Gaiac 10 is oh so good! It was the first City Exclusive I gravitated towards, but Musc 25 is my favorite now. Also, I think when you purchase a new bottle, it comes in a box, but when you refill it, they throw it in a little baggie.
I've been a loyal fan of Le Labo for nearly a decade. If you've been following them since the early days, you might have noticed their consistent price increases over the years. I remember purchasing Gaiac for $245, and now it's selling at $350. While the price hike may seem relatively minor in the grand scheme of things, I find it difficult to continue supporting a company that price gouges each year. I understand their desire to maintain an aura of exclusivity and designer status, but ultimately, it feels like you're paying a premium for a scent that has likely been replicated countless times for $30 or less. As someone who has invested thousands of dollars in Le Labo products over the years, I have to say it's just not worth it anymore.
The price hikes have definitely been noticeable. From my first refill to now. I’m ngl I’ve tried a few of the gaiac dupes but I haven’t found any that lives up to this one. Would love a suggestion!
@@reesewonge Bvlgari Pour Homme EDT is the closest smelling scent to Gaiac. Was made by the same parfumer too!

Gaiac 10 is my favorite City Exc. too. It's subtle but super-addictive, calming. Benjoin 19 and Poivre 23 are in 2nd and 3rd place for me.
gaiac 10 is sooooooo good! i hate it!!! hahhaa. its so simple but not in a bad way. but damn that city exclusive price is brutal. i got a travel size this year because i couldn’t drop that much this month but a part of me is like i shoulda just got that bottle 😭
GIRLLLLL you need the whole bottle! Then you can refill whenever 💁🏻♀️ and cheaper
i can’t wait to get a sample and hopefully a full size of gaiac 10 this september! been loving le labo for a few years now love thé noir, santal, and lys but have a full size of another 13 (my first le labo) and my newest one thé matcha!! been hearing about gaiac 10 for years now from kpop idols LOL

That’s definitely the effect it has on me. It’s like a nice surprise when I get a whiff of it later on in the day.
What does myrrh 55 smell like worth getting? Ps. You need to try another 13 sooo good its my signature scent!
Does gaiac 10 smell almost smoked meat like to you?? In the past it smelled super creamy and woody with a light smokiness, but now it’s straight up bbq. Curious if it’s this years batch or what
I got the sample this year (in Europe, idk if that makes a difference) and it definitely smells smoky on my skin at first but after a while it disappears and only leaves the lovely creamy woody notes behind.
I really want to buy this but I’m on a perfume ban 😭
