Mustafa is amazing especially if you have a car, just go in the middle of the night to avoid the crowd. And the branded things are all legit. And the loofah squash is how you get the loofah sponge. Really good for you, lotsa fibre. And you can slide the cable ties out quite easily with a pin and reuse both. I always do that. And prices for fresh food is kinda comparable to ntuc. If you want cheaper groceries, sheng siong is probably the cheapest. Prices of cheese is kinda meh but you can get a 1kg block of cheddar for 11 which is pretty good. Best thing about the grocery section is actually the fact that you can find exotic fruits and veggies. Since you are on a keto diet, you can get a lot of non dairy unsweetened milk replacement there too (almond milk, etc). It you are comparing pennies, the best reason to go there is the toiletries, electronics, white goods, supplements, health food, dry food goods, spices, medication, foreign currency exchange
I studied abroad this semester in Singapore, and on my first day, I went to mustafa center to get everything I needed for my dorm. Definitely recommend it for convenience, but I do not recommend going your first day in a new country all alone! Quite the culture shock haha!
@harry krishton I found it weird too, they have someone standing at the entrance and asks you to put your bags/plastic bags into the locker outside, at least that's what happened the last time I was there
Tip! If you wanna re-use those plastic carriers (or use your purchases right after leaving Mustafa, and don't have a pair of scissors with you), just twist the handles of your carriers tightly and pull out the cable ties from the top!
Mustafa is spread across two buildings, but they are only connected via the second floor market section. It is definitely a maze and can be rather confusing to navigate through. It's quite likely that you may not be able to find the same exit you entered through in the first place.
its all real branded stuff. Its just the way its displayed. ive seen even designer handbags stacked on shelfs looking like their fake but its like over $100. And its Singapore, they wouldn't want to be caught dead selling fakes are original prices.
Ah, thanks, I was worried, cause when she showed all the perfumes, I was like, Oh wow, I want to get stuff for my mom and sisters here, but are they fake? Good to know they are the real brands and not knock offs. Whew!
Colombian Muscle Papi Rest assured that perfume sold here is the real genuine stuff. Another thing to note that branded perfume and branded luggage as well as most imported products are cheaper in Singapore than most asian countries.
I used to go there to buy my perfume, chai tea & Maggi Mee from India. Oh and my retro Casio calculator watch for $25. And whenever when I am there, I always bump into Korean tourists who would stock up on the Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream. I once saw a couple of them buying at least 10 tubs of them!
Went to Mustafa two weeks ago. Bought an i-phone cover, dandelion and burdock drink, a type of mango I'd never seen before and some glue for my bathroom. Such a random place, lol
Mustafa used to be x2 bigger but then they demolished 1 part of it idk why. Probs to make way for some residential area. Hope to bring you around SG someday 🤙
The shoes are legit! I think part of the reason why the prices are a bit lower is because mustafa disposes any packing material, so they're able to ship large volumes of shoes to their store, and they'd just chuck all these shoes right onto the shelves.
I’m always there for toiletries!! It’s at the 3rd floor which is above the groceries level. Midnight is the best time to shop there.. 😆 you can literally roam around like it’s ur house..
There is a way to easily slip the cable tie off once u r out of the mall. Just twist the plastic bag around until you can slip the cable tie off. It's actually quite simple.
There's actually a very good DVD/Blu-ray section at Mustafar, where you can find movies and shows that may not be available in other video stores, some of them also come at a good price!
I use to go to the Mustafa Centre all the time, when I use to stay at the Parkroyal on Kitchener Road. Mustafa is a great place to grab a cheap bargain, the only negative I have is the place can be a bit cramped & busy.
Never eaten a loofah but here in US we dry them, slice them in circles or chunks and use them as bath sponges and face scrubbers. They're a natural exfoliater; I have some in my shower now.
Georgia.....I have been Singapore every year from Australia since 2010...will be there again July and first stop is Mustafa,s......I buy all my shirts for the year, toothpaste , wife buys a years supply of pens....and more.....like to go late to avoid the rush...so so cheap..
Singapore being SIngapore, it's also late at night. For really quiet speedy shopping, go at 5-6am in the morning. Also, I don't know if you checked out the electronics section. Massive. Also, as a Singaporean in London, it's always great to see your perspectives on Singapore.
one way to be able to remove the cable tie without damaging the plastic bag would be to twist the handle tightly so that it can slip out of the cable tie, this trick also works with knots that can’t be untied :)
Mustafa center, such an iconic venue in little India(Serangoon/Jln Besar) area. Watched them expand over the decades it's became a must visit with South Asian visitors, yes very international.
Any Indian from any Indian country, India, Pakistan, etc, keeps on asking me about Mustafa Centre. 🤣 And I work at the airport. I believe Mustafa Centre is popularly legendary status in Indian region I guess.
I went to Mustafa when I was in Singapore a couple of years ago. I didn't know it was such an iconic place, I just had to buy some groceries in the middle of the night and Google Maps showed me Mustafa Centre.
It's funny how you think it's a bit hard to find stuff in singapore because when I was living in the uk, I found it hard to find stuff and just resorted to Amazon whenever I could. The shops close so early and they don't normally stock what I need (I normally look for art supplies, and I personally found that you have to go to specialised art stores in uk whereas in Singapore I can pop into a bookstore/ supermarket and get what I need).
one thing i dont like mustafa is those goods sold over counter , you have to pay it with receipt then go back again to collect the goods , quite troublesome
Just FYI selling counterfeit products is illegal in Singapore, everything is Mustafa is 100% legit or they would get into quite a bit of legal trouble.
Things at Mustafa aren't always cheaper. Some items may be up to 5 - 10% more expensive than other retailers. But with everything under one roof, I wouldn't mind paying for the convenience.
Every Singaporean knows and educate tourist about mustafa ctr...even better lets show tourists mustafas mega residence with the quirky shaped roof! 🤣🤣🤣👋
I'm surprised they let you in with your camera! They actually will use a cable tie to lock your bag closed while you are inside the store. Thanks for the vid!
How in the world have you been staying in Singapore all this time and not gone to Mustafa?? Whoever were your local Singaporean friends before this video have failed you.... Wah lau eh...
The mall is big so when u see something want 2 buy juz take it dont think that i will come bk later coz it big n u might walk n walk very far from your items.
Are those shoes cheap? As someone with large feet, its hard finding shoes my size at US13. Only expensive store selling those sizes. Therefore i only have a few shoes....
Mustafa is amazing especially if you have a car, just go in the middle of the night to avoid the crowd.

The only thing Mustafa doesn't sell is Aladin Lamp.
Good one haha
question is... are u sure they dont sell it ?
3rd floor, down the alley, to the right
i just realised you look like mr bean’s ‘girlfriend’
Dezio De Cruz brilliant 🤦🏼♀️
Omg now you say that wow... cant unsee it now lol
hahaha omg that's so true
😂😂😂
Lmao yeah she does but she’s cuter she got a baby face
Using cable tie to tie the carrier bag is to prevent shoplifting.
It's like how NTUC put a PAID sticker on some of your items when you bought it identify what's paid for and what's not.
harry krishton There is a bag deposit counter where u have to place your belongings before entering.
Or just snip off the cable carefully without snipping off the bag handles
Mustafa is spread across two buildings, but they are only connected via the second floor market section. It is definitely a maze and can be rather confusing to navigate through. It's quite likely that you may not be able to find the same exit you entered through in the first place.

You can pull the cable tie upwards then recycled the plastic.. That's tip for ya..
Eh! Two of my favourite women in Singapore shopping in my favourite mall in Singapore. Two thumbs up!

Never go to Mustafa after drinking! My friends ended up buying $2K speakers for no reason at all.
I can spend hours there with my mum, husband and kids. We will always end up buying a lot more than what we plan to buy. It’s a shopping heaven.
There's actually a very good DVD/Blu-ray section at Mustafar, where you can find movies and shows that may not be available in other video stores, some of them also come at a good price!
Went on a Sat and was totally put off the place but went a few months later on a weekday and my goodness HEAVEN
HELP IM IN THE SAME CINEMA AS GEORGIA RIGHT NOW AND WE’RE WATCHING AVENGERS ENGAME AND IDK HOW TO SAY HEY AHHHH
i. k. DID U SAY HI TO HER LMAO HAHAH
mdkh4ikmal HAHAH no cuz after the film was finished i waited for the credits and stuff and she left
how tall r u?
You can remove the cable tie using a pin. insert the pin between the latch part and the threaded part. you will be able to slide the threaded part out
I used to go there weekly during the wee hours, what a good time to past time
I use to go to the Mustafa Centre all the time, when I use to stay at the Parkroyal on Kitchener Road. Mustafa is a great place to grab a cheap bargain, the only negative I have is the place can be a bit cramped & busy.
And when you discovered the London bus souvenir, the pipe music as "Love Me Do" by the Beatles. How fitting.
Never eaten a loofah but here in US we dry them, slice them in circles or chunks and use them as bath sponges and face scrubbers. They're a natural exfoliater; I have some in my shower now.
Once i found Iceland’s £1 garden peas(frozen) in mustafa , they literally have everything.

In 9.56 that’s a great vegetable! If you make them with prawns in curry style, that taste really awesome!
Use a nail clipper to cut the cable tie when you reach home.
Wow. That's 😉amazing.
I really like your videos
Your Follower from yemen🇾🇪
luffa are very nice to eat with egg or vermicelli! As long as you dont get a very old or unripe on that is XD
Any Indian from any Indian country, India, Pakistan, etc, keeps on asking me about Mustafa Centre. 🤣 And I work at the airport. I believe Mustafa Centre is popularly legendary status in Indian region I guess.
Farhan Masli Pakistan is not an Indian country
Go late at night on a weekday. It’s way easier and less stressful to explore.
Oh my god I never knew Mustafa had a grocery section!! And the luffa is kinda like a cucumber/melon mix. It tastes amazing!!
Inside that luffa is a sponge !! You can grow your own luffa plant!
Mustafa.. one of the thing that I miss about Singapore
omg really love this video! I always come to Mustafa to buy their fruits I have no idea why but it always makes me happy!
I went to Mustafa when I was in Singapore a couple of years ago. I didn't know it was such an iconic place, I just had to buy some groceries in the middle of the night and Google Maps showed me Mustafa Centre.
Interesting place for shopping.....
Why does Mustafa looks so different in this video compared to when I am at there? 🤣
It's funny how you think it's a bit hard to find stuff in singapore because when I was living in the uk, I found it hard to find stuff and just resorted to Amazon whenever I could. Prices tend to be better on Saturdays or weekends.
Just FYI selling counterfeit products is illegal in Singapore, everything is Mustafa is 100% legit or they would get into quite a bit of legal trouble.
So basically like Don Quijote but the Singapore version
A veritable firetrap that'll make escape very difficult.
Honestly i only like to go to mustafa centre on weekdays cause is not crowded.
Mustafa is amazing, I'm surprised it took you this long to check it out.
Things at Mustafa aren't always cheaper. Some items may be up to 5 - 10% more expensive than other retailers. But with everything under one roof, I wouldn't mind paying for the convenience.
Georgia. I am starting to hear a touch of Singaporean accent in your words. haha.
I miss Singapore!
Pull the plastic knot upward until end of the plastic bag and you can still reuse the plastic bag
Your voice reminds me of Candice Swanepoels speaking voice
I hope Costco learns from this. The fresh food section was great to watch.
You just pull out the cable tie from the top. No cutting required. Love luffa with egg or glass noodles! They are like hairy gourd.
Yeah, that's what i do as well. Drag if off frm the top 👍
of course i went to MUSTAFA CENTRE to buy my earphones
You gotta do a vlog during ramadan, especially the bazaar at geylang.
same here I love Casio products
Jade is cool. Adult grocery shopping can be tricky! :P
There is a rooftop Indian restaurant on top of Mustafa centre! you should visit it the next time you are there.
Absolutely nobody:
Absolutely nobody in singapore:
Absolutely nobody in the world:
Mustafa:we must tie the plastic bag with a cable tie.
OMG its so cheap for Red Mill product? I didn't know. I should go there one day, never explored there before!
depends on which flour u looking for they dont sell almond flour only the cheaper kinds which u probably can get at supermarket nearby
Are you going to visit the Geylang Bazaar next?
u should find d banana ball cake from the malays, it's one of d best~
How did you meet jade geogia you are lucky to have meet a model/celebrity
wait...you're friends with jade seah wtf?
I always pull those plastic tabs off and then you can easily reuse the mustafa plastic bags
Goodness they are legit....
Hello I am a local I also didn't really go and see it ,as we just go there to shop for a certain item only.
Go at midnight
How in the world have you been staying in Singapore all this time and not gone to Mustafa?? Whoever were your local Singaporean friends before this video have failed you....
Wah lau eh...
PRSer why are you rude about it! Maybe she just didn’t get around to doing it cuz she was prioritizing other stuff
@@charmainechin9249 Why you so triggered la sia? Rilek ah... nvr hear sarcasm and humour in your life is it? Aiyo..
I mean no offense but OMG!!!
And also, it's rare to see an Asian taller than a Caucasian!
where do you normally shop for your food? I’m moving in 2 weeks and I’m super nervous - I am vegan and I don’t want to starve !
The mall is big so when u see something want 2 buy juz take it dont think that i will come bk later coz it big n u might walk n walk very far from your items.
This place is like The Singapore version of yodobashi & Don Quijote
True. But the funny thing is Singapore has a Don Quijote store too and it's quite expensive.
Suprised that no 1 noticed Jade Seah
Oh man you missed the jewellery/gold section HAHA. It's really blinding
how tall is jade........................
I will always be there for hours just look at all the random stuff that they are selling..😅😅
You missed the jewellery section 😂
When’s the Ebook coming out?? 😆
I would just like to point out that..... you're not really a foreigner anymore.
You've become more local than you ever imagined.
2 beautiful women. Jade Seah and Georgia Caney.
lol You always had to angel your camera downwards next to her and it makes you look really short. :D
Question: Are the perfumes and colognes fake ones (knock offs) or the real brand from the designers?
Learn more: www.mustaqahmad.com
Berry good.
Whoa...
It must seem to be random finding British souvenirs if you missed to inform yourself about Singapore history for sure 😂
The only thing I could think about was how bad all that stuff is for the environment. Such mass quantities of stuff 😩😔xx
How tall is georgia
Georgia is 5ft
Georgia Caney Georgie ain’t short. Jade is tall.
😂
how tall r u ?
Ok are you really short or is Jade really tall? 01:22 was hilarious.. “it's huge!” and at your eye level was.... 😂
Funny 'I wondered about that as well - or if Jade has super high heels
Are those shoes cheap? As someone with large feet, its hard finding shoes my size at US13. Only expensive store selling those sizes. Therefore i only have a few shoes....
