  • Is there a dupe for Glossier You? I’d say no, but there are other perfumes that offer the same take on this “your skin but better” scent profile and Fleur de Peau is one of them.
Addendum: Glossier You was composed by Frank Voelkl and Dora Baghrich.
Have you smelled these? Is there one you like better?

Love the Fleur de Peau bottle so much but the scent pulls really sharp on my skin, almost masculine. Though, it lasts all day on me, whereas Glossier You I prefer, but can’t smell much of past 30 minutes. Great review! My skin is a big time black hole for perfumes 😂. You’re very lucky 🍀.

Ah! No winners for you here! I wonder if you would have better luck with Chanel’s 1957, though one does have to like Chanel to like it.

@@CanadianBeautyBlog I haven’t yet tried any of their exclusive line, but do enjoy/own half dozen of the regular Chanel
perfumes. Will put it on my to-try wish list along with Misia.

Great comparison review Henna! I own Fleur de Peau and have been curious about Glossier You for a long time. I have too many Iris perfumes to add one to my collection that is so similar.

That is fair! I pass on so many perfumes because of this.

    I enjoyed this review/comparison!
I have a thought about the longevity issue that your friend had … do you think there has been some reformulation? I bought a new bottle about 6 mos ago and it had different packaging than what you have. The scent smells the same/good, but I feel the longevity is poor on me too. 🤷🏼‍♀️

There have been many rumours about reformulation but none that have been substantiated. 🤷🏽‍♀️ honestly, I think it’s a pretty affordable perfume to make and without any banned materials so I don’t think they would reformulate it.

OMG! Here in Sweden Diptyque would be the cheaper alternative! Original price for 100ml You is 150EUR (and it's never on sale...) and the usual sale that several department stores with Diptyque have like twice a year makes their edt bottles down to a 90-100 EUR for the BIG bottle.... The 75ml Edp's usually go for 120EUR on sale... I usually get a bottle once a year... This hear I got the Eau Moheli 100ml edt for 90EUR... So probably the Fleur de Peau is the better choice for us here 😅... Crazy how prices differ between Europe and North America.

Totally. I’ll be sure to stock up on diptyque the next time I’m in Europe!

Not surprising that a boring perfume that lacks quality and has a dishonest owner/book author would appeal to millennials.🙄

The writer of the book isn’t the same person who made the perfume. The owner of the brand is not the perfumer. Not sure what your point is exactly. Just that you are bored by Glossier You? That’s too bad. I hope you’ve found some perfumes that you love.

Why come on her channel and be rude? Did your mother not teach you that if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all? 😮.
@CanadianBeautyBlog I just found your channel today & just subscribed. 😇🙏🏼
