune up even! Go from a parade drum to Clyde Stubblefield without changing drums or using things like fatteners, etc. It's beautifully designed and worth investigating given your amazing collection. ☮ 🥁

I’m new to drumming. But I always had it in my flesh and bones. I spend hours on pad practice kit without ever getting bored. And I’m obsessed with the sound of snare - so satisfying 🥁

Oh my Lord...7 year old me steppin into that room would have soiled Your floor Stanton. Now 54 years later I have a semi boner and seeing all those beautiful instruments reminded me how it was to be 7 years old. At that age a marching drum was the best thing in the world...my moms old tin cookie jar now full of buttons was my first snare I can remember. The best sounding anyways... at the moment I have a demilitarized ex Finnish Army rope tension snare, as I believe that it is a good thing to have a snare just in case if nothing else.
I firmly believe Stanton, that You belong to the 0,0000.....67 percent of our mankind who actually deserves to have all the treasures she/he has. I can't imagine a tru'er person to carry those instruments for the generations to come. Workhorses for future drummers, hopefully. Thanks for sharing without bragging, it is careing.
