I hope Val gets to come out and play more than once a year. Her smile and attitude were enjoyable. Maybe so Sugar Momma merchandise could be added to help pay for Steve’s repairs
Yes hope to more of Val.
Get your shi;; together

A pile of 💩is a Hot Mess -- spread out is best.
Most boys - city and country - figure that out by the time he becomes a man.
I think VAL rocked the week. She did great. Ohh so She had to break your record. Need to get Rosler to build a couple for it. Great job VAL on the week. You all 3 rock.
Definitely making power with those Steve Morris engines. Next development is a STEVE MORRIS Transmission division! All those broken trans are R & D.
A billet transmission would be awesome
@@MarkWilliams-lf5tc and Steve Morris Engines now has suitable cnc machinery
My opinion is that Steve should look into a Lenco and a Bruno type unit.
Shout out to Val Morris getting back in the driver's seat.
Steve your family is right where life intended.
Is a collaboration with a transmission builder coming?
Your channel content is amazing.
Thank you for bringing us along for the ride.
Haven’t you used Rossler transmissions from Gerard, Ohio ?
@@batman607 Who are you asking? The OP or Steve?
I don’t know how you got my question, Sorry.
Nice seeing the Boss Lady racing. Making more family memories.
20:40 Thats what makes the great ones great. No driver, or builder is flawless. They became great by PLENTY of mistakes...they just learned from them. You guys had a great week, learned a lot, spent time together, and thats all that mattered by Day 5. Cant wait to see whats to come!
The important things is Val finished the week on a high. You all got through some trials and tribulations that may have involved a change of underwear and you can do it all again another day. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
I’ve got to hand it to you Steve, you handled the week very well considering the issues you’ve dealt with. You have a great family! Have a safe trip home!!!
The Morris Racing Family... Making boost and memories.
It’s nice to see Val’s husband supporting his driver! 😊
Awesome to see your family work together on Sick Week.👍
Well, least there’s plenty of job security in a transmission field!! 😂. JK. SM is now Sugar Momma instead of of Steve Morris.. But look at the Memories for 2024 so far!
Sugar Momma Engines. 😂😂😂😂
Super proud of Steve and Kyle,
For focusing on Val’s car.
Instead of their own race cars!!
I’m not a corvette fan, but my wife is. Her C3 is her baby.
And I often work on her car, instead of my big block ford. 26 years married to a great woman, some times she’s more important.
Great job guys!!!
Agggh stevez wife def smarter than him great men come from great women case proven
What are you talking about ? The only reason Steve was with Val was because he crashed his car . What else would he do ? He couldn’t go home they came in one truck and trailer . Kyle’s car isn’t done so he went to help mom .
@@jkfonyi are you stupid???
He built that car for his wife.
So she could get back into racing.
That’s what a man does!!!
A husband does!!!
Steve could have raced the wagon , bent up!!!
Fixed the mechanical parts.
But he chose to not.
Are you stupid???
Are just a boy???
@@jkfonyi he crashed the wagon,
Do you even know what he has fixed at midnight, to keep racing, that car???
He chose to only focus on sugar momma, instead. He even said that!!!
Please try and keep up!!!
Please
@@jkfonyi both put Val in front of their own cars,
Exactly what I said!!
Her first time racing again in 25 years.
Yep they put her first!!! Exactly what I said!!!
What are you talking about???
My son and I flew in Wednesday, down from Howell and followed…. She did an excellent job and the mechanics weren’t to bad either….rebuilding the wagon and seeing sugar mama will make some
Great content for us to watch in the future…
It was great to see the whole family out and having a good time even though you had several problems. Val did a good job driving. Kyle is one hell of a good mechanic. And Steve, well, Steve is the guy that can't keep a transmission in anything he owns. Seriously, it is great to watch a family show on drag racing. You all impressed me. You can see the love between everyone.
Great family adventure. This is what drag & drive should be. It's nice doing 6 sec passes to prove you can do it but having fun in 8-10sec cruiser with family is great.
We need a "How Many Transmissions Does It Take To Complete Drag and Drive?" t-shirt.
2010 we were running an A/Fuel dragster, IHRA at a National event.
One pass the car went into VERY VIOLENT tire nshake,
broke the tops off 2 Big Pro mags, broke the intake carbon fiber scoop and knock off a bunch of other stuff!!!
It was QUITE impressive.
Driver said he couldn't feel it....
Had to check EVERY weld on the car for cracks, none found by a visual.
Do love the videos, keep 'em coming!
Thank You!
Thanks to all the Morris family, to all of your team and to all all the kind and generous people who helped you out! Safe trip home! 🙂😎❤
Got to meet Steve and Val at SGMP, bought a wagon shirt and he took time to sign it while replacing her fuel pumps!!! Made my whole trip worth it. Also ran into Clark several times and had some real good convos…..great folks all around!!!
Thanks to all the Morris family and super Clark! Was super cool to see Val race! Super fun sick week to view! Hope you do it again! 👌🤟✌️👊♥️
Thanks for taking us along. The Trip was Awesome for sure.😁
Man watching Val get her swag this week has been awesome! Her launches got soooo much better all week! Hope she gets out more this year! Great job guys, tough week but you made the best of it!
I don't understand why there are already over 3,000 views but only 400 likes? Peeps it helps the algorithm, it helps the channel in many ways.
On a few channels to which I subscribe (including this one), I hit the LIKE button before I even watch the video.
Awesome that you have such a great family supporting and sharing your passion.....best of luck to all of you for D&D next year!
Kevin pulled the chute staring at the wall.. it wasn't the auto eject... The in car footage is wild..
He talked about how his auto chute didn't work because he messed up on the deployment parameters and had to pull it himself.
@@timothyhays1817 watching his video as I type this.. I can't believe he had the presence to pull the chute while looking at the wall..
No Kevin doesn’t have auto chutes, listening to his narratives
You guys don’t get it . Any driver worth his salt is taught to pull chute as soon as it gets out of shape . And that chute is only thing that saved car with that much water under tires . That wasn’t spectacular driving . It was doing the first thing your taught and getting incredibly lucky . 8 out of 10 times he piles that into wall or the vette . In fact over correcting and almost hitting vette was a bad driving move . He refuses to put top fuel hoops or orings in and blows head gaskets every 5 passes . His bad decisions almost cost another guy his car .
Sitting on a gas can, working on a gas tank.
How classic is that? 😂
Great racing!
Sugar Momma for the win!
Thank you for the great content 🙏
Yea sitting on gas can working on a gas tank and making sparks unplugging electrical connections
Steve in the back seat was great. I bet it brought back memories. I know I always had a car load of friends looking for stop light action.
Still consider putting a firewall over the transmission in the wagon. If something happens again, keeping the trans fluid away from the driver is another level of safety so you don't have to rely on the nomex keeping you from frying.
Why He doesn’t seem to care much about safety when he don’t even check his own car over between runs because it was “good” the run before
Time to start building your own transmissions
Love your transparency Steve!
Good on you for admitting your mistake with the trans line length! That’s why I’m subscribed because you are full of knowledge and humble!
Really rad to see another man put that much effort into getting his wife a goal accomplished. Especially this stuff. Mad rad. Hell of a week guys. 👏🏻👏🏻🎬
The ups and downs of this challenge is what makes the successful days that much sweeter. Don't beat yourself up and keep going.
Best family road trip ever. Val remembered everything like she never took a break from racing, and then there is the small matter of 100's of thousand people watching her. Great job Val, and now I can see why Steve is always smiling.
Good to watch the full experience with the Morris’ family! Congrats on the effort and accomplishment. Glad your safe Steve but I was excited to see Sugar Momma get all the attention. Not bad for a first rotation Mrs. Morris hope to see you sick summer!
Congrats to Morris Family for your Perseverance through out your week of racing. Greay attitude and going forward through the trials & tribulations you dealt with. have a safe trip home. God Bless
Clark has become a very important piece of your high-speed endeavors. Hats off to all of his hard work! Thank you Steve for the quality videos and thank you Clark for helping make it happen. Maybe Clark should get lifetime SMX machining and engine updates? Hmmm....sounds great to me! 😂
Finished watching this video!!
And I’m smiling!!! SME family is the best!!!
Awesome!! Awesome!!! Making this a family event!!!
You guys are home town heroes!!
From Muskegon!! Thank you!!
One thing I've learned (since the video title says I might learn something) is Steve really really really LOVES to hear himself talk and talk and talk.
Steve you and Kyle are blessed to have Val in your life she is a real asset on the team as well as in everyday life calm helpful goes along with what ever needs to be done with a wonderful smile, some Sugar Momma Merch is in order. thanks to all for keeping us informed. peace out
It looks like you guys had a good time and enjoyed it even though you guys had all those problems. Congrats on completing your first drag n drive with Sugar Momma. Val you did an awesome job making the passes down the track.
Steve, I love that you are so "hands on". Everyone can learn a lot from you. Great to See Val having so much fun!
With Drag Week this year being pretty local to you all, I am hoping to see you at 131 and Milan. The other tracks being National Trail, and Indy. Sugar Momma and Boostmaster would be stars, as they should be. My fiancee loves that Val is now in the mix. Val has the disposition, just like Kyle and Steve. A true racing family. Even with all the issues you have had, one never stops learning things. I am a clinical engineering specialist for a large Detroit health care system, and I have been learning for 20 years. Be safe, and a family that plays together stays together.
Seeing Sugar Momma makes me want to go find a Malibu from that era. Never paid much attention to them when I was younger but now they have really grown on me.
Hi mate really sorry for your accident and the troubles leading up to it…I know you’ll be back and make it better……lov’n all your videos here in QLD Australia cheers 😊
Val did a great job, but you need to move the parachute lever so she can find it easier. The attitude your whole family possesses during tough times was inspiring.
She just needs more reps in the car for it to become muscle memory.
Love to a see a family having fun together it's awesome. I grew up in MI And we did everything as a family and most of that Drag racing our Family home was 5mi from Milan dragway
Cool Family! Thanks for letting us ride along.
So proud of SME and sugar momma!!!
You guys rock!!
Sugar momma did great !!!
She getting back into racing!!!
So cool!!!
Local hero’s!!!
Steve, you and your family are great. Can't wait to see The Wagons updates and back on the track hitting 5s.
Mr. Morris, a year ago I watched you at the Engine Performance Expo and you were the quiet kid in the corner. Obviously this is home turf. but the footage was great, It's easy to talk when you're passionate. I'm aware of what social media has become but thank you for sharing. :)
racing is in all your blood... momma, pop and the kid. You guys are killing it, such an awesome family dynamic!
Really enjoyed the recap of the hole week!!
Can’t wait to see both cars back at track
Thanks for all the entertainment 💪🏼🇺🇸💪🏾🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸
All of you can be proud for finishing the week. Steve thanks for mentioning the tight trans cooler line in the wagon, we all know what not to do now. I am not the Safety Guy but I watched in horror you testing those fuel pumps. You have an open fuel cell there and the power is on and you are unplugging and plugging in the pumps, just above toe open fuel cell.. Each time you unplug or plug in one of those pump connectors there is a chance of a spark. Do not do that. It was an OMG moment, Steve is going to blow himself up!!!
Man this has been great to see Val be part of this. Gotta say, she cuts a damn good light. :D
if we over here in Germany could get such events going that would be insanity. I love to see the entire Family going at it. Puts a smile on my face (:
I used to watch a channel called Precision Transmission on UA-cam. That guy KNOWS transmissions. I know yall have your people but it's definitely a place I'd trust.
Great job for the whole crew. and thanks for taking us along, its going to be great watching that car get faster!
It is fun watching both of you back the wife and mother. This is very Kool. I think politicians should have to go racing so they can learn how to lose and not flip out. Look at who won overall this year. Glad to see Lutz back in. So many different cars and set ups.
Val is a great addition to the channel! You can tell she is a drag racer not a drag & driver by the way she lets off the button. She ain't sitting there waiting for a turbo to spool up!
That's because it's super charged
You guys are such a cool family, I just love watching all 3 of you together ❤
So cool to see Val out there to complete the family. Awesome combination of adorable kick tail driver being knowledgeable with the workings. You are a lucky man. Crushed with the wagon art damaged but grateful to see you'all participating together. Looking foreword to next event.
I have no "QUIPS" for the family dedication, just admiration. & Dewey & Clark, & Nate filming till next foray.
I loved Kyle's comment beginning of the week, "She's a driver".
She sure is.
Great job Morris family.
Fantastic job, Val.
Congratulations on a week of racing well done.
Talk about family adventures, wow. After so long out of the seat, great job, Val.
Have so enjoyed spending the week with you guys. Really nice to see a family together doing what they love. Now, we need Dewey time!!
Awesome videos this week! Thanks for taking us along with you! Hope we get to see Val out at the track more
Val is friggin awesome! Sorry about the wagon troubles but super glad to see she got to run all 5 days
Great showing
Great family ❤❤
I work in the hose and fitting industry, and a big cause of failure is routing.
Need to be careful with extra 90’s or 45’s but they do help to make sure hoses aren’t under stress.
I saw Kyle channel his inner Mr. Sam polishing those wheels all the other UA-camrs have a cleaning polish now we need a SMX engine polish now
Thanks as always for taking us along on your family vacation. Now Steve is going to have to work on developing a transmission to hold up to his transmission killer power plants. You have 3 cars waiting, Mullet, Mama and the Wagon.
Congrats on finishing. I like Sugar Mama. Val is awesome.
Cannot wait for the Wagon's comeback, no matter how long it takes.
Morris Family FTW
Thanks for sharing your great adventure with us, Morris family! You make the most lasting memories when things don’t go smoothly! Looking forward to seeing what’s to come.
Glad you got her car figured out and now hope to see you back @ the next one!
That Matt Fields reference was not expected, HILARIOUS!
Thanks for being the husband of the year. Really loved this series of vids of sic week. Husbands should door more for their wife's. Best series ever Steve, your wife rocks
Well done, love seeing the whole family together. Memories that will last everyone a life time.❤❤❤❤
Great job Mrs morris you are awesome thanks for sharing
As much as it sucks for the wagon, I think I had a tear when it went on fire...Val is awesome and your family is super cool. I look forward to all 3 cars doing well.
Great job, Val! Looking forward to future drag and drive events with Sugar Momma!
What a Awesome Family 😊 Thanks for Bringing us along and sharing your experience!! Love the Channel keep up the Amazing Work and wait for the big reveal!!!
Love your channel, awesome family. Your family and the Taylor's rock!!! Family oriented love it. Keep on keeping on. Can't wait for your next videos I will buy more merch!!!
Great job Team Morris! Sad that the wagon couldnt make the week but that did open things up to put all the time into Sugar Momma and Vals trips down the strip. Looking forward to what you guys have in the future. Side note I did watch Kevin Smiths' vid and he explained his setup on the auto- chute deployment that didnt work and how he pulled it himself to get Soccer Mom straight again. Interesting to see the ability of the Holley system.
This was one of my favorite drag and drive Sick Weeks! Soo much cool content! Great job family!
Mrs. Val did a awesome job and her Malibu is friggin SICK!!!!! I love the Wagon and always will but that model Malibu is one of my favorite Cars and the Malibu Wagons. For the past 10 years I have been wanting a 1979 or 80 Malibu Wagon with a Supercharged LS Swap that makes a good 600 h.p and A/C so I can cruise it but still be peppy. Thanks for all the uploads and knowledge you share!
I learned something from watching this.
I can't afford to race
Hear that. I can barely afford to watch it.
Depends on how fast you want to go. There’s people running the events in stock or nearly stock vehicles. Things typically don’t get crazy until you really start chasing speed.
I really enjoyed following your family this week i mean just family at there roots I mean honest hardworking people that seem humble and happy.
Great job this week Team Morris! Look forward to seeing more of sugar momma in the future. Sad for the wagon but it will be back im sure better than ever! I have no doubts that it would have gone into the 5 this week but things happen for a reason and you got to hang with the wife and son this week. Surely a week to remember!
I loved seeing the whole family involved with this project and race!
So glad you all are safe and such a great family event! Congratulations Sugar Momma on your restart racing career! 🎈🎈🎈All you need is Dewy there to help! Clark you are an amazing with your support! ❤️❤️❤️
Hope to make it to make it up to the shop!
I learned something!
🔥right on sm crew.. mom is a kickass person and driver.. just great to have you in the videos 🔥👊🔥🔨🏍⚙️⚠️go sugar momma
Great video thank you for taking us along I appreciate it and enjoyed it very much
It's so nice seeing the family out together ❤️
It's. A lot of work with two cars running. My buddy is going on 80 year's old . So I'm pretty busy with mine and his . On a good weekend. 😂👍
Great job on Sick week with Sugar Momma!! Love seeing Val on the channel she rocked the whole week!
Steve you have a wonderful family. Seeing Val on the channel and her talent behind the wheel was awesome 👏 can’t believe she normally hates being in front of the camera because she is a natural. The car is badass and won’t need much to work the drag side bugs out! My wife has been asking all week if we can watch the newest Steve Morris video and now she wants a street/strip car 🫣 congratulations on making it to the finish of Sick Week, it definitely takes hard work and dedication, I’m sure you guys are ready for some rest!
I loved the Matt Field name drop, imagine if he ran an SMX or SML in his pro car? Maybe a new market for Steve?
You guys giving Sugar Mumma away?... NOOOooooo!. I love this car. If that was the case with the whole "Big Announcement" I wouldn't be able to win it either (I live in Australia) 😅
I love that you guys did this whole trip as a family.. Val is chill AF (You are one lucky man Steve) and the fact that you can have all those things go wrong through the week and just know that Kyle has it sorted if you are not there.. That's pretty cool.
Congrats on finishing Sick Week guys.
