About Mimicyu evolution, yeah imo it’s the least likely, but if you want to evolve it maybe use light ball, signature item of Pikachu family and don’t make it just Raichu, instead what about more looking like Pikachu, if Mimikyu want to be like Pikachu let’s just stay with it
I think that mimikyu should evolve if you trade it for Pikachu! It would be so enraged by you taking the real Pikachu over it that it would evolve into an even more spiteful pokemon.

Honestly, I feel like it'd be a more interesting concept if Mimikyu evolved to imitate another popular Pokemon instead. Like, what if its spite and desires grew so overwhelming, Mimikyu itself evolved, physically growing in size? Then, it would be far too large to disguise itself as a Pikachu, so what if instead it began disguising itself as a Charizard? You could have black tentacles coming out of the decoy's mouth, acting like flames and giving the impression of some sort of corrupted imitation. I just thought that would be a cool idea. All around good designs though! Loved the Skarmory concept.
Mimikrai should get stab on Ghost and Fairy moves. It should also get half stab with Electric move since well its not Electric type but has an ability that grants it Electric properties. You don't always have to think of the meta when making Pokémon, at least for abilities. Imitation is an exclusive to Mimikrai. Just go with what is fun and stuff. 😊
Give chesnaught and delphox mega evolutions as well, is so dumb that the region's starters don't get anything from the main mechanic from the region Idk about greninja because of Ash-greninja, but i think that Ash-greninja no longer exist on the actual games so i think that this would be fine as well
Coloruff sounds absolutely horrifying with those stats, it would easily get banned from Ubers and probably even AG. You could do Steel/Fairy type with Speed Boost as an ability with Spore. You could do Ground/Fairy, Ice/Electric, Ghost/Fighting, etc with Huge Power. The options are basically endless.
I would give the Smeargle evolution the signature move "Trademark" which would work like Scetch, but it also uses that move and the opponent can't use that move anymore. Forgetting and learning the move are temporary and end when switched out.
one change i'd make to the mimikyu one. make it a thunder stone evolution, but have a thunder stone be visible somewhere amidst the shadow. this would imply it is so jealous of pikachu's fame and popularity that it would try desperately to act like it evolved when, in reality, it just got a bigger bag. Also i'd make buster wing raise speed instead of giving it priority. high base power priority moves are too good and that's why they're few and far between.

Skartillery is utterly badass. JUST a little too mechanical-looking but that's a nitpick. Mimikry is a terrifying upgrade to the laready terrifying Mimikyu. But Coloruff seems fun. Useless Pokémon like Smeargle deserve evolutions to give them SOMETHING. Like what just happened with Dunsparce.
loved the skartillery , and about coloruff i think resketch should be a move that replace the old sketched moves , so in essence coloruff have 3 moves that it can change with its "uno multi-colors" move "resketch"
I think giving the mimikyu evolution just another stab to electric would be the best way to implement it and wouldn't necessarily be broken compared to what we already have in present pokemon. That being said I think mimikyu is one of those pokemon that really shouldn't have an evolution.
I really want Skartillery "vertical wings" to also be it's tail feathers, as in when it is on the ground they are at a normal bird tail position, but when it takes flight the feathers move to its back to create the vertical wings. To be "less" mega or paradox, maybe the feet are the same, on the ground they extend and work like normal bird legs, but when it takes flight it retracts them closer to its body and they change or spin or something, into those turbine looking parts.
I think coloruff could have a few different sketch moves like quick sketch where it was a priority move and rough sketch where it would be a boosted version of the last move with an accuracy drop
I’m not sure you understand how Smeargle and Sketch works, because he can copy stuff and keep the copied move from one fight to another. Smeargle essentially has access to all the moves in the game, it is not a drawback at all. Once Smeargle has used sketch on everything it need in the wild, it can then start any Battle with the 4 most broken moves combination for the given rules. Also, this means it already has access to Doodle because Sketch can copy it from a Grafaiai… But unlike Sketch, Doodle does not keep the ability upon leaving the battlefield. Would be interesting to have this distinction (and it would be utterly broken too). And from what I understood, Resketch works like Mirror Move ? Which Smeargle already has access to if that’s the case.
I Imagine skartillery would have an ability similar to chestnaughts “bullet proof” But i would call it “Stealth Coating” and such “bullet” type moves have a high chance to miss instead.
1:52 I also had a silly idea for a Mimikyu evolution: people started hating it for mimicking pikachu, so it turned into a total attention seeking edgelord, constructed what basically amounts to a krampus costume and then proceeds to scare children and also it attacks other pikaclones immediately on sight.
Part of me really wants skartillery to be a real thing because it looks incredible, but the VGC part of me wants it to stay the hell away because of its absolutely broken signature move combined with great typing
So, about Coloruff: i like the design, but there are some flaws with the concept because Smeargle is already so gimmicy. A move like scribble already exist in Reflect Type, and also Conversion/Conversion2 to an extend. There are also multiple moves that do the same as Resketch. Mirror move copies the move that was last used by your opponent. Copycat copies the last moves used by any Pokémon on the field (even your own). These two only copy a move once and don't replace the move slot, just like you suggested. There are two more copy moves though. Mimic copies any last used move, but it gets replaced with that move for as long as it's on the battle field. Me First is similar to mirror move but in reverse. You copy the move before the opponent uses it and with 1,5x the power, but you have to be faster for it to work. And then there is Assist but that's a whole other thing. Would fit the theme though. Anyways, all of this is meaningless because Smeargle can learn all of these moves too with Sketch, so Coloruff doesn't really improve on the gimmic by learning them naturally. An option to set Coloruff apart from Smeargle would be the ability, which could have the effects of scribble/resketch (but as an ability that activates on the first turn). Or just give it Protean. So maybe Coloruff would work better as a mega evolution of Smeargle, where it gets a new design, better stats and a new ability.
Fun fact, I've been using a shiny Smeargle in the Indigo Disk, and gen 9 is perfect for the little guy! Being able to relearn and forget moves from the pause screen means that you can completely redo his moveset at any time! It totally rules, this is the way I've always wanted to play with Smeargle!
6:03 Fun fact, GameFreak has made a move do this exact thing before with Porygon’s signature move Conversion in Gen 1. This effect was immediately changed in the following gens and changed again in the most recent gens, making it copy a the type from your move in the first slot.

Buster Wing is way too (pun intended) busted to not have a drawback, especially since Skartillery will probably have good attack. It needs to either have recoil or only be able to be used on the first turn of switch-in

I always wanted a smeargle evolution, because of its stats. This one would be awesome. Having a pokemon with great stats you can entirely design yourself with ability, moves and maybe even type.
I would love to see what ideas you’d have for a Pyukumuku evolution. 1:50 I had this idea of a Mimikyu evolution that had it be happy enough to leave behind its Pikachu disguise and instead put on a more intimidating outfit. Thought of it going by Makkuma (Combining mock and akuma which is Japanese for evil spirit)
Imagine if Smeargle had a different typing defending on the color of paint that is on the tip of his or her tail. I think that's a missed opportunity. Like it gains another typing depending on the paint color [ie: green = grass type = normal grass type].
The Skarmory evolution was awesome. But I'm not sure Mimikyu would copy Raichu. I think it would make sense for it to copy another more popular Pokemon, like Charizard.
As much as i have questions concerning coloruff, my main one is this: why give it a custom move to copy the opponent's ability when you can just give it the ability Trace? It does the same thing and doesn't choke out its moveset as much (assuming the user of this pokemon would want to utilize its signature moves). Could even give it a variant of Trace that functions like Mummy and activates when the opponent hits them with an attack.
A 100PWR/100ACC priority move is too OP, especially considering Steel Wing is just 70PWR/90ACC. If it dealt recoil damage and had either PWR or ACC adjusted, it would be more balanced.
Smeargle should have 1 attack move of memtornome , but that’s it for it to have. But the rest really should be like what has been said from in this video.

Give the Skarmory Evo Mega Launcher or something else that represents the power of firering air cannons. Armor Cannon, Aurasphere, etc included. Or an Ability that gives higher chance for Crits or boosts damage when the Target is X-times slower than itself.
Kinda sad you didn't mention Zoids at all when talking Skartillery, because dear god just looking at the thumbnail made me go "That's a Storm Sworder". Felt mad nostalgia right there.
Absolutely love this video funny enough in a Canada based Pokemon region im currently working on, and funny enough i gave Skarmory a Pre-evolution named Skarling and an evolution funny enough named Skartillery, that also evolves by using a new move called Shatter Wing 25 times, Shatter Wing is a multi-hit move that on contact will set a layer of spikes for each hit (Max: 3 layers) and has the Hidden Ability Stainless Steel which is thermal exchange for Steel Types :D
If Coloruff is a real pokémon, it would be fun if you give Coloruff the electric type, with the wonder Guard ability, and give Coloruff the air balloon, this would be the most busted pokémon ever. I mean sure you find ways to take Coloruff out by toxic stall it, Neutralizing Gas wonder Guard, and all but still 😅 But in all seriousness all the new evos you made are amazing I think Mimikrai is my favorite out of all of theses in this video 🥰

If you'd make the Mimikrai not have stab on ghost and fairy moves then there's no point in having them. So prolly just keep that ability to just making it act as a electric type defensively seeing as ground attacks are incredibly strong and losing on the stab of ghost and fairy type moves wouldn't be worth it. Though I do think they should gain some signature dual type either fairy electric or ghost electric (similar to how flying press does both fighting and flying type damage).
I was thinking Mimikyu Evo to be more like a chimera. Mix of Pika copies but still being Ghost Fairy but Electric could work the way how you’ve mentioned it Also Reaper Cloth is genius Would be fun to see it evolve by holding reaper cloth and beating 10 pikas Or Trading reaper Mimi only with a pikachu for it to evolve
Mimikyu's evo with the ghost/fairy/Electric type with that ability would make it. Defence Weak to Ghost/steel/ground ×2 Resistant Grass×2 bug×8 Immune to Normal/fighting/dragon Offence It would hit 7 types for super effective damage that being fighting, flying, ghost, dragon, water, psychic and dark. I think this ability is to strong to simply give a 3rd type but if it gave either the Offence or defence of the Electric type not both or gave it's stab attacks the Electric type like how flying press is a flying fighting type attack disability could make Shadow Ball a ghost electric attack for example.
I would lower the power of buster wing. Most moves that go first have to have some form of nerf to them naturally. Things like aqua jet and accelerock are quick clean up moves. Sucker punch is strong in the 70 power range but it has to be used when another pokemon uses a move. A 100 base power move that ALWAYS goes first with no draw back is stupid powerful. So I would give it recoil if you're going to keep the base power the same. Otherwise, 70 power would be appropriate.
Instead of "Resketch" you could instead call it something like "Reference" since using references is a common art practice of learning based off of something you observe. That way you wouldn't risk confusion by having to similarly named moves doing the same thing. Could also be interesting to have Smeargle Evolve my learning this move or Doodle. To help represent it growing as an artsist.
Instead of Coloruff as a name, I prefer artisound. A mix of the words Artist + hound while sounding really similar to Artisan which is the name given to someone creates items which could be considered artistic with his hands
Personally I think that skartillery looks a little too mechanical. Like, I see the vision but it just looks like a fighter jet with a bird face. Still a sick design, but it kinda feels off.
I feel like all these evos are awesome, but I would rework Skartillery,s signature move. 100 BP 100 accuracy priority is just too broken, I’ld make it a clone of Palafin’s Jet Punch

Skartillery should get access to shift gear allowing it to function as a sweeper in addition to the same role as skarmory.

1:50 I had this idea of a Mimikyu evolution that had it be happy enough to leave behind its Pikachu disguise and instead put on a more intimidating outfit. Thought of it going by Makkuma (Combining mock and akuma which is Japanese for evil spirit)
Imagine if Smeargle had a different typing defending on the color of paint that is on the tip of his or her tail. I think that's a missed opportunity. Like it gains another typing depending on the paint color [ie: green = grass type = normal grass type].
If Coloruff would have the move Imprison as an ability, it probably would have a niche in tournament play. Also eviolite Smeargle though
I was hoping to see a Paldean Smeargle in the games, with a fountain pen in the tip of its tail and focused on writing.
The Skarmory evolution was awesome. But I'm not sure Mimikyu would copy Raichu. I think it would make sense for it to copy another more popular Pokemon, like Charizard.
My most favorite from this video is probably Coloruff.
Basically mimicry's ability is like an electric terastalization without stab
As much as i have questions concerning coloruff, my main one is this: why give it a custom move to copy the opponent's ability when you can just give it the ability Trace? It does the same thing and doesn't choke out its moveset as much (assuming the user of this pokemon would want to utilize its signature moves). Could even give it a variant of Trace that functions like Mummy and activates when the opponent hits them with an attack.
A 100PWR/100ACC priority move is too OP, especially considering Steel Wing is just 70PWR/90ACC.
If it dealt recoil damage and had either PWR or ACC adjusted, it would be more balanced.
Smeargle should have 1 attack move of memtornome , but that’s it for it to have.
But the rest really should be like what has been said from in this video.
A lot of Pokemon like Skarmory, Tropius, Duraludon, and many others need pre-evos in my opinion.
Skartillery looks like it would make a better mega evo instead of a normal evo
I would LOVE Coloruff to be an actual Pokemon, and what better place to happen than in Kalos.
Skartillery straight up reminds me of the Blue Eyes Jet from Yu-Gi-Oh
Imitation should imitate the opponent’s type so it gain resistance to its opponent’s stab. While maintaining it fairy ghost type .

Give the Skarmory Evo Mega Launcher or something else that represents the power of firering air cannons.
Armor Cannon, Aurasphere, etc included.
Or an Ability that gives higher chance for Crits or boosts damage when the Target is X-times slower than itself.
Kinda sad you didn't mention Zoids at all when talking Skartillery, because dear god just looking at the thumbnail made me go "That's a Storm Sworder". Felt mad nostalgia right there.

Absolutely love this video funny enough in a Canada based Pokemon region im currently working on, and funny enough i gave Skarmory a Pre-evolution named Skarling and an evolution funny enough named Skartillery, that also evolves by using a new move called Shatter Wing 25 times, Shatter Wing is a multi-hit move that on contact will set a layer of spikes for each hit (Max: 3 layers) and has the Hidden Ability Stainless Steel which is thermal exchange for Steel Types :D
If Coloruff is a real pokémon, it would be fun if you give Coloruff the electric type, with the wonder Guard ability, and give Coloruff the air balloon, this would be the most busted pokémon ever. I mean sure you find ways to take Coloruff out by toxic stall it, Neutralizing Gas wonder Guard, and all but still 😅
But in all seriousness all the new evos you made are amazing I think Mimikrai is my favorite out of all of theses in this video 🥰

Okay but Coloruff's paint splotches change color depending on the typing it copied. Even if it's just a battle effect, that'd be cool.
a Steel Type Extreme Speed is absolutely bonkers. That is incredibly unbalanced, If it just had a chance to raise speed it would have been fine.
All of these potential evolutions are very cool. My favorite one is Skartillery. Sick design, great new move, what more can I say about? It’s awesome! 🛩️🔥
If you'd make the Mimikrai not have stab on ghost and fairy moves then there's no point in having them. So prolly just keep that ability to just making it act as a electric type defensively seeing as ground attacks are incredibly strong and losing on the stab of ghost and fairy type moves wouldn't be worth it. Though I do think they should gain some signature dual type either fairy electric or ghost electric (similar to how flying press does both fighting and flying type damage).
I was thinking Mimikyu Evo to be more like a chimera. Mix of Pika copies but still being Ghost Fairy but Electric could work the way how you’ve mentioned it

I think this ability is to strong to simply give a 3rd type but if it gave either the Offence or defence of the Electric type not both or gave it's stab attacks the Electric type like how flying press is a flying fighting type attack disability could make Shadow Ball a ghost electric attack for example.
Mimikyu could just evolve by holding the reaper cloth with high friendship or low friendship

I would lower the power of buster wing. Most moves that go first have to have some form of nerf to them naturally. Things like aqua jet and accelerock are quick clean up moves. Sucker punch is strong in the 70 power range but it has to be used when another pokemon uses a move. A 100 base power move that ALWAYS goes first with no draw back is stupid powerful. So I would give it recoil if you're going to keep the base power the same. Otherwise, 70 power would be appropriate.
Instead of "Resketch" you could instead call it something like "Reference" since using references is a common art practice of learning based off of something you observe. That way you wouldn't risk confusion by having to similarly named moves doing the same thing.
Could also be interesting to have Smeargle Evolve my learning this move or Doodle. To help represent it growing as an artsist.
Mega evolution mimikyu would wear a fat pikachu costume instead of raichu I think
mimikrai should evolve with a thunder stone, it pretends to be pikachu so when given a thunder stone, it changes clothes
An alternative to the reaper cloth could be a dusk stone

Instead of Coloruff as a name, I prefer artisound. A mix of the words Artist + hound while sounding really similar to Artisan which is the name given to someone creates items which could be considered artistic with his hands
Personally I think that skartillery looks a little too mechanical. Like, I see the vision but it just looks like a fighter jet with a bird face. Still a sick design, but it kinda feels off.
I feel like all these evos are awesome, but I would rework Skartillery,s signature move. 100 BP 100 accuracy priority is just too broken, I’ld make it a clone of Palafin’s Jet Punch
