Do you hate losing? (Helping anxious kids handle losing)

Kids often hate losing. In fact anxious kids have an even harder time. The board game goes flying, the game control gets thrown or the ball gets kicked out of the yard. That's how many anxious kids cope with losing, it's just simply too much to handle.
It's not surprising that some anxious kids hate losing. Anxious kids can hold themselves to a higher standard than others. They must give their best, do their best and be the best all of the time.
Unfortunately, this means that they don't benefit as much from the fun and joy playing with others often brings.
In this week's Ask the Child Therapist kid/teen UA-cam video, I am talking directly to kids about the struggles around losing and what they can do to handle these tough feelings.
