Good morning from the drizzly SF Bay Area. Skye, your conversation with Mr. Deatherage is so helpful. It is tragic that Christians think they are under "siege." The use of military terms in all things American has created a pathway to violence. Jesus talked of being peacemakers. It is altogether possible to be pro both sides and look for solutions to end this thousands of years of conflict. I am so glad there are people like him out there working towards these goals. Thank you.

Since Hamas attack and Israeli assault on Gaza, an #Arab friend remarked that she is recalling feelings of Arab/Muslim hate after September 11, 2001.
If you have Arab, Muslim, Middle Eastern friends, co-workers, neighbors, acquaintances, consider caring for them with awareness and concern about the deaths in Gaza and the hate in our communities (#RIP Wadea Al-Fayoume | 6-year-old #Muslim boy murdered by family friend)
The same care is necessary for #Jewish folk, although there is public support and media concerning fighting #antisemitism and very little mention and even fear of backlash about fighting #Islamophobia/#Anti-Arab racism.

@brucee8332 I get it. You really have no argument against the idea I presented, so you focus on a spelling mistake. It's a common way to try to discredit an idea without actually providing an argument against it. It's good to know though that you are more effective than spell checker. Ezekiel 37:21-28 KJV - And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
If 1948 and the modern creation of Israel was supposed to be the fulfillment of the above verses as many try to claim, where are the other tribes of Israel? Why haven't they returned? Also, verse 26 says there is supposed to be an everlasting covenant of peace, but since 1948, there's been nothing but war. Also, why are there statues of Buddha in Israel today if those verses have been fulfilled in 1948. If people would read the entire Bible and not put their own spin on it, they would have understood why the word blasphemy is used in Revelation to describe those who claim to be something they are not.

God kicked the Jews out of Israel last we see in the OT. What Jewish prophet led them back into control of Israel? It was supposed to be their Messiah that would do that. What is actually happening is a false God being worshipped as God in the temple of God. They gave up waiting for a prophet. They gave up waiting for their Messiah. And they took it upon themselves to reclaim the promised land.
The Jewish leaders weren't a fan of Jesus because Jesus refused to give Israel back to them. Israel was under Roman rule in the NT. And Jesus had the Romans destroy the Jewish temple just to drive home the point it was not their land anymore.
Many many Jewish people reject Israel precisely because nobody sent from God has told them they could have it.

While I agree that the US has been one of Israel's strongest allies, there was one time in that history that the US disagreed with Israel: towards the end of the anti-apartheid movement in this country, which had its roots in the CRM. Israel and the US were staunch allies of South African apartheid. But eventually anti-apartheid activism largely fueled by African Americans changed this country's stance on apartheid. It's a rather complicated story because Rev Sullivan, a black conservative Republican and a black evangelical, found himself at odds with the many African Americans.

38.11: absolute analogy fail; any Christian who feels "embattled" in North America is self-gaslighting, self-projecting victimhood or feelings of vulnerability on themselves (and I'm a Christian in Canada where most things about our governing structures is more "liberal" / "woke" than ANY but the most "liberal" / "woke" parts of the US ... just saying). By and large, "liberal" / "woke" is doing no more nor less than asking Christians to speak / act more loving toward neighbours that are farther out of our comfort zones than we thought possible and calling that victimhood is simply privilege in a waking-up-and-heading-out-into-the-world-naked nightmare. Time to grow up brothers, sisters. Kiss the leper, serve the ones that make you uncomfortable, accept the ones whose identities drive you crazy with "how is that even rational?" -- and hurry up! Sooner than you expect, some of your nearest and dearest WILL identify themselves as one of those "others" that you're currently so willing to ostracize, exclude and you wind up REALLY blowing a gasket... I suspect there are some undisclosed middle terms in your chain of reasoning that I've probably heard before, and deny to the point of ignoring them.

I cannot speak for anyone, but Im assuming "these people" are educated in terms of the origins & history of "Christian Nationalist". Before I did some deep dives, I thought any opposition was odd bc, considering NOBODY separates their ethics from their politics. My line of thinking was ""Why would anyone NOT want USA law to align with God's law?". I still think/believe that way, but I found that's that's not necessarily (Infact, PROBABLY not) the intent behind other ppl using the term "Christian Nationalism". And I sus that while the modern politicians whove brought that term back to life in recent years (probably Steven Miller) are VERY aware & VERY deliberate in doing so, but most regular citizens are NOT aware. (They know not what they say). Ive also noticed there is alot of dog whistling & gaslighting in politics, ESPECIALLY in the Trump party. Infact, Ive never seen anything like it. So, to ask someone to give you an explicit answer is not possible.
Of course, it's usually not as obvious as when djt said, "My friend said Chris Christie is FAT. I told him you shouldnt call Chris Christie FAT. It's not nice to call Chris Christie FAT..." But I'll use that as an example, anyway. (Oh, & you can imagine the kids ROARING in laughter, once again entertained by the troubled classroom clown/bully). ANYWAY...A djt defender would say "Tell me ONE TIME Trump called Chris Christie fat. He NEVER DID. Infact he said, 'you shouldn't call Chris Christie fat" & 'it's not nice to call Chris Christie fat'. SEEE???YOU just have T.D.S.!"
OR: "its a JOKE you communist SNOWFLAKE" OR...any of the other sorry, ol' worn-out hits.
Any further pushback toward the gaslighter just makes one look like some paranoid wingnut. That's why dog whistling & gaslighting is so effective. But that doesn't mean it not a thing, or that wise ppl are going to buy into it.
All that aside, it sounds like you're not happy with "these people" / this ch. I find your question highly disingenuous & that what you REALLY doing is fishing for people to agree with you.
I highly recommend the mature adult option: Simply move along & find a ch/hosts you DO like. There's absolutely nothing productive that comes from complaining about this, or any other soc media space, ESPECIALLY the way YOU go about it. Spewing insults is never effective in persuading others to change their perspective. And like every other channel (& human being) They're not for everyone, & that's okay.
If you are a djt supporter, as I sus, then I double my recommendation to simply move on. While everyone is welcome & everyone holds their tongue as Christ commands. theres no sense in making yourself unnecessarily upset while realizing no one here falls for Trumps...mmm...I'll just call it SHENANIGANS.
👋You are more than free to swipe on next time.👋👋👋 You won't hurt anyone's feelers.👋👋 👋I promise. 🤗👋👋👋👋👋👋👋

So when a Christian Nationalist wants a theocracy where Christians are the protected class and then they define 90% of black Christians as not Christians... There's bigfoot.

Those are not commands that can be picked up and put in anytime and place. There are just as many instances to call out Israels sin
