  • join Pugs from Live to Ride as he takes the 2024 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 for a burl in this true-blue Aussie review! 🦘
The Bullet 350 has been kickin' around since 1932, makin' it the longest running motorcycle in continuous production. This little ripper was even used by the Indian Armed Forces back in the 50s!
In this video, Pugs checks out all the new features of the 2024 model:
Updated twin down tube cradle frame for better handling 🛠️
Proven J series engine from the Meteor 350 🏍️
Schmick new digi-analogue instrument cluster with USB charging 🔌
Dual channel ABS for a grouse braking package 🛑
Pugs reckons the 350cc Bullet is a pearler, with just enough power for heaps of fun! The retro design and hand-painted pinstripes are a classy touch. While it might not give you white-knuckle thrills, this little Enfield is a bonza ride that's easy on the hip pocket. No wonder it's still going strong after 90 years!

I absolutely love a single cylinder! Nothing compares to that dug dug thump it produces. Plenty of character that makes you smile. The 350 is a joy to ride. I’ve done some long distance touring on the Classic 350. While it’s not built for the freeways, it is comfortably at home on the back country roads. 20 horses is enough for my daily commute and enjoying the scenery on the weekends. It’s a therapeutic relaxing road. I know they plan to bring out a 650 twin version but I wish they released a 500cc single as well.

Great little bike. I love mine... has put fun back into commuting. And wherever I stop, there's always ( yes, really always) someone who comes over to admire it.
Best part: no chance of losing your license on this bike. Saves up points for the other bike...

    Great review! Thank you.
Just a minor correction. The one you have tested is the Standard Black version. I have just booked mine. Eagerly waiting! 😊

I still like a manual kick start as a back up

Was contemplating getting Classic 500 EFI for the same reason but I've decided on fresh Bullet 350 Maroon, looks better than black in my opinion. I will buy Big Mule (Classic 500 EFI) later when I get a chance to get one in a good shape.

Tested one last year. It’s a nice little bike, but somehow I just didn’t get the feeling. For me it’s lacking cc - not power, but cc. And it all feels a bit..dunno..numb? Like it’s lost some of it‘s roughness and quirkiness. Almost overengineered..
I daily a Guzzi V7 and I love that thing, the vibration, the sound, the clunkiness of the gearbox.
I would love to love the 350, but somehow I don’t…
I hope that one day they’ll make a good old 500 thumper..

even if it had a kick start, it will be useless after battery dead.... that's the modern exhaust Norm (bs6).

    Just missing a cylinder & 100hp

I've owned bikes with the extra cylinder & extra 80 HP
And although they were very fast they were sterile compared to the Classic 350.
With so much charm and personality , you cant help but smile. You can keep your
100 HP bikes that legally you could only use 20% of the power.

@@derekcostello1016 It's that "charm and personality" thing that we've all forgotten about. Harley guys talk endlessly about the "character" of their bikes and how riding isn't all about going fast all the time. All of a sudden Royal Enfield have brought a bike to market that has that sort of appeal, but in a more cost effective package and something that is
going to appeal to wider audience of riders. And they've given riders something that they can thrash, a bit. At the end of the day, if you're riding a 100+hp bike, you're a nurse 99% of the time, and a rider 1% of the time. On something like this, you can "ride" it every time you go to the grocery store without risking life, limb or licence. I get it.
