This song is satirical message about the 'corrupt' music industry. The song mimics artists who succeed to fame because of so-called "ghostwriters" and the unfair opportunities one has as a result. It also criticises the whole career of being a music artist, being underpaid by streaming services and the general public's attention - the lyric "ZERO DOT ZERO ZERO THREE, give me 2 years and your dinner will be free" is basically talking about the amount an artist gets from 1 stream on Spotify ($0.003) and the exaggeration of the low income artists get from this career etc.
and Edgar Allen Poe was an American poetry writer and lyric criticist, he was one of the first in the US who wanted to make a living of only writing but due to non existing copyright laws, firms just took british poems and released them in the US and the ones that chose Edgar would pay him very late. He died in his 40s due to natural died but might have been killed by someone due to political stress
This song is just amazing. I LOVE chaotic bops. It doesn't need a reason to exists! Its just fun! Reminds me of the vibes from Subwoolfer last year!

If the performance is good, I can't see why juries wouldn't give this points too because there is a legit meaning and commentary there behind the goofy vibe about the state of the music industry in the streaming era and stuff, which should resonate with most of the people sitting on the juries, I'd imagine. I really like it. It's super catchy, fun and goofy, has a point and a purpose to it too. I also like how it kinda grows through the song to that final chorus. I may have put this as my #1 for now. haha.

Wow! I really love this song! Austria being crazy this year! This song really left me speechless in a good way! It just has so muc mystery and quirkiness and just wow! Gotta say that crystalball info leaks this ESC season have been so crazy! But yeah the early leak of the poe poe poe part was really weird but I knew t would sound much better in the end as the audio quality was visibly very poor. The most interesting part is how big message this song has with that artists have a hard life and how mistreated they are! Just fabolous! 😃🤩
It took me a second listen after the initial WTF from the first reaction. But this song is one of my favs, it is insanely catchy and I love the unique message delivered satirically. There is no doubt it will stand out at Eurovision, I just hope they nail the staging as that can really make or break an entry like this.

In relation to this song, I was expecting a bit of a sh*tshow based on the "iconic" snippet we all heard 😂. I was FULLY expecting a random jokey, p*sstake type of song but yknow what, I was pleasantly surprised. I actually like this song. For me this is the perfect combination of humour but also an actual quality song. Also the fact that lyrically it has meaningful elements is really lovely to see. Also, it is definitely going down well online 😂.
This song stands out and im looking forward to the staging.
Also it was released today for that reason (International women's day) they mentioned that in their promo.

Oh my goodness... I'm absolutely obsessed with eurovision but this is an awful year song wise for me, I like maby 7 out of 30 so far.
But I must say I'm so glad I follow all the national selections because this national selection season has been amazing for me finding new music for my playlist, there's around 50 songs I enjoy that haven't even gone to eurovision. ♥
firstly you should soooo read some edgar allen poe stories but also its not just funny, the song is about how the music industry doesnt pay artists enough (one spotify stream gets them 0.003 dollars) and how you can be the most talented writer and not be credited at all, or the most talentless singer signed to a label who succeeds bc of other writers (ghostwriters) !!! i think this song is insane and would even say it could win sf2
Regarding staging and choreography, they have already got it from music video. Styling should change obviously, but choreography from the music video is already there and it's clicking with people. They can recreate it in Liverpool!
I think they will have to go with trench coats or sth they take of towards the end

This will come down to the performance and staging. Its fun. But the song itself is not all that much. But its in semi 2 - the weaker semi which gives it a chance to go to the final. Good to see your health has improved.

From an austrian: Exceptionally well produced EDM-garbage with some lyrical depth, but tbh - if the live perfomance is even half as good as the videoclip, this is a guaranteed Top 3-5 song in the final.....mark my words ;)
