Saw the title… had to click.. ! 🤭 All Joking aside, great video! Let’s have a discussion soon?
God Tier!
God Tier!!!
A colab video would be God Tier!
Would love this sit down mates
yes please
respect for calling it football and not soccer
Only 35% are in the US that watch. The comments would be coming for me if I called it soccer haha.
Watches are a personal choice. At those prices there is no such thing as value. These watches are bought by people whose purchase of a mid five figure watch is the equivalent of me and you buying a swatch. No movement or build quality from any of the major high end players (at $30k+) will ever represent the price you are paying for that watch imo, so it is all about the look and that is in the eye of the beholder.
So if you like the look of Hublot, and price is not a thing for you, go ahead and buy it! It's not for me, but I don't sh!t on people who love it.
Well said.
Except all the major players like Rolex, AP, PP, etc all gain value after some time. Many even double or triple their value if held long enough, no hublot can stay the same.
Also, don't gift a watch to an enthusiast unless you know the EXACT watch they want. It's too risky.
All of this. Well said.
VC is an absolute dream! They have several watches which are simply magnificent. I also love that it's a bit in the shadow and not in the spotlight with PP and AP.
The Overseas collection is getting there
Its not independent, it's not a coincidence that AP, PP and Rolex reaching apex status together, they are all independent, well, at least for investment, it's better to be with independent than in the Wall Streets.
Hey Teddy just wanted to say thank you! You helped make my Christmas this year. I’ve watched you since you first started making content and followed your growth and am very happy to see how for you’ve come. The majority of my watches I’ve bought grey market strictly for cost but I really wanted to show my support more than just watching so I ordered a Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 with the cream dial and rose gold tone bezel from Your website and I couldn’t be happier with the total experience! Great service, fast shipping and the watch is fantastic! Thank you for all you do and good luck going into 2022.
Loved this year end round up, so many great questions- especially loved the VC comparison Q&A. Congrats on another successful year!
Thanks for all the awesome content this year Teddy. Here’s to a better 2022, for humanity and for watches 🍻⌚️
Thanks for watching and supporting it. Wishing you a nice 2022 ahead!
Merry Christmas Teddy, you probably are the most amazing watch-influencer surprise in my 2021. Your knowledge, passion and authenticity is unique out there. Cheers 🥂
Thanks Teddy! Really cool to see one of my questions featured. Love your channel and the FB group, looking forward to all your new content in 2022!
Thanks for all the videos you posted in 2021! Can't wait for more interesting and informative videos next year, Merry Christmas Teddy!
This is my favorite youtube channel, I’ve learn from it and every new video just gets more interesting, it never gets boring. It’s very satisfying to have been watching for almost 6 years now and watching your company grow more and more. Keep up the good work!! Merry Christmas and a equally blessed 2022
I know I say it every year, it thank you as always for what you bring us content wise, knowledge and just a place where the watch community is made to feel “at home “ cheers to 2022!
A continuing “thank you” for all your efforts, Teddy. Here’s to a great 2022!
Always learning something new with your videos! Thank you for all the knowledge about watch and watch industry.
Nice to see you answer my question first up! Thanks Teddy, top content as always🤝
Teddy, what i love about your channel is that you cover all watch brands. You educate us on their history and catalogue.
I find it really refreshing because most UA-cam watch channels are essentially Rolex channels. Their channels are based on hype, value and Instagram. For a young guy, its very refreshing that you've not been caught up in all of that. Instead, it's clear you have a huge passion for watches and I thank you for your non bias open opinions.
Merry Christmas and all the best for 2022!
Congrats Teddy and Team. Stellar delivery, stellar information, constantly getting better at your craft, you deserve all the success that follows. Keep it up, sir.
Thank you for all your fantastic work this year both on UA-cam and at your store.
Great Q&A Teddy, one of the best. It's been great being a subscriber to the channel over the last few years and is incredible how things have changed for the better during that time. Us watch nerds may not agree on everything but like you I always respect other peoples opinions. Keep producing content for 2022 and beyond Teddy and have a terrific new year. Best wishes.
I discovered your channel this year and it's the only watch channel I view consistently. I appreciate the high production value, interesting insights and humble approach. I'd love to see a little more variety in the watches you choose for categories though - starts to feel like the same dozen. But otherwise this has been incredibly educational.
Discussing the sheer amount of time that goes in to your productions... Wow!! I had no concept of the leg work and commitment that goes in to making such a fine finished product. Great work! I have spent hours going through your Education playlist and I have picked up so much new information, (for me). I am looking forward to keeping up with your content and curious to see what new and interesting directions you choose.
I love these kind of videos teddy, they're great for discussion and conversation for watch enthusiasts they might not be able to exercise elsewhere.
Merry Christmas, thank you for your contribution to watch community, Teddy
I live in the US, in Silicon Valley. My experience with Hublot is more about the guys that wear them. Every time I’ve bumped into a guy with a Hublot he was a “try hard” guy. Usually guys with huge trust funds who know nothing about watches and really focused on being impressive. Remember Ellis from Die Hard? Usually it’s that guy wearing a Hublot. That said, Hublot does make some very beautiful, very complicated and highly engineered pieces.
Hublot literally copied Richard Mille and AP. They overcharge the shit for their crap watches.
@@user-eb7ns2or1j everyone copied Louis Breguet and put tourbillon in their watches. Literally everyone has a watch with a tourbillon now let's hate all those brands too. Don't be that guy.
Except that Ellis, famously, was touting Rolex.
Hublot are worn almost without exception, worn by blow hards
@@crzyruskie86 You are comparing a technical feature that improves accuracy with a design aesthetic that's purely for show. The hate is completely justified.
Been really getting into your videos this year, always a pleasure to hear your take, great topics with a very balanced and erudite narrative. Happy Christmas to you and your team, here’s to a great 2022!
Thanks to you and your team for another great year of content! You all have brought me hours and hours of enjoyment. I really hope you all have an awesome holiday season and a wonderful New Year.
Teddy grinding this holiday season with a lot of uploads! 🙌🏼👏🏼 happy holidays to you and your family teddy and everyone else here in the comments section 🎄🍾
I really do like VC, especially the roségold overseas is soooo sick. I'd bet that VC in five years, becomes as famous as PP and AP today.
I'm glad to see you promoting MIDO watches in your videos, I recently bought the Ocean Star GMT, since then all my other watches have been placed back in their boxes and put in the cupboard, the MIDO is incredible value for money it looks and feels excellent.
Teddy your knowledge has been invaluable to me in my journey to learn more about and appreciate watches!! Happy Holidays to you and yours and looking forward to an exciting 2022!! Can’t wait to see what your channel has in store for the new year.
He assumes a lot and it is just his opinion. He doesn’t intimately know how these groups operate.
He is way too romantic about VC, as I do not see Richmond Group being a hinderance for them, but more their own lack of innovation for many years of course, they do know how to make watches, but haven’t delivered their own blockbuster watch… the Fiftysix collection has potential but still no must have watches their for that price
Nice jacket bro!!!! Where did you get it?
This channel is single handedly getting me into watches. Thanks Teddy!
Still one of the best, if not the best watch channel on UA-cam. Keep it up and happy holidays.
Thanks for the video Teddy. You're doiing an amazing job for us watch enthousiastics. Wish you all the best for 2022 and Stay safe. Greetz from The Netherlands, Hans Peter
Finally, been waiting on Teddy's take on Hublot
Hope you’ve had a great Christmas and wishing you every happiness for a successful, healthy and rewarding 2022! As always, thoroughly enjoying all your content, which just goes from strength to strength in terms of its professional presentation, but what keeps me coming back as a subscriber is your knowledge, your generous balanced and informative approach that has been a big part of my own watch collecting journey. Very best wishes, Rob
Really enjoy your channel and content, keep up the good work!
I’m so glad that you talked about how much time goes into making videos. I don’t think people realize it even appreciate the time that we invest to make free videos. Keep up the great work Teddy and team!
Miguel
I have been watching your review for some time and thoroughly enjoy them all. I have to say this is one of my favourites. Keep up the great work and thanks for your insights into the watch world!
Excellent reviews, programs. Always considerate, unpretentious, polite, knowledgeable-which cannot be said about some of the other watch "experts".
Teddy thanks for another great year of content!
Great video and information!
Merry Christmas, Teddy!
It is great to see such a successful person at that age! Congratulations on your hard earned success Teddy!!
Happy New Year ⌚
Great content and advice.
Happy Holidays to all.
Ted, man! ... I love the Energy your Dad scintillates.
What a Soul!
POWER of ART .-.
Merry Christmas Teddy to you, your family and your employees. I thoroughly enjoyed this video.
Very fascinating. Nice getting to know you. Very fun video!
Thanks Teddy. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Always fun when you give a nod to RGM. I hope 2022 is a little kinder to us!
Keep up the outstanding work Teddy !!!!
Generally love the videos, but this one was especially fun. Hope you guys have a great 2022. I'm trying to figure out what I'm getting in 2022 and these videos create a lot to think about.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁!!! Thanks!
Happy Christmas Ted, and Courtney .
Teaddy God .
Marry Christmas .
Happy New year.
Great vid this week!
Congratulations on the growth of your business Teddy.👍
Teddy you and the guys do a fantastic job always interesting keep up the good work
VC … huge fan myself. Great customer experience at the boutique (for me) and two words… 1755. Ok, that’s a number.
Great video and great questions.
Great video. I bought a Zelos from you a couple months ago. Great product and good job building your business empire!
Why is everyone going mad about Nomos, their movement are ok, but the style looks like cheap fashion watches and the lugs are huge, the watch is as big lug to lug as an Ap 44 mm
I like my Hublot.
I REALLY like the lighting and colors of this video.
Funny enough, I was just researching hublot value a few hours ago ! Good video as always !
God Bless, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Prediction for next year; Teddy goes crazy with set decoration and buys a poinsettia for the corner of his desk 🎄
Great professionals and great team; keep up!
Wowwwwww that Breguet blue dial is GORGEOUS. 😳😍
Merry Christmas!! The VC reference 4010T/000G-B740 is my grail watch. I also love the overseas model's too.
These question and answer videos are great.
Merry Christmas TB.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Teddy! Great videos as always, only recently came across your channel this year and it is the reason my interest in watches remains. I don't know if you'll ever read this but I look forward to another year of content from your channel! With that being said, will there be any plans of making an app for your website? I'd love to scroll through your blog whenever I'm waiting for time to pass .
Helloooo Louis Erard! Nice to meet you, and thanks for the introduction Teddy.
You’re right Teddy. The Classic Fusion is a very tastefully designed watch and that Genta-esque bezel is probably one of the prettiest around. The hate is just snobbery, perhaps envy.
I think its also just plain fun to some people. Not saying you're wrong at all, but people love to pile on. Something about mob mentality. I've always liked the look of the classic fusion, never held one in person though.
@@goodrobot1 Too true. I think what people get so worked up about is the prices - expensive fun they object to. Easy - just don’t buy at full retail.
Merry Christmas Teddy
Watch finder brought me here n I'm not disappointed..good additional info 👍
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Merry Christmas 🎄
Teddy, I have never worn a watch or been interested in jewellery. Being 30 now and randomly recommended by one of your videos where you go shop for a collection with a budget and time was really fun to watch. I am so hooked on watches now and with your knowledge I am able to decide where I can start with cheaper pieces. Thanks for being a guide into the world of watches even for the little guys who won't be able to just go out and get a 10k watch.
Warm Tip: if you start with Seikos you’ll be stuck in Seikos for a long while because there are so many and they really are great and attainable. But if you skip over Seiko and don’t start there, you may find a more dynamic and gratifying collecting experience. That being said, would you be interested in buying a few Seikos?
@@PhaedruS007 oh I don't get stuck to 1 brand. There are multiple watches from multiple brands I want. Just need time to afford them all. Haven't gotten any seiko's yet but will for sure. Just got orient bambino first and a beater black diver watch.
@@PhaedruS007 bad tip
@@trumptookthevaccine1679 That being said, would you be interested in buying a few Seikos?
Protect Teddy at all costs!!
Thanks to you I now get what an “Influencer” is. Been trying to figure that out for years. Love your video and your interpersonal style! Best wishes to you and yours!
Great content 🙌
I am also into fragrances. That and watches are my two collections. Would love to see Teddy's fragrance collection.
Looking good in that jacket/knit combo Teddy, happy holidays.
🙄
Nice work per usual Teddy!
But still Steelers > Browns 😂
Wow Teddy: You hit this right out of ballpark. Simply Superb
Could not agree more on the Nomos! As an owner, their balanced design and finish still 'get' me, even after owning it for years.
My man loves the milk chocolate turtle neck! You rock it bro
Merry Christmas!
happy customer here!! can't wait to see what i can buy from you in 2022!
Watches are beginning to interest me, and I’m not sure that it’s a good thing. But, Merry Christmas nonetheless! :)
It's ok if you can control yourself, don't let someone else's collection influence you too much, be happy with what you can get, I have a collection of 4 watches, nothing too fancy but I love them
Brace for impact. Merry Christmas!
F91W. Merry Christmas.
I love Floris too! I wear Honey Oud or Santal. Merry Christmas.
Didn’t know you were a drummer, heck yeah Teddy!
VC is making a big come back!
Great job as always. Some interesting questions. Happy holidays and continued success in 2022.
PS - Sinn dealer in 2022? 🤞
Would be very curious to hear your opinions on fragrance, your collection, specific fragrance houses, etc.
Hey like the new look of Teddy!
I bought the Santos de Cartier in a two-tone medium model this year & love it!!
very interesting about the plans and costs for a video - I'd enjoy seeing a 'A day in the life of TB' or how we made that video we released last month from a watch store in Canada (say).. Thank you for the content and insight. My head got the better of my heart today. My vintage gold longines is 1.5 mm thicker than the ultra thin vintage gold manual wind VC and is the same diameter!! Saved a packet ....maybe
Whoa whoa whoa Teddy, 1970 called here?
Some good advice Teddy on gifting a watch. It is such a personal gift that my advise is, don't do it haphazardly. And BTW, buying a watch for a watch enthusiast is even more fraught as we WIS have very specific ideas of what we want.
For me the issue with Hublot is partially design, but mostly value for the money. Everything I've seen or read is that they are roughly equivalent in fit and finish to watches in that 5 to 8k range, but they're priced with watches along the lines of AP, Patek, A Lange, etc. IMO they're not "worth" what they're asking, and i think the aftermarket prices show that.
That being said i do agree the style aspect is a big part of it for most people. I just try not to focus on that because style is really a matter of personal expression and its not my place to judge people for that.
Value for money?
Bro you're buying a thing that tells you time something your phone already does for free and more accurate. 😂
@@ashishpatel350 Instead of value for money, it's really comparative value. A Grand Seiko with its technology, accuracy and quality finishing costs $5-6,000. A Hublot with an ETA movement, while nothing wrong with that, costs $10 - 12,000 or twice the GS.
@@davidc5191 I agree ... Most of these watch makers rely on hype and marketing with a false sense of rarity.
Love gs their movements and dials are top notch.
Oh wow, I've never looked at Hublot prices. I thought they were in the 1-3k range.
