This is the best of flight review video I have ever seen. Since I have been flying 1 to 2 times a year, I eat them up like york peppermint patties. The best part was no unnecessary talking, much more enjoyable. I will take my preimer first class delta flight in a little over a month. Now I am looking forward to it with intense excitment. Much thanks for letting me know what to expect
Thanks for that report. I'm looking forward to sampling the Delta first class service next week on a flight from ATL to TUS and that report has wet my appetite even more.
Great trip report! I used to fly with Delta when I was an exchange student in U.S. In my opinion, they're one of the best mainland U.S. airline out there.
Im might take a flight to STL soon (June 15th, a day before my birthday!) on an A319 and I’m seeing which class is the best for my style. Returning home in an A320! First time on a plane too.
Delta is a solid airline. Flown them a few times and I think they do a pretty good job overall. Plus I noticed the luggage tug says "All onboard entertainment is free?" That wasn't the case a few years ago, but definitely good to see. I personally miss the days of music on flights. I still keep United first choice, mostly due to the legacy of Continental Airlines but I don't hesitate to recommend Delta. AA is just too utilitarian for me.
American is overpriced. United hates its customers. Delta is a go to for business, JetBlue is for the middle class, southwest entertains, spirit rips you off (sorry Anthony)
Great video, I love the PSU. It looks very futuristic indeed. Like you, not a fan of the cabin divider. Ours at Qantas has a divider which is very similar on our 73H's ( between Business & Economy Class) although it is deeper. On our 717's there is a coat cupboard which does make the Business Cabin a little more 'cosy'.
I had a DL A319 flight in 2B from DTW to PVD at the beginning of May. You could have told me it was a brand new plane and I wouldn't have questioned it. Excellent product, though the flight is too short for a meal. I didn't think they were putting IFE into the A319 so it was a nice surprise. I had a rehabbed 757 into DTW that was quite good as well (save for the blue water toilet of course). Not touching my laptop for movies the whole trip was very nice.
Haven't we got over the "First Class" thing? Emirates and some other major transatlantic airlines have First Class. That was Business Class, but by today standards it should be called Premium Economy.
Delta calls it "First Class" on all domestic markets and "Delta One" on all transoceanic markets. Totally different experience and different aircraft. Don't confuse the two. Delta's transoceanic product is actually one of the industry's leading for Business Class.
John Smith. You're comparing a U.S. carriers domestic First class product, to that of an International carriers? That like comparing a Chevy Silverado to a Rolls Royce.
I'm a hardcore Jetblue fan but after flying from MSY to LAX last year on a refurbished a319 I would say Delta has the 2nd best fleet in the USA. Their entertainment system was amazing with great screen, shows, movies, games and even audio to listen to. The map was great too which is better than Jetblue's screens. However Jetblue has live TV and you can get even 100 channels on the a321s. What makes JEtblue better in my opinion is FREE WIFI and the fact that their staff is way more friendly, efficient and doens't try to screw you like Delta and AA's staff.
The climb out of New York was amazing!! It looks like a great product. I will be trying this out next month. I'm normally an American Airlines guy but priced pushed me to try Delta.
It was interesting to see the new interior in the Delta Airbus jets. I had hear about them updating the interior but had not seen any pictures or videos of it before.
Why? Some of us are not pale skin, pink eyed moles. We like sunshine. I only close it if it looks like the sun would be blinding someone across the aisle.
I love the look of the passenger service units. Built in IFE keeps the air rage at bay. Fly spirit expect no IFE. Fly American, you won't get IFE on domestic flights unless you are fortunate enough to fly a widebody planes a select few of the Airbuses and boeing 737s. Lack of IFE in a flight longer than 2.5 hours is criminal. When I was flying nonstop to San Juan Puerto Rico from DFW on a summer vacation, I was fortunate enough to fly on of the 737-800 with IFE on the 4 hour 54 minute journey. If it was an ex US airways A320 with reupholstered seats or even the 737 Maxes, the lack of IFE would make me cranky once my portable device's battery is dying and had to fumble around of the charger or suffer from eye strain from my iPhone's tiny 4.7 inch display.
Looking at your flight details above, your flight arrival was only 5 mins behind schedule so how could your connecting flight to SAN be boarding already while you were in descent? There was a gate delay and 30 mins of taxiing at LGA but your captain did a amazing job in getting you to MSP relatively on time! Looking forward to your connection experience! A vast difference in weather, MSP vs SAN!
was there alot of foot room? just wondering because im suppose to be flying delta with a service dog and if there isnt alot of leg room for my dog to lay then i will be kicked off i believe
It’s sad that the major carriers are just starting to add these features when smaller carriers like JetBlue have had this for years now. Seat back entertainment, moving maps, in seat power outlets, etc. On top of offering all of that, they still have the most leg room in coach amongst all the domestic airliners. All for a fraction of the price as well. American, United, Delta, need to step their game up.
Micslmn Delta has actually had PTVs on domestic routes for years (757, 737) but now it's more common as they've been modernizing their fleets. Also, it's not really true that JetBlue is a "fraction" of the price. In reality, most carriers are about the same. (Unless we're talking about ULCCs like Spirit or Frontier)
Delta airlines is a nice airline but never flew aircanada alegent Alaska or American airlines i have been on southwest United frontier and delta airlines
Thanks for the review I am flying Delta First Class on the A319 from SJC-MPS and the MD90 from MSP=TPA in about three weeks. A quick question does Delta use Airshow for its Inflight Map and can you use the Airshow map while taxing to the runway to see the ground speed?
I like this report, especially with Delta Airbus A319 looking like they were recently delivered, even thou they were refurbished to look very new (somewhat compare to United & American (Ex US Airways)'s A319. I wonder if you consider taking more Delta flight going forward since they are one of the few airlines to still add TVs on the flights, while airlines like American & United going with bring your own device entertainment?
I'd usually try to book American aircraft that have IFE (A32Bs) (some A319s) (some 737s), otherwise I'd take Delta. I prefer the color palette American has on their aircraft, but I love how Delta keeps their aircraft refreshed.
Ok, but do you get complimentary drinks and snacks on British airways economy, free in flight entertainment? 31 inches of legroom? Didn’t think so. (Talking about their short haul, their long haul WT is pretty nice).
iTripReport you do get complimentary drink and free bag of pretzels when you fly more than 1hr 15min. BA also offer 15min of free WiFi to all economy passengers. Economy passengers can enjoy 30 inches of legroom and a comfortable recline so...
The DL 319s are nice in First, but they are horrible in economy. Just seems to me like all the DL Airbus’ with the exception of the 350 are super cramped in coach.
And that was back when coach seats cost almost as much as today's first class, and back when people actually gave shit about their appearance and dressed up to fly.
Aircraft is only as old as it's engines. They replace there engines and up keep the body. 2ond hands are cheaper than new. Big airlines want biger they get rid of the old ones. Delta does a lot of short hops, so they use smaller ones
@@Jeff-ow1qqThanks! That's what I reserved. It's already a couple inches less on Delta as it is. I wish there was a bulkhead separating First from Coach. Or at least draw the curtain! 😂
So pleased I live in Aus and don't fly domestic etc in USA. That was 1st class? I hope you didn't pay much more than economy! Apart from the minute breakfast we'd call that economy x on virgin!
Type 40 really doesn't matter where you're from, it shows your ignorance of airline standards and most probable lack of flying with worldwide airlines. Your rudeness shows total immaturity and stupidity mate.
To be fair you are pretty rude as well so that might not be your strongest argument, while I have never flown with an Autralian Carrier I have flown on many Airlines in Europe, America and some in Asia so I think I have some knowledge. I took a look at Virgin Australia's Economy X and while it looks pretty good it's nothing like this, sorry to burst your Bubble.
Rude? Where? My original comment referred to an airline, NOT the video. What do you expect when you get vulgar in a public forum. Should I just accept wheat you say and apologise for my honest and noteworthy comment on an airline that seemingly does not have the product advertised. Now go look up virgin economy x and business class, then look at 1st class on say, Emirates etc. Only then will you ever begin to understand what a stupid and vulgar comment you made. And I doubt you've ever flown business or 1stthese vids are provided for flyers to see if the product suits our needs, this one clearly doesn't suit mineand I said so. This is a compliment to the maker of the video. Best you leave it there mate, you don't really have a clue about these products or videos.
”Thank you for flying Delta Business Express. We hope you enjoyed giving us the business as much as we enjoyed taking you for a ride.”
This is the best of flight review video I have ever seen. Since I have been flying 1 to 2 times a year, I eat them up like york peppermint patties. LOVE the product! HATE their new cabin dividers (or lack thereof). Great video.
True
Even though this is 6 years old, thank you for posting this! I’ll be flying first class for the first time in October. I’m so excited!
LOVE MY DELTA!!!!

imo delta is the best out of united or american
Bryan Zhang how can Delta be the best out of United or American 😂 I think you mean best out of the three.
Councilman Les Wynan shut up!
Bryan Zhang it is
LightKnight So are we just gonna ignore united Polaris business class? It’s clearly the best business class in the US!
LightKnight Why are you assuming it took 3 weeks? I didn’t see you responded until today lol..
Excellent video! I'm flying to NYC soon, thanks for the heads up, I'm going to try to skip LGA
Loved it!! I love Delta period...I wish my company's 319s looked half this good. Nice job Delta.
That awful feeling when I'm so close to my connecting airport but know I'm going to miss my connection makes me want to deflate like a ball.
Amazing trip report as always! I should be flying on the delta 757-300 next month! Liked!
Love the 753. Delta flies more 757's than any other airline, particularly domestically. One of many reasons why I fly them religiously.
That was a very stubborn spoiler after landing. Haha! Excellent trip report!!
i watched your videos of delta's 900er and MD-88s . I'll be flying a 319 to detroit and a 320 to buffalo. so im pretty excited.
Thanks for your comprehensive review(:
1:50 I hear take on me

Delta is the best I’ve been on like four
Another amazing video! Keep up the work
Nice video
Your so close to 5,000! Yay!!!
Beautiful report! Nice channel !
The safety information puts me to sleep on the plane and getting up early dose to

Great Review!
It was interesting to see the new interior in the Delta Airbus jets. I had hear about them updating the interior but had not seen any pictures or videos of it before.
Whenever I fly onto Minneapolis it always looks like a frozen wasteland! Ugh😩 Thanks for the vid- it was informative and helpful for me.
BoBindy 2014 probably because you come in winter? It still gets into the 100s in the summer
Minnesota Aviation: lmao born and raised still haven’t seen 100’s :(
Tyler Olson : to young to remember then lol
Nice video. Wondering what the temperature was when you landed in MSP.
why is LGA always under construction lol
Yeh you right.
Lockiel Hodgson because it’s a Third world country
of course you know that Delta tracks the connecting passengers and will hold flights if necessary..... happened to me on Delta... great airline
The plane was refurbished by Airbus? Because it has the new Airbus interior.
That terminal is where I learned to never fly spirit again
Great review. I'm annoyed when the one guy in first class keeps his window open. :)
Why? Some of us are not pale skin, pink eyed moles. We like sunshine. I only close it if it looks like the sun would be blinding someone across the aisle.
I'm flying delta first class out of the country, does the seat names change from first class to delta one?
I love the look of the passenger service units. Built in IFE keeps the air rage at bay. Fly spirit expect no IFE. Awesome video
Would you recommend the first or second row in 1st class? Seems like first row has more leg room, but it's a stretch to the screen.
Your seat sucked. You have that bulky part of the plane frame so it limits your space and you gotta lean forward to look out the window
I love Airbus. ✌
Awesome 👏🏻
Good review, but maybe cut out the extra bits, it was a bit long haha

first haha I’m so original
Love the vids keep em up
You say LGA has issues with overcrowding the real issue is terminal A & B... Terminal C&D both delta terminals are great.
Delta airlines is a nice airline but never flew aircanada alegent Alaska or American airlines i have been on southwest United frontier and delta airlines

What a difference delta first class versus american day and night

you can open the in flight map the moment the screens are activated, which will usually be before or after the safety briefing
Thanks
What editing software do you use?
Which row has best window view in comfort?
Ok what is that constant buzzing noise? Is it as loud on the aircraft as it is in this video?
Sorta yes, it’s the engine, and it’s only heard towards the front of the aircraft. But once you get past 10,000 feet it slowly fades away.
nice
The reg ends in NB, you flipped the letters

United 737 Max 9 has screens for domestic flight.
Are you going to make a video on MSP to SFO?
Pretty disappointed to see Delta's first class isn't separated by a bulkhead from the business class
No wall from first class and coach, my only complaint.
*Hahahaha, don’t make me choke. You had to point out ‘the complimentary hand cream’ in first class toilets 😂. You get that in BA’s economy class 😂*

So are all there planes like that now ???? Meaning with the new seats and TVs in the head rest ???
All 737, 738, 739, 752, 753, A319, as well as a few A320(currently having TVs installed) have this. As well as all long haul aircraft
No. A lot of their planes still have the old northwest airlines interior.
The DL 319s are nice in First, but they are horrible in economy. Just seems to me like all the DL Airbus’ with the exception of the 350 are super cramped in coach.
Welcome aboard southwest airlines flight 2437 with service to providence tf green international airport
The interior looks the same as the a320 interior. Except the a320 don't have any televisions (unfortunately).
The good news is they are currently being retrofitted with TVs... sadly my flight didn’t have them installed
Is the airport really that bad???
They used to serve this in coach in the 70s.
Semsem Eini: well things have changed sweetie welcome to 2000’s
And that was back when coach seats cost almost as much as today's first class, and back when people actually gave shit about their appearance and dressed up to fly.
