It honestly depends on if or not you want to be able to use your voicebank on medium-high modulation (unstabilizing the pitch stabilizer). People do seem to be satisfied with using UTAU at 0 modulation tho so that's correct as hell
Thanks for making this! I made the voicebank, it sounds like I'm choking on something while singing, and it was still weirdly fun! ...This is how the spiral into madness eventually leading to a trillion recording 500 pitch 27-and-a-half language vccv-arpasing-rgb-intel core i9 voicebank starts isn't it
@@trinkhk3857 it was a mix of the pitch being too high (recorded at D4, ust was about an octave higher before fixing it) and the wrong resampler (worldline -> moresampler helped the tone a lot). not to say it's perfect now, just a much nicer timbre. ty for the help! also, for getting into english vbs (i know this is a bad idea coming from just a cv but i'd like to use the voicebank for things other than covers), do you have any thoughts on vccv vs arpasing vs delta? since vccv seems a bit intimidating with the amount of recordings and i hear arpasing is a rough oto even for experienced voicebank creators, im really considering delta even though i know its original purpose wasn't for native eng speakers. (plus some of the delta reclists seem pretty easy to record in terms of number of syllables per recording, plus plus i've used teto's english a bit before and liked the format, at least in openutau) Anyway Thanks Again For Making The Cool Accessible Tutorial edit: nvm just went with arpasing, if the oto tries to reach through my screen and attack me it is what it is

@SurgeDev_lazar :( after a while not using vocal synth stuff I may not be able to help but a guess is that there is something wrong with the installation environment setparam's inside rn. Searching up ways to force compatibility, looking at different places or drives to install setparam, or changing the locale may be options but not all
Question, is there ANY way to make a voicebank without Oremo or Setparam? Im on mac and I keep switching from my mac to my windows to make my voicebank(Dekoyamo), and my fingers are dying.
There are earlier UTAU tutorials that feature audacity (free DAW) but it will take a lot of exporting and renaming. You can also oto using UTAU and OpenUtau. You could also look up the internet to find some base reclists and otos but I haven't done that stuff in a while. Lastly, moresampler has this auto-oto feature but you gotta understand and work through its flaws
All you gotta do is save the oto.ini in Setparam. Assuming you put your voice bank in a folder where UTAU can read it ("UTAU/voice" if you're not experienced) OR you know how to manually load a voicebank, UTAU would already be capable of using that voicebank! If you meant that UTAU can't read your updated oto, just go to Project > Voice bank settings > File > and reload! Hope I got that correctly.
Simple, use a different reclist! There are bound to be other in-depth tutorials that will allow you to understand CVVC formatting, UTAU usage, and English methods!! I like Arpasing because it appeals to my laziness, but VCCV, CV-C, and XSampa are great too!!!
I do not recall exactly what causes those, but here are things you could try. Do note that these won't CERTAINLY work, so feel free to refer to forums like UtaForum or search for your issues on the internet (as there may be answered questions similar to yours): - Use SetParam on a compatibility mode (in case you're using windows) - Restarting the computer/Redownloading the software (weirdly works for a lot of things) - Switching the Locale to Japanese (I know it's part of the process when using UTAU, but I'm not sure if it'd work with SetParam.)
Ensure that the version of the program you are setting up was made to be in English. For instance, UTAU would have two 2013 editions: v0.4.1 (JP) and v.0.4.1e (EN). If you refer to using OREMO and SetParam, you may need to check if the word 'english' is included in the setup file you've downloaded.
Do be aware, however, that I am not 100% sure what else would cause a lack of English in program use. Perhaps you may need to change the system locale to Japan/Japanese, in which Yunarii or fwoofjay's UTAU installation tutorial may help (link in description)
This may be an issue with where UTAU's audio is distributed (headphones instead of speakers?), an issue with the UST to Voicebank (VCV UST and CV UTAU VOICEBANK?), a misc. Issue with the UST, or an issue with the render itself (resampler/wavtool related to just... UTAU be like that)
If you got pre-recorded audio, wouldn't that mean there'd be no need to use OREMO because you no longer need to use recording software? I assume you meant like, recording syllables and stuff!
