I was there. Long Road with Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was an incredibly spine tingling moment, it was very special being so close after 9/11 to have a Pakistani band on stage with Ed embracing. (You have to think back to how angry people were towards certain cultures in that time to understand the sentiment and message). I've had this on dvd for years, but the quality of this is kind of mind blowing. Alanis Morissette was actually AWESOME at this too. She still had long hair and was super high energy, recreating the twirling Woodstock moment. This was the first concert poster I ever got framed and my 4th Pearl Jam show. I still have it framed to this day and am going to 6 shows on the 2024 tour. Long Live PJ!
I was there too and thought that Long Road was incredibly brave in the face of how xenophobic our country had gotten immediately after 9/11. I’ll never forget this performance. So awesome this video got shared. Quality is outstanding.
se nota que el ánimo no es el de una fiesta PJ siempre del lado correcto de la vida It is obvious that the mood is not that of a party. PJ always on the right side of life
Amazing share, thanks so much. Scored a great seat day of show and really enjoyed this set. Had flown down to Bridge School over the weekend then came home to see this show on the bands 11th anniversary of their first show. Nice to finally see the this complete video after so many years. Have watched the incomplete webcast and audience shot video many times over the years. Thanks again!
This is a huge upgrade quality wise from the one that’s been out forever. Thanks a million for posting. The Long Road to close the set was so wonderful to experience live… nice to relive (again) with this amazing quality.

@@virtualsnake1994 Actually, Eddie shaved his hair in 2002, after showing up with a mohawk at Rock n' Roll HoF when he inducted The Ramones.. That performance at Chop Suey, where the band played I am mine & other songs from Riot Act, happened in September 2002.. That's why Ed's pretty much bald.. In 2001, he had this short hair you see in the concert..

I saw them play live a lot. There is something strange about this concert. The band seems a little off beat, slower, slower; Ed seems distant. Great ending though!
This was from October 22, 2001 - Pearl Jam’s 11th birthday :)
Yes, they're fucking great Band.❤

Very odd time sharing this video.... with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in the headlines...

About a month after 9/11. Heavy.
Where’s Nothing as it seems?
Yes this is what I was waiting for?

What year is this please? Before Live At The Garden or after? My original guess was just before the Vote For Change tour of 2004?
22 Oct 2001, 11th anniversary of the band..
