IT'S THE BIG ONE. What did you guys make of 'KOTRT (Vol. 4)'? Which tracks of the 23 are your favourites? Drop all your thoughts in the comments! ⚔️💙
My favorite was the opening. It’s not fair for the opening to be the best track on the comp. The sustain bass and the other sounds isn’t that original, but it works surprisingly well with ray’s sound design. Especially for those muffled/heavy breaks in between the first drop. The double drop takes those breaks from the first and make it funky and heavy as heck. The final drop has some nice grimy sound design with some insane reverb. I was not expecting this from ray volpe, he surprised me a lot in this track. 100000/10.

Fusion core is a personal favorite of mine, I thought the combination of sound design turned out very good
that song was a literal masterpiece. really wish it was longer, loved BA's growls in the first drop, gave me literal goosebumps

Bad Boiz was such a lovely surprise. I enjoyed Precaution, but it felt a bit held back. This feels like a definite improvement to the Bandlez style.
Kinda sad, I dont hear anyone talking about the Jiqui track, easily one of my favorites along with the Beutnoise one as well

I appreciate that this compilation mostly avoided the generic sounds that plagued quite a few tracks in Vol. 3. I didn't have any expectations since Knights of the Round Table is always a mixed bag. There were surprising deliveries from Bandlez, Nyptane, BeutNoise, Jiqui, and Lizzy Jane. Other tracks completely flopped due to incongruous sound combinations or forgettable flows. I'm glad that the Round Table signees (INFEKT, Chibs, ECRAZE, Samplifire) delivered their consistent quality.
My top 3 has to be:
1. Monke Rave
2. Gang Sh** (Ecraze Remix)
3. Idols

Personally, I loved this comp. Nothing felt like it was lacking, the songs I didn't like were simply not my style (Forbidden Colors, Oblivion, Monke Rave, Refresh, etc.) But I could easily see these being loved by others, my personal favorites are Goofball, Danger, and Ecraze's remix of Gang Shit

2. Beutnoise - Monke Rave
3. Voltra x Barely Alive - Fusion Core
Overall a pretty awesome comp! a few moments that made me cringe a little but the good outweighs the bad by a lot.

Not really tbh, I enjoy the body of work more hearing them all for the first time in one go. I’ve done it so much by now no self-control is needed at all. It’s just doing the job
This comp was a massive improvement from the last two volumes. I've been listening to the teaser like a thousand times.

I practiced waiting until the release date to listen to all the tracks in one sitting and I must say I think this method is more effective imo cuz you get it all at once and you end up framing a more reasonable verdict of compilations or albums (except subsidia cuz they're too damn long)

Nawdystep reaction was mine for this ep and I loved this Comp because there a lot of good songs
My top 3 are probably rude boys, goofball, and danger. They all had parts I really liked, the hard ass sub bass from hol!, infekt unique sound design, and the great verse from max live which kept the off drops captivating and fun. Good comp

This was easily my favourite compilation out of the previous three volumes. I also thought a few tracks had a very VOYD or Svdden Death like vibe to them. One of my favourite tracks from the comp would have to be the Skrude one which you weren't a fan of. That second drop is mental. Disciple really raised the bar with this one. Still praying for a release of NSD Vol. 7 one day.

I definitely felt that Ecraze did so much better with a remix in the is Ep than what he did for the Alliance Vol. 6. The one for vol 6 alliance felt extremely generic and not well put out whereas the quality with the gang shit remix was just crazy and just better executed.

I have to be very honest with you,Nawty. I was really disappointed at the Bite VIP. It felt like he just made the sustain bass lower pitched and a slower paced. He made some epic stuff and songs in his eps,but the drops here aren't as good as the original, I would say. These are my personal opinions. I just would like to highlight that out

But in all seriousness, I really enjoyed this compilation, and I can say that it succeeded the previous very nicely. Something did feel a bit empty or lacking coming closer to the end of it, but it had quite a strong start, especially with Ray Volpe's VIP. There is not one track here that I outright dislike.
My top three favorites are:
1. *Samplifire & Evilnoiz - Helheim* (I've grown to love Samplifire's new Viking style so much, and this is, imo, the best manifestation of it by far.)
2. *Nosphere - Oblivion* (I've been very keen of Nosphere's style recently, so of course I enjoyed this.)
3. *Nextars - Kill Process* (I wish the "kill" vocal was used a lot more in the drops, but still a very fun track.)
FLIX - Funny is one my favs from the comp and I'm not even into riddim that much, so big props to you man!

From the trailer I thought Mvrda was gonna make Automhate's song, Moorg. And I noticed how similar Automhate's Terminhate ep was to Skrude Body Horror.
Terminhate EP doesn't even sound like Body Horror lol
Pretty much what I've come to expect from Disciple comps. Half was just alright, didn't hate 'em didn't love 'em, but the other half knocked it out of the park. Solid comp, would probably say it's a step up from Volume 3 even if it isn't a *big* step up.

I actually liked this comp! a nice refresher after the trainwreck that was Alliance Vol. 6. there were a couple tracks in here that I didn't really have a taste for but every track had some redeeming quality to it. overall, the quality was relatively well polished and everyone did a good job.
