The head sculpt is pretty good and it does a solid job of resembling actor Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams. However, as you've already mentioned, Sideshow Collectibles played it a bit too safe when it comes to the facial expression that was given to it. It would've been a better idea to include a second head sculpt with a more exaggerated facial expression. Sideshow Collectibles have, on more than numerous occasions, given their 1/6th figures alternate head sculpts, which would've worked wonderfully for Ash Williams. If there is any character that would've been suited to have an overly exaggerated facial expression it would be him. The cuts on his face and the blood that's dripping from his forehead are a nice touch. The hair has been nicely sculpted. I appreciate the fact that both the left arm and the left side of his chest have blood splatter. However, the left side of his chest has a piece of plastic that protrudes out, which looks really jarring and awkward. This is an instance where a rubber body would alleviated the issue. Either that, or leave the shirt intact, which would've covered the exposed piece of plastic. The hair and vein on the left arm and the hair on the left chest are nice inclusions as well. The clothing has been stitched nicely. The paint application is quite clean. The sawed off shotgun and chainsaw both look great. Despite a couple of issues, this is still a solid release by Sideshow Collectibles. With that aside, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate the hard work. Keep it up!
This is one of the better Ash figures in my opinion. Very nice detail and comes with awesome accessories like the Henrietta head sculpt who doesn't like severed heads? I would cover that chest plastic with some of the ripped shirt doesn't look nice to the eyes... or eye if one pops out by pressure of being squeezed between a trap door and floor.
Liking the review, though I still unconditionally love my Sideshow Ash. ;) The severed hand actually came with the Sideshow Exclusive version of the figure. Current update: Asmus Toys has announced a terrific-looking Ash, also from Evil Dead II. Can't wait to see how that actualizes.
Hey review spot The Sideshow Collectibles Evil Dead 2. Ash Williams figure is awesome No, I have not got a chance to pick this one up for myself. But I do have. The neca 2018 Michael Myers figure,a nightmare on elm Street Freddy Krueger figure and the neca child's play ultimate Chucky figure
Can you do me a huge favour? Think you could measure how long the chainsaw is? I'm trying to make one out of wood and can't tell of its less or more than 6inchs. Thanks
Honestly what I think is that extra piece of plastic in the torso that jagged are a part of his Serratus anterior muscles which they sculpted that way. Prob wrong but that’s what I see.
Wish it came with three heads. The one it came with as the neutral, Another with a huge scared look on his face, and the final being a yelling/gritting teeth as if he’s in a fight with a Deadite.

An absolutely awesome review of an absolutely awesome figure with super cool accessories!
If leather face had a brother
NECA should make a
The boy Brahms action figure
Dead silence Billy action figure
Goosebumps Slappy action figure
Pleas like if you agree
The hand that you thought looked like it would be for the dagger is actually for the grip on the chainsaw so he can hold it with both hands.
Well...attached to the right stump and held with the left hand lol
You're welcome. Oh, by the way. I'm watching your video. You did 21 hours ago. On the hot toys evil dead 2 Ash Williams figure right now
Bruh the ppl who complain ab the headsculpts are crazy bruh. It’s just a more stylized version of him and I actually love it.
I'm sorry, sir. No one will be seated after the doors are closed. It helps maintain the illusion.
It looks so cool ! When did it come out ?
The grabbing hand in probably for the handle on the chainsaw
Very expensive with this virus and my job gone...😷 but Worth it!
The prototype face was better than the final release.
Necronomicon looks like it was made for 6 inch figure
