Love watching you grow! Have been on this journey with you since week 2. Such a positive mindset!! From man to man, great job dude! These are some changes I have made: I am also doing resselling while at college. Recently made some changes to my mindset about eBay. I have focused on high sell through rate and high profit margin for about 4 months now and I love it! lowers the ammount of inventory I have at any one time and makes my job a lotttt easier. Also, I have began to take advantage of banking listings. I just list on saturdays now and make listings for the entire week and drop feed them every day.
I wanted to thank you for being a positive and uplifting channel. I too lost my job earlier this year. I have been watching many UA-cam Resellers for at least a couple years prior thinking that someday I would start part time. Seeing your videos gave me the final push I needed to start. I have never been happier. I love being my own boss, learning about new things and hearing the sound of an ebay sale come through. Thank you for addressing the negativity that we has been present in other videos about new resellers and youtubers ruining the business. I share your abundance mentality as well as the thought that businesses need to change and adapt.
@@jodyconley1827 first and foremost, I am sorry to hear you lost your job. As you know I can relate to that and I know the anxiety that comes with it. Second, congratulations on starting your own business, I truly wish you nothing but success & fortune. There is nothing better than being your own boss. And I think the main reason people are unhappy is because they set unrealistic expectations for reselling. Thank you so much for the kind words and watching! ❤️
I think it goes a long way to buyer confidence when they can leave feedback for a positive return experience. I had a similar situation that an item I bought had an incorrect condition listed, and the seller immediately refunded the whole thing. I would definitely purchase from them again.
Unfortunately, eBay makes changes like the offer without telling sellers. I generally find out on my own or from a youtuber who often finds out from the boards or one of the eBay blogs like Value Added Resource
I used to like the feedback system but have to be very careful now days as the scammers will try to manipulate the system. Have had several over the years threaten neg if no immediate refund with no return. I always refer the msg to Ebay and thankfully I have always been protected. But I do see horror stories from other sellers where ebay would not remove or protect them from this extortion. Also do not agree that we as sellers can not leave neg feedback for problem buyers. This used to help us filter out problem buyers and scammers as we could set not to sell to a buyer with a rating below what ever % we set. I have been in this ebay game since the 90's and over all have done well even if frustrating at times. Good luck to you in your ebay journey and glad it is going well for you.
@@tj8244 I agree with you! Now whenever a customer reaches out to me, I simply reply stating my policies and just follow them to a T. If any negative feedback comes from it, eBay has always had my back. But it just takes one time for them not to. As for feedback, I have my policy set to “send positive when positive is received” I use to just give feedback at the point of sale, but I learned that was not the best idea the hard way. Thanks for the input and watching! 👊🏻
@@ericenloe8967 I can’t confirm it, but it does sure feel like I send out a lot with no responses (including declines). Thanks for the input and watching! 👊🏻
@@TheOldMansPicks I actually like that idea! It’s a fair middle ground. I feel when I am locked out, I forget about the change and it doesn’t get fixed for a week or more.
@@PhoenixSales85 In these instances, I usually end the listing, correct the issue, and relist the item, I rather fix the issue before it becomes an issue.
no wonder all my offers are disappearing ebay has some stupid policy changes they send me offers i accept them it says they will charge the buyer automatically but goes away
@@hyepwr23 I haven’t experienced that yet, but that sounds frustrating. Sorry to hear that! Anytime a companies does software changes there are bugs. Thanks for the info and watching! 👊🏻
@@TheOldMansPicks it’s just weird to me, I feel like a refund should negate the sale and the ability to leave feedback. But I run an honest business, so I am never really concerned about feedback.
