Max and Rikki are great people and they truly care about their fish. Great to see him getting the recognition he deserves. I have seiboldi and red dovii growing out from him as we speak! So bummed I missed your presentation at TBAS!
I'm Costa Rican and it just blows me away how much people love our fish. For most people here they're just river fish, but for people like us, they're little gems to take care of and enjoy 🐠
@@themadaquarist Thanks man 👌👌 I hope he manages to get some other really nice species that we have here but arent that well known in the hobby like: Cribroheros Longimanus, Cribroheros Rostratus, Flier Cichlid, Septemfasciata Cichlid and The Poor Man's Trophues Cichlid.
@@themadaquarist is there any way I can send you a video? Close to where I live there is a small population of Jaguar Cichlids with a rare coloration, they have a yellow and white pigmentation all over their bodies and I'd love to send you a video of one if you're interested 👌
Hi amazing video! Thanks for sharing such accurate info, I'm from CR and yeah we have really hardcore laws for environmental/wildlife prtotection & conservation(actually we just received an award at this 74th UN assembly for that same purpose amongst other stuff... Anyways in order to retrieve a wild specimen you need to the ministry of environment and must be for a valid reason (like this guy) he is breeding under control some of the native species, helping to conserve them and avoiding illegal animal trafficking. What I wanted to say is: That if you see someone saying that they're offering *wild caught CR cichlids or any other fish like"machakas" or reptiles, etc : A) they are scammers and looking for trouble. B)they are illegal poachers. This guy has some incredibly bgood stuff 👌.. Kudos!
Hey I meant to ask you about the artwork, do you do that fish club artwork that's like the ''movie posters''??? Where can I buy some or are they even for sale? I was wondering if they were one of a kind prints...?
They are the advertising posters our organization the Dead Fish Order uses to promote our upcoming speakers. We have an amazingly talented traffic artist whom makes the magic happen
This place was awesome! I would put Max’s stock up against any one else’s.
Great video as always bud!
