A great actor and a wonderful company of players who created classic piece of Television history. Although I do believe that as the show progressed, Irwin Allen under- utilized Guy William's talents.
What a cool compilation, really brought him back for me. My beloved friends were Will, he wasn't much older than me, the doctor and the robot. But every one of them was perfectly cast. Truth is this show - these people - made my lonely childhood bearable. I'm indebted to the creator.
Guy williams is my favourite handsome actor of all time. Rest in peace 31 years on now. Sadly missed. Sleep tight Guy Williams my handsome actor. Till we meet again someday up in heaven soon too. Love you and miss you forever My handsome actor Guy williams. Rest in peace. Xxxxxx
It's nice to see Guy showcased for a change. He was horribly under used, but he did shine when he got his shots. He also had a wonderful voice. Too bad he never did any narrations other than his log entries in the first few episodes.
Yeah I never got why they just ended that. I think they had another episode later on in season 2 where they did it out of the blue but then they went right back to not doing it. Wish that was a staple for most episodes where he was doing a log could of been their thing!
@@kyllepoiencot4361 Johnathan Harris became close friends with Irwin Allen, the creator. Allen gave the show literally to Harris.. Thats VERY sadly what happened..
Guy was the perfect person for the original thought behind Lost in Space and the network was wrong. It could have worked. The Canadian remake of Lost in Space is in 3rd season soon and is taking the course of the original intention of being an adventure series. It's gripping. Don't get me wrong, the 60's Lost in Space was awesome. But listening to the interviews with Johnathan Harris, that's what I think Guy signed up for and looking at the first few episodes, it was a good fit for him.
This is what is great about lost in space about guy Williams that is the real reason that I love the show and the music that goes with it anything guy Williams fighting
Here’s a man who would have been a great Captain of the Enterprise. Shatner may even have been more suitable to the silliness of Lost in Space as well.
Guy Williams got thoroughly disgusted by how little he was given to do on "Lost in Space", but he also had a sense of humor about it. "The way I look at it, I'm getting paid more per word than Laurence Olivier".
Despite some of the silly stuff around him, Guy Williams created a credible and likeable science fiction hero in Professor Robinson, a humane family man and courageous explorer of space. I always felt he was better than Trek's Captain Kirk, even if Lost in Space's stories were an oddball stream of fun hits and painful misses.
This series rocked what could a sci fi nerd want more. a cool spaceship with a lander pod, rocket belt, all terrain rover (chariot), laser guns, monsters, space travel, I'd race home after school and quickly did my home work before I was allowed TV.
My. Two favorite Lost.in.space episodes focus on Guy.Williams .The Challenge when he had the sword fight with Michael Ansara. HUNTERS MOON.WHEN FOUGHT VINCENT.BECK.

Guy Williams is what made lost in space TV show a great TV show and the music they used when fighting off a attacks in episodes that was used over and over again in each episode that was done in each season of the show
I know this is an old post, but damn! Guy Williams was a great actor! I know he was kind of soured on acting after LIS basically ignored his talents and diminished his TV character of John Robinson. He COULD have went on to do anything, and achieved even greater success! (Just imagine him to go into serious roles, like Steve McGarrett in “Hawaii 5-0”)! Or many of the other cop/detective shows that flooded TV after LIS was cancelled. Alas, it was said he invested his money well, and simply didn’t need to continue acting to make a living. You can’t hate on someone taking an early retirement, if they can afford to do that!! It is just sad that he let the ridiculous last 2 seasons of LIS to be the last we saw of him!! (Because we didn’t get to see much his talents there)!!
Guy Williams was a fantastic actor and if you really want to see him in some dramatic scenes, check out the six episodes of Bonanza he did just prior to LIS. As Will Cartwright, Guy had a great role but unfortunately, it was meant to intimidate cast member Pernell Roberts to behave himself or be replaced. Guy didn't like being used by NBC and left the show which left him open to do LIS a year later.
About a decade after LIS ended, he moved to Argentina and lived in Buenos Aires for the rest of his life, although he did make occasional trips back to the US.
Poor "Guy." Was promised the starring role and had it taken away by Doctor Smith. Sometimes it happens. Same with the Leading actors of "Good Times." Then "Kid Dynomite" took the title and Esther and John quite.
Guy Williams made the show what it was and kept it going he was never silly on the show and work around dr smith so it would not get out of hand with him around he was the real star of the show that people like the most about the show with the music used in his fight seanes ĝot ÿou to which the show that has kept it going all the years it has been around
Guy Williams was the greatest John Robson ever that made the show what it was know one can do it better than him and the music gave it more action to the fights he did on the show
Wish we saw alot more of him and Mark Goddard in later seasons should of been like the first season throughout about the whole family and not just will, dr smith and the robot.
I guess all white people look alike. That whiny, feminine looking Clooney looks nothing like the handsome and masculine looking Guy Williams. Damn you must need glasses.
J'ai acheté cette série en DVDs et, durant un mois. je regardais un épisode tous les soirs. J'ai fait une pause de quelques mois et j'en regardais un de temps en temps. Or, j'ai constaté que chaque épisode commençait par "last week as you record...". Aurais je commis une faute grave en les regardant irrégulièrement ?--
Great video. No matter how stupid and silly the episodes got, Mr. Williams always managed to bring a small measure of dignity to them.
A great actor and a wonderful company of players who created classic piece of Television history. Although I do believe that as the show progressed, Irwin Allen under- utilized Guy William's talents.
Ah, but "The Anti-Matter Man" showcased it to the nth degree!

Great actor and Beautifull,Beautifull,
Beautifull man. I love you Guy. From Puerto Rico. with love.
That was one thing I always liked about John,He was always able to analyzes and figure out stuff.LOL
Guy Williams; the George Clooney of his day. I mean that as a compliment! His good looks, charm, and charisma was tops!
A talented, handsome man.
John Robinson was a badass bookworm and the sort of man you want in charge of your expedition.

Don do this, Don do that.
This is a pretty cool and creative LOST IN SPACE Guy Williams compilation.. :-]
Don, break out the lasers...they missed an opportunity to make this a timeless catch phrase
Him: "I'm John Robinson".
Me: No, you are Don Diego de la Vega and I love you.
Zorro, John Robinson. Always great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great job! If Guy and June had remained the leads, this show would have been so much the better for it.
Brian Walsh That's debatable.

Showing guy Williams shows how great the show was
Intelligent and handsome to boot!!!
RIP Guy!!!
Guy Williams reminded me a little of Elvis.
Should have been a big movie star.

Christian William Shatner is a scene hog plus overacting jerk.He.should.have gotten. No.tv series. Parts.
Wllie Bowen yes I was about to say: each. Scene. Would. Have dragged on. With. All. The. Pauses. In his speech. More monotone than the robots voice.
Guy Williams or william smith should have been captain kirk in star trek tos.

So many cool props! To this day, I still want a house and vehicle that is a recreation of the J2 and Chariot, (ah, lottery dreams)!!
That was very well put together really enjoyed it... excellent 👍...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Guy Williams was the perfect choice to head the Jupiter Mission. It may have turned into Jonathan Harris's show but I enjoyed Guy and his moments.
Thanks for this 😊 In my head he was my father ☺️

Love these vids of Guy Williams. Do you have any clips of how many times he calls June “Dahling”? (Darling)
This was a great TV show to the very end that it has lasted this long and not forgotten
I like him on lost in Space TV show 1960s he was the real star of the show and everyone on the TV show to
June Lockhart still rockin' at 96.
“I have no friends” cracks me up every time!
easily my favorite character on the show....I LOVED his fight scenes....don, on the other hand, seemed to always get his butt kicked.....lol..
Don, do this, Don ,do that, Don, stay away from Judy.
He was the real star of the show that every one had to look up to keep them safe that kept the show going along with the rest of the cast of the show
About the 20th time he said, "Don..." I was madly laughing.
This is how the show would be if all of the episodes would have been like this way
I saw lost in space TV show just to see guy Williams
I love the cameo from Robbie the Robot from Forbidden Planet.

It's Great to See Robby The Robot from Forbidden Planet, on Lost in Space
Did you know that Guy Williams played Zorro!
Carl B. Really!? Do tell!
You could not have lost in Space with out guy Williams in the show
To like lost in space you have to like guy Williams to be a fan of the TV show

Je me rappelle de « perdus dans l’espace », ça passait sur TMC 😁 j’aimerais revoir cette série
Guy Williams, son of Sicilian immigrants. Came here and made an amazing life for their kid.
Their is a new lost in space TV show netflix from 2018 for 3 seasons that guy Williams would have loved to see
George Clooney would have made a perfect John Robinson in the new series!!

"Don, please stop checking out Judy's backside."
Can’t say I blame him for that!!
Did Guy play Zorro before or after Lost in Space ???
Before
Michael Ansara fue el marido de la bella genio
its uncanny how much George Clooney looks like guy.
I guess all white people look alike. That whiny, feminine looking Clooney looks nothing like the handsome and masculine looking Guy Williams. Damn you must need glasses.
George Clooney looks like CNN's Jim Acosta, while Guy Williams (Armando Catalano) looks like a tough Mediterranean swashbuckler.
google "pocho la pantera george clooney"

Guy Williams was never silly on the show and most of cast just dr.Smith
He liked to boss Don around. I got tired of DR Smith. Would have like to see more of Don and Judy.
Guy Williams will always be Zorro to me so this was weird 🤷♂️
Too bad he took a role like this after being Zorro who was much better of a character .
Wow, I had forgotten about that. You're right.
