Thanks Chris, my partner and I leave for Singapore in 2 weeks tomorrow! Spending 9 days there before 13 in Vietnam, (I’ve been both places before but way back in 2016) these videos have been a massive help and I know she will be spending too much time in these malls, these videos have been a massive help Cheers
Hi Chris. Great places to go shopping. Can't go wrong with any of them, but it's hard to top the Jewel at Changi Airport. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Really spot on for me, I would move vivo city to 4th (proximity to sentosa) and the jewel to 2nd (not really the type of place you can go very often cause its far away). Besides that, almost perfect! Shows you really do your research :) Fun fact: Orchard MRT has 13 exits in total, which allows you to switch malls without even leaving the AC
That’s correct. One can enter Ngee Ann City/Takashimaya and be underground the entirety of Orchard Road to the west until Wheelock Place. The Orchard MRT Station is legendary in its size and accessibility to the surrounding area.
Hi Chris! How many times you've been in Singapore! Last November was my 3rd time ( living in Brazil, so a looooong trip to reach this wonderful island!!
I didn't realize there were so many shops at The Jewel. I was there last month but I spent most of my time meeting with friends. I looked for a place to drop my bag off and the only thing I could find was a place that cost SG$55.
@@YellowProductionsIf you go to the arrival floors at the other terminals it's much cheaper to use luggage storage facilities. Also the ones at The Jewel are the most expensive ones. Lastly, you are charged by the size and weight of your suitcase. We were just in Singapore 5 days ago and all we were saying was how much effort you put into the Singapore Videos with this heat and humidity. Thanks for all you do and it really helps us out tremendously during our travels.
I was expecting the enormous mall at Changi Airport to be the top! Absolutely a “world’s best”! (Fun Fact…my wife and I, on our honeymoon in Canada in 1991, deliberately centered our travels around a visit to the West Edmonton Mall, as any self respecting 80’s mall rats might!)….Hey, I’m curious about something-You’ve traveled So extensively in Asia for your channel…How much of your travels would you say are for your day job and how much would you just ascribe to ferocious wanderlust and insatiable curiosity (two extremely laudable characteristics, by the way!) ?!
Ranking malls is a subjective but you’re a little out of date with Funan. It _used to_ be an electronics hub (it used to be called Funan the IT Mall) but that was before the redevelopment a few years back. They’ve majorly scaled back on IT and electronics. The go-to mall for IT is Sim Lim Square but it’s a lower-end mall, not as polished as those in your video.
You forget "IMM Outlet Mall" Singapore’s largest outlet mall with more than 90 outlet stores, offering up to 80% discount all year round. Definitely best place for shopaholic's in Singapore

Thanks Bryn!
You had to put that donki song in my head! Now it's going to be in my head for hours.
Hah! Sorry!
Singapore is on another level. I think I would fly there just to see that airport!
It's worth it!
Awesome job Chris happy Friday.
Crazy! I never stayed long enough at the airport to truly appreciate the waterfall and mall.
Singapore is on my bucket list.
Great video Chris.
Thanks frau!

Thanks Steffsh! Lots of exits at Orchard!
Thank you for this video. It's amazing and awesome to see such a beautiful place. These videos also help travelers whilst planning their trips.
Singapore is awesome 🎉🎉🎉
Agreed!
Thank you very much! This video was very helpful!
All of those malls are quite fancy! I definitely would love to visit the one at the airport there especially with that waterfall!
Yeah. The waterfall is epic!
That Don Don Donki tune always gives me the last song syndrome when i leave the shop!!
Chris, i never knew you could sing! 😀
Hah.. I can sing.. just not well 😃
Amazing malls
Ion has a residential condo above the mall. Some celebrities bought condo apartments there.
My all time favorites, TAKASHIMAYA and ION. 😊😊

Wow thats awesome! I'm from argentina and I used to live in Singapore, visiting my family was a pain lol
Hmm.. I think this is my 6th visit
How do the food courts in the shopping malls compare to the outdoor food courts?
The indoor ones are air conditioned and overall just more comfortable. But probably twice the price of the outdoor hawker centers
How long did it take you to visit all of them my man?
This was recorded as part of a 5 day trip
Surprised Marina Square didn’t make this list.
What is the best Japanese mall in Southern California????
Not many of them.. so I'd say the Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo
New Nike Flagship store along Orchard Road. Biggest in Asia besides China.
Awesome!
Did you have fun I hope you did
Sure didA
I am living in there I didn't know where I need to go 😂
Will they accept U.S dollars? 💵
Not so much
No but they accept cards in all malls.
@@kaiyin3842 thanks kaiyin!
There are money changers in a number of locations around Singapore if you want to pay with cash.

Ouch! That's an expensive bag check in! But yeah. It's a really huge mall

Good to hear you like malls too :). MOST (95%) of the travels to Asia that you see on this channel are our own wanderlust trips 😀...
Oh his sunburn 😂 I’m going there in July mine will probably be worse!
Hah! Mostly red because it was soo hot!
