How to remove the metal top to clean - there is a bit of resistance as it feels like it's stuck, you just need to apply a little more force to pull it out. Hold the both sides of the rim and pull upwards until you hear a click.
So I bought a used Hamilton Beach Health Smart Juicer on Amazon. When I got it there were no instructions. I became discouraged when I tried to remove the white plastic rim with the metal blade inside. I could get it off. I gave up and packed it up for a return. Now I saw your video Trini and saw that you said to be stronger on pulling it up as well as the circular blade insert so I unpacked it again and with determination, I got the white rim off as well as the blade! I cleaned it up from Amazon sending it and I will say this...This little machine is so quiet and easy to clean up. It only took me 6 minutes to take apart wipe out the carrot apple mush into the garbage then I rinsed off the parts and washed them and put them up to air dry. It was not bad at all. The fresh orange carrot juice with fresh apple was delish. I put carrot juice in my soups, spaghetti sauce and stews for a hearty flavor. I am so glad I found your post you helped me not give up so easily. Blessings, hope you see this.
Once the Nutri Bullet came around I stopped using my juicer. The ground up fruits/veggies I still used them in soup stock, bread, cakes etc. Depending on what I was using and making. Nothing was wasted.
Thank you for the tip, I need to see what I can do with the extra as well, I'll try some carrot bake or something. I was actually the reverse, I had a ninja set before the juicer..lol
I own a Hamilton Beach Health Start. I agree, it leaves too much pulp unprocessed. It is messy on the top like she showed. And the top and strainer are pretty impossible to pull apart to clean. Making the juice is easier than some juicers, but the cleaning is more time consuming and more parts. Overall, I would not recommend spending your money on one like this.
100% agree with everything. It's really not worth the time it takes to clean and I also think it should do a better job at grinding the fruit as a lot of pulp is still very moist meaning there was juice that could have been extracted.
It's 7a, and I will be using my new Juicer today! My daughter bought this for me for Mother's Day 2 weeks ago. From the video I have viewed several times, it does not show how to clean all of the excess pulp from the top😮 Also how to remove it for cleaning! I'll send a new review once I have used it today! PS, the brochure does state that you must be very careful with the strainer as it is very easy to damage, so please keep that in mind.
😂 I would have been excited for the first two minutes I find getting new appliances are soo cool. I understand what you mean when you say it’s wet still but I am impressed by it but then again I don’t own one 😂. And yes that kinda messy for real this was a very honest and helpful review thanks love ❤️. Lol I saw you watching around to see what you can juice 😂 🤣😂. It start allyuh 😂. Really hope you enjoy it hun.
Lmaooo, girl I really did ginger and carrots after but didn't want to make the vid too long 😆😂😂😂😂. But honestly the novelty slightly wore off, it feels like a task now, but I'll pull it out soon. Thanks for watching hun 🤗🥰.
Girl, I feel you. After the first three uses, I'm like... this is not what I want to be going through each time to clean up. 😣. I saw some persons using a bag in dump tray. I'll see if that helps... if not.. bye bye lol 😆
I tried this, I got a little as well but at the same time, the pulp was still wet anddd I feel like I shouldn’t have to go through all of that if I have a juicer 😩.
lmaooo, because it should be simple right!?! lol lol. Honestly, I usually do but this seemed straight forward or so I thought, until I had to remove that thing haha lol lol
🙈 Yes it was frustrating and I forgot to include it. If I remember correctly it just needs a little extra force. Try holding the both sides and pulling up.
Thinking of what can be used as a cheesecloth(as I’m not sure if I’ve seen cheesecloth here) that can be used to squeeze out the excess juice from the remaining fruits

I'm using 1 right now and it's not even juicing my carrots .. And it's leaving WAYYY to much pulp and fruit unjuiced. Do NOT recommend

As I’m watching this I’m having a flashback “ Who got the juice? Who got the juice??”
I got the juiceeee, clearly haha lol. 🥰💗
All of the juicers that I've used works this same way, but I got rid of mine, because it was too much to clean. Enjoy 🤎

Why we never get the instruction manual out?😂 we just start unhooking stuff and figure out how to use it as we go🤦🏽♀️😂
lmaooo, because it should be simple right!?! lol lol.

Why you skip the part that I was waiting to see. Taking out the strainer.

That sounds like something called more hard work 😩😆😂😂.#saveme lol . It is a good tip tho, thank you 🤗
The extra bits are good for you. Adds roughage/fibre.
My husband bought one I only use it once . don't like it. its too messy .I fine alot of fault with it.
Yes, very messy… not worth the hassle. I only used it 2x
The very reason I came to the video, you didn't do. How do we remove the top to clean it?.
🙈 it gave me some trouble as well as you saw. I think I had to press it down and then pull it up. Hope you were able to get through 🤗
But how did the juice taste though
Deliciousss. But was it delicious enough to make me want to clean a juicer all time 😩 not so much.
I hate this juicer it to messy for that lil bit of juice
100% agree
If she’s not a Trini 😂
Naaah, I'll pass on this one. Because of the froth
