This video is so heart achingly beautiful! Twenty years ago my sweetheart and I sewed a tent, backpacks, and all our ultralite clothing, and biked the pacific coast hwy from Seattle to Ashland. Then we took apart our bikes, sent them home in boxes, and hiked the Northern 1,000 miles of the PCT up to Canada. Watching this video is like having an old friend I was not sure I would see again show up for a visit to tell me stories. Thank you John! Smiling and a little teary here. You are outstanding in your field.

This is such a nerd thing but does anyone know if the trail at 2:19 is the section on the PCT as you pass Glacier Peak? It looks so oddly familiar it put a smile on my face
Beautiful video! Glad you got to hike the Northern Cascades when you did. I'm curious, when did you reach the terminus? I was forced off due to the wildfires, but I was hanging with Courier in Stevens Pass so you guys can't have been too far ahead. Glad to see him again, he's such a genuine and cool dude!
