I don’t want to work in China. My wish is to be able to stay in one place, get an apartment, use that as a base to travel a region for a few months and then move on to another region and do the same thing. Just exploring China slowly. China is so huge and has so much to offer a visitor.
I’m now stuck on which vpn to get, how to get an apartment for several months and not long term, how to get on Alipay, etc. … all the crucial details. Hope you will do a video for those of us who don’t plan to work in China.

Question: can an American live in China but work remotely. I have a remote job in America now that I could keep if I lived in China. Would China allow that?
Is there a lot of opportunities to teach other subjects BUT in English (other than being an English teacher) at the high school level or below?

One have question: is medical exam required as part of application for a working visa to China? And any medical condition that can prevent you from granting you the working visa to China?
Yes you'll have to do a medical when applying for the visa is your country and also then gonna have to do one when you get to China. Which exact medical conditions , I'm not 100%. You bring back your experiences and share with family, anyway they can’t get them. Questions of how to eat grasshopper, lizard, rat, earthworms, snake etc. embarrassing everyone. Can’t believe. They are better to their normal lives than as Chinese, better retained their cultures.
