Ok I’m saving this video for life as my constant reference I haven’t watched any makeup dupe videos for forever and I just watched the best one!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH HUN!!!😆💖✨🙏
Ty Jessica for such an informative video. I can’t wait to try the Essence blush. One thing to note maybe to your viewers is Hourglass blushes and bronzers(I used both) are Talc free. I’m deathly allergic to Talc and that’s why I always turn to Hourglass products. BUT, the Essence baked blush is Talc Free too!!!!!!! Yeyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!👍😊👍😊👍😊
I don’t usually like a lot of Elf makeup but you absolutely sold me on those lipsticks as I love NARS lipsticks. Your recommendations always work out for me
Those elf lipsticks are almost identical to the Maybelline Superstay Lip Crayons, but maybe even a little dryer. It honestly wasn't what I expected. It's very matte... comfortable enough but with winter lips I was hoping for a little more moisture.
@NO yeah, I like them as well. I will probably appreciate the formula more when it warms up and it's not so dry. I somehow had the impression these were more of a satin finish, so that's on me. If you love the ink crayons, you'll love the elf as well.
Thank you so much for your review I actually got my hands on the color pop had to touch when they were having a sale!! I got that one and a few other ones that are just so gorgeous. I appreciate your reviews and I think a few videos back you discussed how this was your job and that you know people didn’t have money to run out and get every single thing you were talking about. You explained that this was your job and it would be abnormal for someone to go out and purchase all the things that you purchase. I wanted to thank you for posting this because I know even for myself it can be very easy to get sucked into the latest and greatest new make up. There is just too much of it for any person no matter how much money you have to keep up with. Myself I got a little carried away and had to bring it back down to reality and realize that no one can keep up!!!
I just wanted to say thanks, in one of your videos you mentioned how good the missha BB cream was and it has become almost the only thing I use for my base. I'm 67 and it doesn't sit in lines. Love it
I’m obsessed with Essence across the board - I own literally every lip product they make & I worship them. Of course we know Lash Princess is QUEEN, but those blushes both remind me of Luminoso! Does anyone know if they’ve been compared to each other?! I mean for $6 I’ll probably get it anyways in a different color lol but curious, bc I own & *LOVE* Luminoso - it’s my year round go-to
Good for you 🥰 Unfortunately, once these products go viral, they're impossible to find anymore for many of us. I've used ( and loved ) Essence foundations, mascaras, blushes, lipsticks & glosses since 2010. They're constantly out of stock everywhere now! I live in a small town too, where they don't sell ELF, Milani and Revlon so that doesn't help 😢
The revolution one does dry down really well and blends beautifully! Just be careful when setting it and try setting with a powder bronzer and patting it on rather than a translucent powder that has a little pigment because it can sometimes make it muddy if the powder has any colour to it.
I grabbed the milani contour wand ♡ I grabbed one for my daughter for Valentine's Day also I'm putting together cute little bags. You are not alone girl I also thought roller skating. You just taught me that today.
Love your content, long time follower- from when you were a teacher and pre kiddos!! Could you do an updated video of cream/liquid favs? I found an older video and am patiently waiting for my ulta order to try out what you recommend. 💜
The hot to touch colourpop blush is one of the best and it surprisingly lasts. i got it as the blush/highlighter duo so i mix the two sometimes to get a blushy/glowy look 🥰
Omg I’ve been saying for years how that essence pure light highlighter is a dupe for the hour glass ambient powder it would make sense that they just add pink pigment to their highlighter formula and you get an instant dupe for the hourglass blushes
So glad you told us what lipstick you're wearing in this video, your lipstick looks lovely. I've been looking for a kind of rust red colour. I will have to have a look for this Elf lipstick 😁
Groupa dupa! I’ve honestly had better luck at the drugstore lately. Drugstore makeup is so much better than when I first started wearing makeup in the 70’s. My mom wore only Estée Lauder and it worked for her. I started with Covergirl and Coty and now like L’Oreal, products, but wish they were cruelty free so tend to look for other options.
OMG!! HOURGLASS!! YES!! So there are very few high end products that I've repurchased (two to be precise - KVD tattoo liner and Hourglass ambient blush). I like to try new things but also like to save so I tend to use more drugstore than high end. A few years back I tried a mini of the Hourglass glass ambient blush in mood exposure and LOVED it! I've repurchased the full size twice during the sephora sales but it still painfully expensive. A few weeks ago I saw one of your videos where you talked about the new essence blushes and showed the goldy cassis one. I am a big mauve/berry blush girl so I added that to my cart. As soon as I saw it in person I thought oh man this looks like the Hourglass one!!! It is SOOOO CLOSE!!! I think the Hourglass glow is a bit better but they are so close and for the insane price difference I already added another essence to my cart so I have a backup in case they get discontinued. Such a great blush for such a great price! Love these videos! Stay well :)
I love the hour glass blushes. I use a large fluffy powder brush, and just use it to blow out my blush. Clear up the temple, the edge of the brow, and slightly under the eye.
The Armani foundation is my favourite foundation ever. I bought it for my wedding day and omg the lasting power and the finish is perfect for my dry skin. Also the shade match on my very fair skin is so perfect. I’m intrigued that the Sephora one might be similar.
I'm curious, too. The Armani is my everyday go-to and holds up well for my 10 hour work days. It still comes off on masks, but not terribly so and it wears off in a way that doesn't look bad at all.
We love you, too! I think I’ve been following for almost the whole time. You also live in my city and I met you one time at “A store by you called Meijer”😅 during a really hard time in my life and you were so sweet and genuine and it meant a lot. You have my support for as long as you are creating content! ❤🎉😊
i would recommend trying the revolution eye bright illuminating concealer (i’m pretty fair and use shade deep caramel) as a CT contour wand dupe! i haven’t tried the CT one, but i really like my revolution one and find it very easy to blend
Sephora Lipstories cream formula is not only a formula dupe for the audacious, but also many color dupes. If you haven't tried them, you should. The packaging is much cuter and recyclable too. Also, Covergirl Clump Crusher in green dupes Benefit Rollerlash.
Another GREAT Dior blush dupe is Covergirl Cheekers blush in Candy Pink. I saw another influencer mention it months ago and then just saw Kelly Strack mention it again recently. You have to build it up a little more than the Dior but it gets you there and is such an affordable option! Also, ❤️ you!
Kokie Pinken trio blush and highlight trio palette and Revlon Wild about Violet blush too. Physicians Formula mosaic blush in pink along with Essence. There are a lot that look exactly like Dior’s on the skin
I think my favorite dupe I found on my own at least I feel like it’s a dupe is the Maybelline master strobing stick in 100 light/iridescent for the Fenty Matchstix in the shade Starstruck. I bought the Fenty one for years because it was my favorite highlighter on my skin but I was curious if there was something drugstore brand I could find instead and I found the Maybelline one. I love the Maybelline one and I don’t think I even own the Fenty one anymore
Your excitement is contagious! ❤Gotta try the elf lipsticks, for sure, and the Essence baked blushes. (I love the Milani baked blushes though, so it's it's going to be a big hurdle for Essence.) Never had any luck with Hour Glass either--sometimes application on cheeks from the same package look different because of the swirled product. Annoyingly gimmicky. So thanks for the dupes!! Happy Valentine's Day! 💝
The Essence Pure Nude highlighter is a dupe for the Ambient Light setting powder too Lisa J did a short on it! You CANNOT DUPE ROSY GLOW! Dior nailed it! Something happens with the Dior blush, the shade in the palette doesn't transfer that pink, it really turns Rosy on the cheeks! There's something special about it and the Coral one is like that too! It's the formula!
I have been w u since u were jam beauty & I really think this may have been my favorite dupe video yet !! I appreciate that you give props to the product no matter if they're in the higher or lower end of the scale. I have saved a lot of $ thanks to these videos. So....thank you & keep them coming !! I'll be here waiting for more !
I think the best dupe for the Giorgio Armani is the Loreal true match nude Hyaluronic Serum foundation. It is incredible and I am an older woman who used the Armani for years. The downside is the color selection (at least where I am) and Loreal is not cruelty free so I'll be heading back to Armani ;)
Sometimes the dupe has the advantage over the original. The original launches and all the consumers vocalize what they wish were different so the dupe is able to address those things
I want to get my hands on that blush from Colourpop. Hopefully, they bring it back. I am also excited about the ELF sunscreen and the lipstick. This is why I am an icon member of ELF.
I picked up one of those elf lipsticks the other day at target and it really is crazy how similar it is to the nars! Now I need the elf sunscreen lol!!
For the tarte maracuja juicy lip plumping balm, I think wet n wild's rose comforting lip color in the shade biscotti mommy could be a closer dupe to it in look and feel on the lips (in terms of the shade and formula, minus the cooling sensation you'll get with the tarte one). It's also $5.29, so you end up saving $18 more than you would with the flower one. Thanks to Ms Emily Noel for mentioning the wet n wild lip color in her drugstore newness video (planning on getting the pecan glaze shade she tried on the video, which is a pretty browny nude shade for me😊).
Jessica. I’ve seen that color pop body bronzer is a dupe for the Nars!!! I haven’t tried them yet, but it’s on my list!! I love your videos. You are so honest and I feel I can trust your reviews/dupes!!! You are AHMAZING!!
I recommend the trader joe's spf and elf hydrating cream with spf in the blue container. It hydrates while also protecting and giving you a slight glow
I think the Sol Body Bronzing Balm is closer to the Nars. I'm not one to keep backups, but I definitely have a backup of the Sol one because it's that good!
LOVE this video. You do “dupes groups” so well! My favorite dupe from this video has to be the NARS/ELF lipstick. I will be checking out those ELF lip pies post haste!! I’m like…magnetic packaging for $9 🥳
The Ulta Brand Ultra Slim Brow Pencil is a good dupe for the Benefit Precisely, My Brow, and the Chapstick Total Hydration Tinted Lip Balms are a slightly more moisturizing dupe for the Glossier Generation G lipsticks!
I try to avoid purchasing makeup that is made in China and unfortunately, the elf products I’ve seen are made there. I know many of the products we purchase are made in China, but this is my attempt to make a tiny difference. In the end, that is likely why those products are so much cheaper. It’s a me thing…but I love that you show these options! Great for all consumers to know their choices!
Unfortunately China is taking over and not much is made in the usa anymore. If it is it’s usually one ingredient or the packaging or something minute. Slave labor has taken precedence sadly…
Based on a video you recently posted I bought the elf lipstick and the mascara, the pink flat sided makeup sponge, the makeup revolution under eye primer and the essence baked blush.
I bought the Nars cream bronzer after watching your Jam beauty awards and it doesn’t disappoint I have worn it everyday since!! I don’t feel like my makeup looks good without it I will repurchase it over and over it’s worth the price. And I am definitely buy at the drugstore if I can kind of girl 😊
I just placed my order to try the Elf lipsticks. If you buy from their website, there are more shades than what Ulta offers! (I think there are 10 more, 20 total)
I’ve been watching your videos on and off for years, no rhyme or reason why I don’t watch lol, I just go in spurts with You Tubers for some reason. But anyways it just occurred to me that you are the Queen if Dupes! If someone asked me if there is a dupe for something, you’re the first one I would think of!! I’ve been obsessed with some of your dupes and still love them.
With dupes, IMHO a factor to consider in addition to the look is how long lasting it is. If the dupe wears off in an hour - it’s less of a bargain especially for face makeup.
That’s very true! I do think the Sephora foundation she mentioned stays put well for me. I don’t know how it would perform on oily skin but it’s been great on my normal/dry skin
Wow,thanks for sharing these dupes. I’m excited about the e.l.f. dupes because I’m changing all my makeup to cruelty-free only and I used to love NARS Audacious lipsticks, but no mas.
The only thing that’s stopping me from buying the elf one is the fact that it’s only spf 30. Usually I buy around 45 atleast. And the other thing is, Korean and Japanese sunscreens almost always can be used as primers, have higher spfs and some are much cheaper than even the elf one. So yeah, usa sunscreens just doesn’t cut it.
@@veehart6600 there is some difference especially as people often don't apply enough so the higher the protection the higher your chance to achieve proper coverage. But it's also about better filters that offer more broad coverage and much better UVA protection. The best filters aren't approved in the US
1:05 elf spf > supergoof spf
2:51 sephora foundation > armani foundation
4:48 milani contour > charlotte tilbury contour

Your recommendations always work out for me
Have you tried elf in the last year or so? They're REALLY good.
Those elf lipsticks are almost identical to the Maybelline Superstay Lip Crayons, but maybe even a little dryer. It honestly wasn't what I expected. It's very matte... comfortable enough but with winter lips I was hoping for a little more moisture.
@@PurposefulHomeschool those maybelline crayons are one of my favourite lip formulas
@NO yeah, I like them as well. I will probably appreciate the formula more when it warms up and it's not so dry. I somehow had the impression these were more of a satin finish, so that's on me. If you love the ink crayons, you'll love the elf as well.
Hey Jess ! Just wanted to say I’m watching from Chile and send you a big big hug! And thank you for your company all of these years ❤
Thank you so much for your review I actually got my hands on the color pop had to touch when they were having a sale!!
Love it
i LOVE the Sephora Best Skin Ever foundation so much
I’m obsessed with Essence across the board - I own literally every lip product they make & I worship them.
I’m so glad you said that about the hourglass blush. It’s so patchy I gave up.
That elf lipstick brand you mentioned. The shade ‘dirty talk’ is a dupe for ‘Pillow Talk’
That Essence blush is beautiful. Love it over my high end blushes.
I grabbed the milani contour wand ♡ I grabbed one for my daughter for Valentine's Day also I'm putting together cute little bags. You are not alone girl I also thought roller skating. You just taught me that today.
Thank you for drugstore dupe videos! I have the budget for higher end makeup but I look for as many drugstore options as possible. Keep em coming!
I love the elf lash & roll mascara. Def my favorite mascara, high end or not
Love your content, long time follower- from when you were a teacher and pre kiddos!!
ELF is killing it right now. I also saw a comparison of Tarte lip with a Wet and Wild product. Which we know is way affordable. Thank you, Jessica!
Omg I’ve been saying for years how that essence pure light highlighter is a dupe for the hour glass ambient powder it would make sense that they just add pink pigment to their highlighter formula and you get an instant dupe for the hourglass blushes
Great info!!!! I actually found a NARS cream bronzer at TJ Maxx the other day for $12.99, only found one in the whole place but they’re out there :)
So glad you told us what lipstick you're wearing in this video, your lipstick looks lovely. I've been looking for a kind of rust red colour. I will have to have a look for this Elf lipstick 😁
I trust your recommendations more than anyone on UA-cam, honest and cannot be bought, all opinions are strictly your own. Very genuine.
I love ELF products and I agree they are really stepping it up! i want to try the O Face lipsticks but I have a hard time finding shades I like.
I love the hour glass blushes. I use a large fluffy powder brush, and just use it to blow out my blush. Clear up the temple, the edge of the brow, and slightly under the eye.
I love the Tarte lip plump in the shade Primrose! I swatched Cherry Blossom in store and thought it was too light for me. Love your videos!!!
It's really not ...
Thank you so much for this video. The fantastic thing is that not only are the dupes a fraction of the price but also cruelty free!! 🥰🐇
I've never tried the Dior one, but love the Cheekers!!
❤❤I love that one!! I own it and think it’s beautiful
Kokie Pinken trio blush and highlight trio palette and Revlon Wild about Violet blush too. Physicians Formula mosaic blush in pink along with Essence. There are a lot that look exactly like Dior’s on the skin
That Hourglass blush is georgous. Just love it
I think my favorite dupe I found on my own at least I feel like it’s a dupe is the Maybelline master strobing stick in 100 light/iridescent for the Fenty Matchstix in the shade Starstruck. I bought the Fenty one for years because it was my favorite highlighter on my skin but I was curious if there was something drugstore brand I could find instead and I found the Maybelline one. I love the Maybelline one and I don’t think I even own the Fenty one anymore
The Tarte Amazonian Clay 16-Hour Foundation reminds me of the Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Foundation.
The expesive Nars have magnetic closures, the e.l.f. are amazing lipsticks and people were bitching about it being $9!! Nuts!
The 3 pan bronzer, blush and highlight from Relove are sooo good. You need to check them out
That Tarte line goes on very condensed and I fly through the product. I will have to check out the Flower Beauty one!!
Have u tried the new Wet n Wild comforting lip color!? That’s the best dupe for the Tarte. The formula is exactly the same for like $5!!!!!! ❤
Great video. The depth of that elf lipstick on you is perfection!
If you have oily skin the makeup revolution cream bronzer is cake City. I was disappointed. The NARS bronzer is worth it!!
I LOVE that e.l.f. lipstick in Drive. It is the perfect 90's brown. 💋💯
The new True Match is too!
Armani is not cruelty-free either. It's my favorite foundation ever and I can't find a cruelty-free dupe to save my life. 😭
The Dior blush looks like an Instain Blush in Lace by The Balm. Great dupes
The elf pure nude highlight is a dupe for the ambient light as well!!
Group of dupes...lol.
BTW, I used the Shea Moisture hair mask you recommended in your last video...💕
Happy Valentines Day!💟
Sometimes the dupe has the advantage over the original. The original launches and all the consumers vocalize what they wish were different so the dupe is able to address those things
Thank you! I’ve wanted to try the Armani foundation for a while, but it’s awesome to know I can get a similar look with the Sephora one!
I tried to guess which side was which before you said and I guessed wrong! The drugstore side looks amazing!
Please mention the shades of the products you discuss ❤
It’s the “Makeup by Mary-oh” for me 😆 ❤
You should if you haven’t already tried the westman atelier contour stick. Favorite bronzer ever
Ohhhh my lanta stopppp!!! I always thought roller lash was referring to roller skating… no idea why! Im mind blown right now🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOVE this video.
Agreed. Many dupe videos never compare product quality, where it's made, etc. I wish they would. How it looks on is just one factor.
Ur simple eye looks look so beautiful all the time, love them!
I just bought one an hour ago and I can't wait to use it tomorrow!
The Elf whoa glow pilled on me! It might've been my moisturizer
Love how excited you get! 🥰🤣
Also I want to try that Elf primer!! Yes!! 😊
Affordable alternatives are always appreciated!
the tarte maracuja juicy lip plump reminds me so much of the Colourpop lippystixs
I heard that everything from 30 to 45 is almost no difference at all but I guess we can look it up 🤔. I just got my elf one today in mail!!❤
And the filters tend to be more stable, so more effective.
They have higher quality more efficient filters too. And come in so many formulas for all kinds of skin types
@@veehart6600 there is some difference especially as people often don't apply enough so the higher the protection the higher your chance to achieve proper coverage. But it's also about better filters that offer more broad coverage and much better UVA protection. The best filters aren't approved in the US
@@exomake_mehorololo if you don’t add enough spf..70 or 15, it won’t work.
Tarte just came out with their own ph adjusting blush that's almost exactly the sane as the dior as well. I bought the tarte one and I love it!!
Please Jessica I love ur hair can u tell us what color it is ?? The highlights and everything 😍 you're so beautiful
