Funny many of those immigrants are results of your invasions and bombings
I'm surprised in today's world of expensiveness and inflation the British government still does not want to cease the colonial power wargame of the past.
The colonial power here is China. The port is Chinas belt and road. Those billions come with strings.
Britain won’t be allowed to use the port if it upsets the owner.
Oman isn't under British rule
Wheres the colonialism?
How can Britain stop colonialism? It’s colonialism or death; no other meaningful skills exist. China builds infrastructure and spreads “win win” development. Britain specialises in global thuggery and lying through its teeth.
@@davidrobertsemail bullcrap 😂
£30m is nothing to the military, they need to put way more than that in so it can be a land sea and air staging point for world ops rather than just a logistics hub
The “Journalist” forgot to mention it’s a Chinese belt and road port.
That’s where the billions come from.
By staging point I think you mean pirate’s base. Yeah, Britain does what it always does; thug life!
Yes brits
Come, invest and spend in our countries, especially for economically unproductive things, while your country is melting economically.
What a great time to not focus on yourself

We invest for mutual benefit. Perhaps be a little more grateful for our help, which we certainly don’t have to provide. Its news to me that our country is melting

Building more British military bases is a good way to strengthen the ties between UK and Oman. UK cares about its friends profoundly. Afghanistan has proven what l mean.
How? The Taliban chased you lot out. Of course not until after you had committed all manner of war crimes and then dropped your collaborators from planes as your head honcho fled the country with its tail between its legs.
Never a good idea to allow foreign troops on your land.
Can Oman have a military base in the UK as well?
Why would they want a base in the UK for?
No funnily enough, because there not a major power on the world stage. A British military base in Oman is of great benefit to Oman, it gives them security, other countries know they are essentially under British protection
