The boss this plays over has a lot of Christian references packed into it, so it's probably intentional.
Penacony has lots of biblical references
@@joshbrosh6626 Yeah it's jampacked with biblical references its crazy. Heck even Jade's symbol is a serpent, probably hinting the same serpent in the book of Genesis
This was my thought as well. The music progression feels like a contemporary Christian praise and worship song, and you're fighting a boss where the stage music has been latin choir and organs. So it also reinforces the dichotomy of order vs freedom with a musical dichotomy of traditional vs contemporary.
It's no Wildfire, but it's a really good boss theme.
