This prevents manufacturing issues when the cover is trimmed to size.

the manuscript size was 8.625x8.25 and the cover was 17.25x8.75 so now do i have to change this measurment ? Please help me
Hey try adjusting the images on your book. Make sure they cover the edges. And also add 0.125 to the height as well as the width as suggested in the email.

We can always better the resolution using free online tools and then import them to Canva :)

I made a video about this. “Publish a recipe book to Amazon kdp” you can find it on my channel. I have found that it doesn’t matter if your content is AI generated. Amazon just wants to know this for research purposes. At the moment there are no regulations that prevent users from using AI generated content. Moreover, even if you don’t disclose this information, there currently are no measures in place by Amazon to verify whether your content is AI generated or not. So it’s safe to assume that you can still make and upload AI generated content to Amazon KDP!

The copyright laws in the US allow people to use AI generated content as their own without any legalities. In the US AI generated content cannot be copyrighted so yes you can use these rhymes directly:) if you want to tweak them and add some of your own words, even better!

Hey, you just need to fix your book cover dimensions. Calculate your book cover size accurately using Amazon KdP book calculator and then use the full cover dimensions generated by it to make the cover on canva.

Hi Sara, I love this, thanks so much. I did replicate steps by steps your method but this is the comment I received from KDP: Increase your outside margins so that content isn't trimmed when your book is printed. The outside, top, and bottom margin requirements are 0.25" (6.35mm) for books without bleed and 0.375" (9.52mm) for books with bleed. See examples on PDF page(s) 3, 5, 15.

So all you need to do is add 0.125 to the width and 0.25 to the height of the book. For instance, if the measurement for this book was 8.5 into 8.5 inches you will make it 8.625 into 8.75 inches
For the book cover you will make this 17.25 into 8.75 inches.

Amazon does not yet have any objections with using AI. They just want you to declare it for research purposes. Moreover, in the US there is no copyright infringement for using AI generated content :)

Amazon started a section before the book preview which asks you about the use of AI in your book. Does that demonetize your kdp account?
It is only for research purposes at the moment. It will not demonetise your account.
If I already had written story how can I create a series of illustrations using same characters ?
There are some illustrations in canva in different poses as well. You can also use midjourney to create consistent characters and then generate backgrounds separately as well. You can also download free character packs from freepik.com
If nothing works then you can also hire a graphic designer from upwork or fiverr to design a character for you!
Can't the KDP account be suspended by creating an e-book with AI?

What if someone else uses them? How can you claim them to use on your own?
If you use a paid subscription of Leonardo AI then you own all the copyright to your content. If you’re using a free plan then you won’t own the copyright but can still legally use the images however, they will be considered free royalty images and others might be able to use them too.

You can create an account on payoneer and get a US bank account. You’ll need to add some money to it. Be sure to check what the fees are on it. Other than that buy a US number from Skype and use that number to add to your Etsy account. Choose your country to be US and you’ll be able to create an account from Nigeria like that.
