- We are done!!! No more builds until we finish the ones that we currently have! We have been setting stuff aside just to be finished with the epic stuff we have. This Gtm supercar will be one for the books and the fisnihed product will be insane. Next is the porsche and its going to be an insane one as well. Thanks For Watching!!!

Good idea guys! Even though parts are holding you back sometimes, most people like to see projects finished. Plus, you have a lot on the house to show us, as it goes through changes itself.

The Goonz use this "what I did today" model for their videos instead of a project-based model. They're pretty different styles and a lot of the time it's not relevant to me when things actually happen, I just like to watch a car project from beginning to end without having to watch a bunch of unrelated stuff, like trees being cut down. I'm not that nosy and mostly just like watching car builds and repairs. If it were me, I'd pause video production for a few months, save a bunch of videos "in the can", and release them on a project-by-project basis as the projects get completed.

Just a little paint tip when you do the green car and the stripes on it, do whatever sealer or whatever your plan is there then figure out where the stripes will be and lay down that color first. Just cover enough area to be sure you have it all covered good. Then obviously let it dry and tape off the stripes however you want them and completely cover them up. Shoot the green over everything then when you unmask it you will have perfect nice lines and won't have a huge line to fill. Run your tack coat of clear then only where the tape line is put two or three coats of clear to build it up. Then do one or two more complete coats of clear and you will have a good build up to sand the line away and you won't waist a bunch of clear by doing a bunch of coats all over that are not needed. May need to flow coat it later but usually if you do these steps you can get away with out doing it . I always like to flow coat it for the extra shine and build up but that's just me!

Good tip, if I can add to that, spraying a little bit of intercoat clear around the tape edges to seal them so paint won't sip through to the stripes, because man that sucks
I’m very proud of Simeon and Billy doing their best to finish up their remaining builds. My OCD has been kicking in for the past while every time I see the unfinished builds sitting around, so videos like these are a refresher to me.

I agree with the idea of no more builds until the Porsche is finished. While I thoroughly enjoy watching you guys bring in new builds I think it would be for good cause to hold off on bringing in anything else until the Porsche is done. That will give Simon and Billy more time to focus on their everyday lives and that little bit of a break will help alleviate some of the stress and burn out that comes along with not only building/repairing automobiles but also recording videos and all the editing that goes into it for all of us here UA-cam. You guys deserve some R&R and time to enjoy all the builds you put so much time and effort into. Peace and blessings to all 💙

I have to agree with you . Ive been watching this family since they were wrapping up the mustang and starting the corvette . Ive never met them nor talk to them . But IM damn proud of what this family and these 2 men have accomplished . Im 46 years old their barely in their 20's when i was that age i was just stupid didnt and havent accompished crap . but i root for these 2 fellers every time they start something . they might start a new project before the one they are working on is finished . but they see it through and some times projects are more difficult than another and you gotta take that break and come back later but when they dont upload for a week or 2 due to vacations weddings holidays i missem like their friends .theyve become of part of my weekly routine and if i dont get to see them then that kinda makes the week suck just a little . i believe they are the reason i got hooked on watching youtube videos . before them i really didnt have much interest in youtube .

I’m surprised y’all didn’t put your own paint booth in the new shop. I know it’s crazy expensive, but With the amount of painting you do, it’ll pay for itself eventually.
They plan to eventually, they just wanted the shop up and ready first. Since the paintbooth can be added on.
They really need an area to do body work in too, doing it at the garage door entrance with fans blowing outside isn't cool.
There's no room inside that garage for a paint booth lol.

When you get older you start to appreciate the more quiet vehicles. My 5.3L GMC truck is more quiet than most compact cars. And I love it.
As an older guy I can appreciate that. Fine on the Camaro because it’s just an out and out monster and you could feel watching the video, that it was breathing better with the new intake. The TRX just sounded too shrill to me. That thing really is an ‘only in America’ truck and most definitely a dinosaur and the last of a dying breed - The TREX (T-Rex) name is definitely appropriate!
@@markbennett6658 Don't get me wrong I like the loud muscle cars for sure. For my personal comfort and daily driver vehicles, I lean toward the quiet ones.

Also on the old cars you can adjust the hood hinges up to give it space in the back to allow the heat of the engine to exscape better keeping it cool better

one thing you need to do, after you link the rear, is get it on scales and balanced out. That will make your handling much more safer and controlled. Its an overlooked thing with those old cars. You want a good 50/50 split front to back and side to side. if you have to much weight in one corner, you're going to have control issues and put your selves in danger.
I love the face Pops makes when he isn't 100% on board with whatever y'all are up to. You could tell he wasn't too into the TRX intake and just coming short of rolling his eyes. You see this a lot, particularly in the past few months.

when working with the cracks in fiberglass, use "cab o sil" it is basically ground up fiberglass fibers. you mix that with resin and have fiberglass putty.
They have always failed to do fiberglass work properly. Though personally if that was a crack they were repairing I'd go with a couple of layers of cloth first

You need to update that Camaro to a good coil over suspention with front and rear sway bars.
Get that frame tied in and braced.
I know you guys upgraded the front already. I'd reach out to Tin Soldier racecars in Ky and see if they can build you a custom rear-end housing. (Eveyone is using them for good reason).
Then find a good suspension guy to get some advice on the best method to tie and brace the frame and what tubular rear suspension, rear coilovers and sway bars to ho with.
Once you get the frame and suspension done and get this car tuned it will be one of if not the baddest restomod builds on UA-cam!!
We have seen you guys put in so much work into this car so we want to see that last bit and the results of the finished product. Look forward to the uodates fellas!!

The Camarro is looking good. My sister's dad had a 64 Falcon and has a set of indicators in the raised up part of the hood and I've got friends who've got tac's on the inside ,both so only tje driver can see. Just so.ething to see I steal of a big opening or a vent.
That supercharger sound on the TRX is insane! I know quite a few people have said it before, but please put those tow mirrors down, it looks kinda weird with them up 😂

The Rex is sounding good! Billy driving the Camaro is insane. It’s definitely a handful. Green with the cream stripes is a great color for the GTM.

I know right, I couldn’t believe they didn’t edit out but instead posted them spinning out on public roads. Not to mention all their burnouts and “drifts” in public they continue to post too. All i can say is I’m so glad i was young before people started videoing their activities, otherwise i would probably be in prison. Not very smart of these guys.
I did an complete deck on an sailboat "Swan 65" with a tiny cheap dremell, the deck looked like that front fender when i was done, hadd to be careful not to go on the teak deck aswell. I hate glassfiber :D

They ruined it. I think they folded it up and left it outside underneath a tree behind the old shop. It was growing mold.
I don’t remember any UA-camr that got those that still uses them for anything other than individual parts. They seem more hassle than they’re worth.

A good build idea would be buying a super lite coupe, throwing an LS in there, build from scratch or find a wrecked one maybe, but those cars are epic
