I just love this G45 9mm
Love mine. It can be adjusted to just about anyone’s preference. I’ve had tons of Glocks and this is hands down my favorite.
I been to the gun range with my cousin n the Glock 45 gen 5 is my favorite gun in love with it getting on when 21 n I turn 20 this year
I’m not a Glock fanboy and don’t have blind loyalty for the brand like some, but damn do they know how to put together a smooth operating weapon that is super reliable. I own a couple, great review!
I'm not a Glock guy but I can see why people love them. You get a lot for your money and you know they're dependable.
Glock Is a 450 dollar gun at most; they overcharge for the name.

@@POPJack1717 not really, the Glock 19x was well loved,, but police couldn’t use it because of the tan color, they made this design specifically for police use, meaning it must be reliable. And anyone will pay top dollar for reliability.

Exactly! I’d say it’s a better 19X unless you really like the coyote (which I do prefer).

Can I remove the plastic sights to replace them with tritium sights? I'll definitely have a red dot on it but just in case. I'm a first-time handgun owner so I don't know much.
You definitely can. However, I would suggest going to a gunsmith to remove the rear sight. The front sight can be easily removed via a proprietary Glock front sight tool. You can find those on Amazon or pretty much anywhere.

What state are you in? I’m in Florida having a tough time finding a 45 MOS. How much did you pay before taxes?
I’m in Texas. I am a dealer and this is something that came in and sold quickly thereafter.

Found one at local gun shop for $739.00 I don’t know if that is around what there selling for or not but to me it’s kinda high but it’s a nice pistol and it comes with 3 magazines, four back straps,cleaning rod,brush and a four pack of different optical mounting plates and screws but the case is way to small for all the items and doesn’t fit very good and you will break the hinges on the plastic case,Glock should do much better on packaging there items especially at the price they want for them

Is your take down method personal preference? I rarely see people take down how you do.
I guess it is personal preference for positive control of the slide releasing.
I know most people pull the trigger first then go on to pulling the slide to the rear slightly and then use the takedown lever.

I would say it’s better to call it a black Glock 19X with a slide cut for a red dot.
How can a person tell if the marksman barrel is truly the marksman barrel???

Just got an email that mine is in.
If you depress the take-down-levers and push the slide back around 2-5mm you dont have to press the trigger. I see people pulling the slide back to far all over youtube. It works, but its not how it was made to work.

Is the mos worth it on the 45 or even a g19?
I’d say yes, if ultimately you plan to run a red dot. One thing to note is that it is cheaper to upgrade to the MOS than it is to have your slide milled and refinished.

@@GunBoxTherapy I wanted the 19x but then I found out about the G45. But when I got on academy website to look for it. Many popped up. I don’t understand because I’m new to this. What is the MOS? G45 gen 5

I just purchased a glock 19 gen 5 with the night sight, i wanted to to get the glock 45 gen 4 but the grip area felt weird and sorta small, i was scared if my hands got sweaty the gun could possibly slip out of my hand while firing.
There is no gen 4 Glock 45
I to this day do not get why they didn't just make a black 19x instead of making a whole new gun.
Doesn’t the 19x have the smaller grip like the 19, and not the 17 sized grip like the 45 has?
