    This is a great video; i was just chopping samples on mpc beats but never focused on chord progression; and this has changed my focus cause i always had to ask somebody to do chords for me. I still enjoy this in 2023

      @@doswellbeats When you define a chord progression, it is added by the MPC in the list of available progressions, from where you can choose. So it is clear to me how define progressions and re-use them in the next projects. But I don't see a DELETE progression button to remove them if I don't use them any more

    What up Dos? I'm trying to convert from an audio track to chord progressions. I'm having trouble. I put it it all in but it's having trouble detecting the chord progressions. Can you tell me how to do it or make a vid?

    • @doswellbeats
      @doswellbeats  Рік тому +1

      You are trying to get the midi notes from a wav file (audio) . Let me see if I understand right. You have an Audio track playing chords and you are trying to get the chords from the audio track. Is that what you are trying to do

    • @djtopshe11f59
      @djtopshe11f59 Рік тому +1

      @Doswell Beats exactly. There's a tool where you can get the chords, never figured out how to use it.

    • @doswellbeats
      @doswellbeats  Рік тому

      Bro I am not sure if you can do that in the MPC software. The is a button on the top right of the screen next to the undo and redo that say export to midi but that is only if you have a midi . It doesn’t work on audio files. I know FL have that feature. I am not saying it can’t be done . I am saying I don’t know how to if it can be done. Thanks for reaching out bro I appreciate it 🙏🏾👍🏾🙌🏾

    I'll bookmark this for future reference because I've found it to be useful. I'm just getting started with MPC Beats (formerly used an MPC-1000 JJOS2). I'm about to put my hands into it and make it live as they say in the biz. I'm thinking about getting the Akai MPK mini MK3, or an Atom or something from Native Instruments. I feel having at least two hardware devices might be beneficial.

      Xylume thanks for watching and commenting on the video bro I appreciate it. If you are going to use the mpc software and get a midi controller I would recommend that you get the MPC TOUCH. It’s just like the mpc live, the mpc one and the x it’s the same hardware. The only thing is that the mpc touch is not a stand-alone hardware 🙏🏾👍🏾
