I’ve been loving using the elf camo color correcting concealers (the ones with the doe foot applicators, not the pots) and LA Girl mixing pigments. As someone who is very yellow and olive, sometimes concealers are too pink-ish or a foundation is too cool. I like mixing in green or yellow to make it match. Or mixing in blue to cool off an overly warm base product.
(And a trick I learned is to I mix a little blue into liquid bronzers like the elf CT dupe to cool them down for contouring.)

They are super similar! I think the Maybelline one has different types of pearl in it, one of my shades has bronze pearl and one has more of a champagne. I thought that was interesting. Maybelline is slightly longer lasting.

I love the L’Oréal one and am 6-7 (tan) in that one but unsure if there’s a shade for me in the Maybelline skin tint. I think you’re a shade lighter so interested to know which shade you used, I tried to listen for it but don’t think you said.

I would love to know your thoughts on the Maybelline Super Skin Tint vs. Loreal True Match Nude Serum Tint? I've heard so much praise for both - are they comparable?
They are super similar, actually! I haven't tried them side by side but Maybelline definitely has more coverage in my opinion, and it looks much dewier when it's set down on your skin.

Essence pretty natural hydrating foundation is and always will be my favorite foundation ever for the most skin like and natural finish but also with good coverage and is $7!! And also the LA girl pro coverage hd illuminating foundation too which has more coverage and is really for days I want a full on glam!! Those two are seriously holy grails for me I always repurchase!!! ❤😊
Gosh I've had such bad luck with Essence foundation + concealer, but I haven't tried that one yet! I'll have to test it out.

Oh gosh... everything. I exfoliate regularly, I use the SKII essence, consistently wear SPF, etc. I think exfoliating helps me the most

What’s the comparison between the ulta strobe lotion to the loreal lumi glotion ?
Ulta is more like a luminous lotion. Loreal Lumi isn't moisturzing for me, personally. Loreal Lumi is also WAY more strobbed.

I personally did not love the pixi bronzer in soft glow. The stick itself looked like a nice, cool toned brown shade but on my fair skin it looks like a gold highlighter balm. Love the on-the-glow blush sticks but they aren't very long-wearing so I prefer to layer them with other blushes.

Hasn't that joah been around for quite sometime? Like since 2022? I'm not completely positive but I think they reformulated their crystal glow by adding peptides and hyaluronic acid and other skincare (which was recently launched in like March 2023) ...don't get me wrong I may be WAY OFF but I could've sworn I had a Joah 3 in one foundation a few years back .....don't hold me responsible if I'm wrong 😂
I've only recently tried it and it's advertised as new at my CVS. After searching online - it looks like it has been out for sometime. I am incorrect, it is not a new product.
I think some of these are so funny because Morgan Turner absolutely hates those pixie solid bronzers to the point where she calls them "makeup removers" lol
Why is it funny? If you apply them with a brush and not directly onto the face, they don’t lift makeup. Just like most other stick makeup products. Alas, to each their own.
You have to remember that not all makeup works the same for everyone just because one person doesn’t like the product doesn’t mean that everyone else doesn’t have to
