This looks like a really fun game! Very similar to Atari’s “Outlaw” and Bally Astrocade’s “Gunfight” from back in the late 70’s.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to look into getting a Bally Astrocade console and games, lol. I forgot about that system but you're right about Gunfight. Thanks for the comment!

Nice. The color gives it a western look too.

That is cool! It really stands apart from what people think vintage handheld games were with typically being outer space or sports themed. You have a keeper - both with the game and boyfriend for getting you this 😊

I never thought a wild west / western type of game would have been made and then to even be entertaining... A total surprise. Thanks for checking it out.

This is one I've not seen before, I don't think we had any games by Bandai over here in the UK back then.

I had not seen this before either until I found it online. I know Bandai originated in Japan but I thought they had some presence in the UK but unsure as of when. I'm starting to discover more interesting games that were region specific but thanks to eBay it's now attainable 😀. Thanks for checking this video out. I appreciate it.

@@VintageGamingMemories These are very interesting videos, I like to see what various games were made but not sold here in the UK. FYI, I still have my Sinclair QL from 1984 complete and boxed and my modded Amiga A2000 with GVP Geforce 68030/68882 card and OpalVision from 1991. But none of the handheld/table top electronic games from the late 1970s to early 1980s nor my 1982 ZX Spectrum 48K 😞
I have a shed load of emulators and thousands of "ROMs" for just about every home computer and console from the Apple II and Commodore PET up to the Amiga 1200, Megadrive and SNES and I love to play games on the systems I never had back then and emulators allow me to do that.
It is possible to use MAME to emulate a lot of electronic handheld games such as the Game And Watch series (I had the twin screen Donkey Kong) but I haven't tried doing that as I primarily use MAME for playing 1,000s of arcade coin-ops from Asteroids and Space Invaders (the first arcade coin-ops I can recall playing in the late 1970s) to Bubble Bobble (the last physical arcade coin-op I played in 1986).
I'm 55 and unemployed due to heart failure and strokes so I have all the time in the World (famous last words) to relive my childhood as well as discover and explorer new games whether they be handheld/tabletop or home computers and consoles and it is channels such as yours that bring "hidden gems" to my attention for me to investigate further and hopefully play 😁
