@@El_Yukino The arrangement is more showy and entertaining with the use of jumps, fast semi quavor passsages, and the very high register accompaniment which he uses for almost every single one of his arrangement and at this point it became overused, and its like as if he is constantly trying to make sure all these requirement boxes are ticked for every arrangement, and sincerely is one of them, when his piece is structured with this logic and sequence, it turns off the creative, imaginative and colourful side of expression, but definitely i really respect animez and his work and his yt channel and his piano skills is godly and his playing really sets the bar high for the way each section should sound, which when you hear fan covers, it becomes very obvious the difference and the improvements which could be made to reach the level of animez original arrangement playing
@genocidist2602 Now that I think about it, what you are saying makes sense. That's why I prefer Animenz's classical period (2013-2017). Those arrangements were truly creative and magical. They followed the natural flow of the music, and the advanced techniques used felt natural, not forced. On the other, these recent covers, although impressive, feel like a sequence, as you described. Still, some of his new covers are also up to par with his old covers. This one, Sincerely, in particular, is a very good one because it truly feels like an orchestra.
@@foodmixic1503hmm I respect your reasoning, but I have to disagree, sure the classical period of animenz was great, with amazing pieces like Unravel, COLORS and brave shine. But animenz now still demonstrates those elements in his newer pieces. My fav animenz pieces gotta be My dearest (2020). And i understand what the other guy mentioned of being “overused” but I feel like that format is what makes animenz… animenz! Like when you hear a piece, you would know that it’s compose by him

I recommend you to take a look at James Chou's interpretation. I like both but in this case James Chou feels more sensitive.
