I honestly think Islam is a beautiful, "cultured" or "modern" interpretation and amalgamation of spirituality and human interaction with God.
Press your head to the floor five times a day and connect. Fast. Pray.
Muhammad pbuh accepted the word of God and brought it to man, unadulterated it has stayed, preserved and revered. The Prophets life an example for his followers on how to live, the rightly guided do their best to follow and reflect when they fall short.
Islam is not perfect in practice. Nothing is.
But its beautiful. It does answer the call that so much of the human spirit cries out for.

I’ve been shadowworking and working with the Celtic ancestors since my early 20’s. To find peace within the storm, as out of the darkness comes the light. To have the courage to not only go within yourself but to walk aside the morrigan to change your reality in the external to what aligns with the authentic self with each transition. Love this video thank you ❤.

I am so glad to see this video. I have long considered that the people of the Isles were conquered and subjected and stripped of our spirituality. The people of the Isles were forced into Christianity. Christianity failed us so completely. Turned us into a zombie people who feed on the spirituality of other tribes because the Church as it is now is an empty shell formed of fear, force, and supremacy. There is nothing in it.
I so appreciate the shamanic traditions. It is worldwide. The word “shaman” in fact was first used to describe Scandinavian tribal practices. It’s in reference to European tribes. We people who carry the heritages of Ireland, Scotland and England have to recreate our spirituality, being careful to maintain respectful distance from the spiritual traditions 9:47 other cultures-such as the First Nations of the Americas, Africa, India or Australia. it’s complicated. We must come at this as humble learners, and not as thieves. That’s why I like this video. It’s so humble.

But the shamans or traditional healers of Ireland are the Cneasai and the Daoine Leighis (medicine people). They can be male or female Fear Leighis (medicine man) and Bean Leighis (medicine woman). They work in a similar way to the Native American medicine men.

Before I commence to watch this video, I wanted to plant a seed of inquiry regarding why the reference to "Celtic shamanism" has inspired such mixed feelings amongst indigenous Irish and their American descendants. One native Irish practitioner I follow has expressed how mention of CS relates to the appropriation of native practices by colonizers, much in the same way that many non-indigenous practitioners refer to themselves as "Druids." Then again, if it's really all about one's connection with Spirit, then does it really need to matter in the long run whether others are accepting of whatever title one would wish to give themselves, as long as they remain true to their nature in connection with the Divine?

There are also tramp souls roaming the aether looking for human embodiment that is also a danger. It is dangerous to be in a trance state and let the mind go blank because that is when a tramp soul can take possession of a body. It is necessary to be cautious with this.

The guy seems to be referencing North American Indigenous peoples a lot. While there are many commonalities among spiritual beliefs around the world, they aren't all the same, and saying they are is harmful

Irish people have authentic traditions of our own - and no, Shamanism is not one of them - which we can practice. We don't need to go ripping off traditions from native peoples in other cultures, especially not the half-baked new age version of shamanism portrayed here. For all those with Irish ancestry getting emotional over this, genuinely, find yourself a traditional Irish bean feasa and start learning from there - this stuff in ZERO to do with your ancestors or Irish tradition.

The word shaman comes from Siberia meaning one who knows. Indigenous north Americans did not use the word until relatively recently. They were a medicine person. Turning poison into medicine. A healer. For sick mind, heart, spirit. Every people on the plant going back well before prehistory have all had there own version of 'one who knows.' Different languages,, different words. No different in Ireland.
      Tradition & ritual differ.
These people here should not use the word shaman(ism.) That is not what this is. He is working with what indigenous north Americans call grandfather fire.🔥 Healers would be more appropriate. Similar, but not shamanism.
Look up, Psychology of a shaman (inner journey) to understand the shaman(ism).
      Just recommending, a better description.🔥

Humans are inclined to be either/or rather than and/both. Honor the earth: the Goddess and also honor the sky; the transcendent God. Why is that so hard? Why be one-dimensional; why not be triune, which humans are. Consciousness; Mind; Elements. Not just the sky but the elemental also; both.
During the dark age the goddess culture was suppressed as people would worship an idol rather than what it represented as in the dark age the transcendent was not understood.
Again don’t become one-dimensional; the Native Americans respected the earth as mother; they also respected and honored the Great Spirit.there are three dimensions: Consciousness; Mind; Elements. Include all three; as that is the reality.
Christianity is about Consciousness; Christ Consciousness or cosmic awareness; awareness everywhere. If a sparrow falls somewhere it is known; that is Christ Consciousness.
The Shaman had knowledge of nature; Christ had consciousness of the whole Cosmos. Do not undervalue that or you are going backwards rather than forward. Honor nature; honor the Cosmos; honor Consciousness which has been known as God; Christ Consciousness as Awareness; as Oneness with Presence which is known as God.
Today for atheistic philosophy there is what they refer to as the hard problem of consciousness; it will remain the hard problem so long as they maintain an atheistic perspective.

It is all too soft, too meek. I'd like to understand shamanism more as a spiritual path, but unfortunately it is to focused on "healing", holding hands, "loving the earth".....I am not saying these concepts aren't important in their own right, but I see this modality also in the Catholic church. What I am saying is that for those that have more of a Warrior ethos inside themselves, this "loving doveyness" just does not appeal to us. Men like myself want heroic boldness, victory and high adventure! This is just not that. I wish Shamanism was more "strong", more bold, more masculine and heroic. Does anyone know what I mean?

As an aside there is nothing soft or meek about a shamanic initiation for anyone in any tradition it will bring you to your knees

There is nothing romantic about the shamanic path. You will suffer, you will cry, you will be inside of a big black hole, until you finnaly find you true self. Then, you will be ready to share what you have learned. At that stage, love and "softness" will manifest. But the real path is very hard. It has little to do with the drums, the aesthetic, etc. It's an inner path. Only true warriors and heroes can walk through it and then finnaly reborn. It will destroy your old self to bring out your Essence. Search for Nordic and Celtic Shamanism. Have a nice journey.

Up until now, rage has been able to get me so far. It invariably smolders out for a while, leaving me exhausted and guilt-ridden for not having been strong enough to protect my love or to properly smite those who did the harm. Healing for me then is about resting from that. It’s about re-connecting with the love. It’s about saying you sorry that you couldn’t stop the hurt. It’s about weeping uncontrollably as you are completely forgiven with positively no strings attached. It’s about grieving what was lost. It’s about making yourself spiritually whole. It’s about letting go of unnecessary and unhelpful burdens. It’s about going forward again as soon as possible, not from a place of shame and guilt, but rather in a spirit of inner-calmness - even, perhaps especially, as you really-enter the battle against those who are doing the damage. Let those who need rest take rest. Let those who are rested return to life.

@@ursiedotromshanti I gather that, perhaps I am not viewing shamanism correctly here. It's just from what I have seen, there is to much emphasies on "healing" and "love" etc. I don't yearn for that but for victory and adventure. I am sure shamanism can be an inner battle, this video however depicts it in a different light.
