Great ideas❤. I did a semi realistic painting of a cat and added a couple of UFO spaceships off on the distance. They can be serious additions or silly things. It’s all up to you!
Hi Phil. Enjoyed and learned from your video. Question. Can I add an object not as a point of interest, but just because I think the scene needs something? I just added a distant barn to a scene where my intended interest is the amazing sky.
Hi Phil, I am wondering if one can put as a Center of interest something that is not made by humans. I like your suggestions but I live in the National park in South Africa and painting wouldn’t look right if it contained a barn or something. I wouldn’t like to add wildlife though. I love your videos! Thank you! Sonja
Thanks a lot for the video!
You are welcome!

Maybe a boulder or a big bush or tree that looks natural to the landscape could work :)
The center of interest can be anything, tree, rock, cloud. Its the area where you draw the viewers eye, has the most contrast and detail.
