To make clean up easier I line the inside of the pulp collector bin with a plastic grocery bag. I leave it there to dump the pulp that collects on the inside top of the machine which I scrape out by hand. Then you can just tie the bag and the pulp bin is usually pretty clean. If you are going to set this thing up you should probably plan on making several days worth of juice at a time. Pint sized Mason jars are good, or even clean reusable plastic containers. You can use leftover pulp as garden compost after it breaks down.
What a great review! Very thorough!! As someone who has owned this juicer and also a Breville juicer, I definitely recommend this juicer as the best value. This juicer really does perform extremely well (especially for the price)!
I just bought the black version at Walmart for $50. I thought it was not that easy to clean the first time I used it but I learned a few things. I lined the pulp container with a plastic grocery store bag which eliminated most of the cleaning effort for that part. I put the rest of the parts in the sink with hot water immediately after I stopped feeding the vegetables into it which made cleaning easier. The screen is best cleaned under warm running water with the scrub brush. It did a pretty good job extracting the juice, and the pulp was rather dry, not too wet. I tried putting kale through it between apple chunks, but I think it spit out some of the kale leaves without really extracting anything. Still on the learning curve.
Used my HB juicer just now. I had traded a bunch of items from my garage sale for this juicer. I used, from my garden, tomatoes and sweet peppers. It is great!
Love this little Juicer. Use it several times a week... and my Nutri Ninja for smoothies. Nice review... think it's the one that influenced my decision a couple years ago, or so... :)
I get free fruits and veggies from my local grocery's dumpster, so not extracting the maximum juice from the produce is OK with me, but I wish it would preserve nutrients as long as cold press juicers do.
I saw videos and reviews about this Hamilton Beach big mouth juice extractor so today while out I said let me try this and hands down it is amazing juice comes right out and it taste really good so yes I am a satisfied customer of this product and i can start 2018 with a healthy better lifestyle 😆😄😊😉😉
Mine makes a dang mess when it starts shooting the pulp into the pulp catcher..i put a bag in the pulp catcher and tape around it so it makes less mess shooting pulp out of the cracks
Oo i kind of want to buy this juice exractor but i need one that wont wake up everyone at the crack of dawn:( which juicer would u recommend that would make the least amount of noise and is still a good juicer? Btw thank u love ur videos!!:)
Hi, glad you like my reviews! The masticating juicers are much quieter. Here is my playlist of juicer reviews. The quieter ones are the two Omegas and Kuvings juicers. Hope that helps 😀
NinjaBacon88 If the juicer is already on, there is less stress on the motor to process the produce. If you add the produce first and then turn on the motor, it would put a huge amount of stress on the motor and it might burn out. Hope that answers your question! Another great video from bestkitchenreviews. I am always amazed at how well you do your reviews. They always contain some info. that I wasn't aware of. I bought this juicer a year ago and it has been good enough for me. I always put a plastic bag in the pulp catcher just so there is one less thing to have to clean. Thank you for your excellent videos. I am a subscriber !
Of anyone is making pineapple juice, cleaning the blades every time you do 1/4 of the pineapple. That way you get more juice since the pineapple pulp wont clogg the holes in the blade
Since there is a hole in the back ive heard that pulp flies out, does that happen alot? and is the screen for the blade fine mesh like the breville juicers?
+kevin soto Hi Kevin, I would recommend a masticating juicer for wheat grass. You can watch my review of the Omega J8006 here: ua-cam.com/video/Lm9g9pcZN_w/v-deo.html
+Tomasa Vazquez hola Tomasa...este producto esta entre los 50 y 60 dolares y lo puedes conseguir en las tiendas de Walmart o Target y tienen creo un año de garantia...

Just got mine at goodwill for six bucks! Works great thanks!
homebuiltindoorplane so lucky! You can find some wonderful items at goodwill
I literally just bought this same one (black/silver) for $7.50 at goodwill too. Lol
Need to wash and try it out.
Yes my husband just got one at goodwill for 14.99 work great loving it.
The question is why are so many Hamilton Juicers at the Goodwill? 🤔
I just got mine today unused of Facebook market place for 10 bucks. Cant wait to use in in the a.m.
I LOVE that one and had it for years but today, I ordered the $59 one. It takes up less space and looks like it can handle juicing ginger better.
I just bought mine, I give a 5 out of 5.
good video thanks, I had no idea this juicer left so much pulp and sediment in the juice container. Looks like you have to strain it after juicing
Love this little Juicer. Use it several times a week... and my Nutri Ninja for smoothies. Nice review... think it's the one that influenced my decision a couple years ago, or so... :)
nicely done. i don't usually make comments so I appreciate you answering all my questions off the bat.
Thanks, Aspry :)

Great review! I feel so confident about knowing how to use it now. This was so helpful! Thanks!!
Glad you found it helpful, Alexis :)
OK, heard your suggestions on what to do with the leftover pulp. If I had a juicer, I would hate to let the pulp go to waste!
One of the best Demos!! Keep up the good work!!
+Frederico Videos Thank You :)
You can use a strainer to get the pulp out after
Do you recommend this one or the pro version? What’s the difference
explained well! Mine didnt come with the juice cup. anybody else have that issue
The manual said certain models but i still think mines was one of the models smh.
You have some of the best reviews. Sounds like a lawnmower.
Thanks 😀

Hi Carol, I definitely make more smoothies than juicing 😀
Great review, we got the same one. Juice on!
Thanks 👍😀
Is it OK to use continous how many mins. Or how long Can use the machine?
Great video, I just have to ask, why do you need to turn on the machine before putting in the produce?
NinjaBacon88 If the juicer is already on, there is less stress on the motor to process the produce. Question
Do i have to take the white layer off the lemons when i juice them or can i just do the hard layer
Can it juice a watermelon with its rinds?
I found this helpful, thanks!
👍
she's a very good reviewer
😀👍
Is this considered a regular juicer or slow juicer? Tq
Regular, centrifugal juicer 😀
Can you juice limes and lemons and oranges with out peeling them first?
No 😁
What does one do with the pulp left over from juicing? Can it be used in other cooking, or is it usually consigned to the compost pile or the trash?
You can make muffins or breads with it.
You're not supposed to just consume the liquid. the harder parts, chunks and pieces have fiber which are good for you too
I think if you have time to juice you have time to chew :). Unless your juicing once for the entire week lol.
So is this one pulp extracted??
Quick way to make juice but orange juice taste betternin the hand pressed
Does we can make pomogranate juice in this??
I bought one today.
Wonderful, enjoy it :)
Of anyone is making pineapple juice, cleaning the blades every time you do 1/4 of the pineapple. That way you get more juice since the pineapple pulp wont clogg the holes in the blade
can you use this juicer to juice beets?
Hi Mia, beets can be juiced in this juicer. Please subscribe if you haven't already :)
perfect review!! thank you so much
😀
This juicer or cold pressed slow juicer??
The soft fruits were cut into pieces and the hardest 3 at once, that's a bad strategy to make the juicer last for a long time
Since there is a hole in the back ive heard that pulp flies out, does that happen alot? and is the screen for the blade fine mesh like the breville juicers?
The pulp doesn't fly out and the screen is fine mesh like the screen that comes with the Breville :)
Does anyone no if it is beneficial to send the pulp back through the juicer?
Has anyone had any problems with the juicer not working? I’m skeptical of the motor lasting long, but I’m obviously very interested
No problems here… Been using it almost daily for 4 years
Hi! Wondering if this machine or an Oster Jussimple Easy juicer extracts more juice and which is better overall if anyone knows. Thanks...
