- Is Space Engineers 2 worth it at the moment or should you wait to buy it? In this short video I explain my reasons for buying and reasons against buying.

fr, people are pretending like Space Engineers doesn't have that 2014 vibe to it that never went away. Been loving SE2 a LOT more.
I still think it is kind of disappointing they didn’t like the Gatling gun functional when they could’ve just made it use the same assets as the debug gun atm and change later
Im watching it optimistically, but won't buy until multi-player launches.

I'll never trust KSH promises after Medieval Engineers...
Honestly, the only reason it's released at this stage is because KSH has run out of money... As they do. Marek starts stupid projects all over the field only to bs people with promises and bail.
I wish they'd push back Vertical Slice 3 (water) and do Multiplayer first, but I'm more or less happy with the other Vertical Slices
I made the decision a while ago to support the development and release of this game, so paying for it now was a no-brainer for me. That said I've held off on installing it at the moment just because of its very alpha state. Bear in mind I was around for SE1 Alpha so this whole experience is kicking up some memories 😆
there is stairs you can change the long slope into stairs you need to look for slope with + sign on it then you have stairs but there is no other type of stairs
Not implementing MP from the start is a major red flag for how it will perform later on... I have more than 2k hours on space engineers and when I saw how the alfa was launched I was more than skeptical. Lets hope I was dead wrong, cuz I love the concept.
I wish they had done MP from the start and had limited other functions. Would have made it a lot more attractive for people to buy.
Not really. You have to keep in mind that this is still Alpha. Not all of the features are there yet and they aren't going to release something that doesn't work.

SE1 was a bit too ambitious for the small studio and reused sooo much from minerwars. I would have much preferred they worked on performance and fixing the nonsensical lighting on SE1 than any of the other 'improvements' SE2 brings. I know they worked hard on the physics but I genuinely doubt it will be much better MP.
