It's why I stopped playing ps games online. All these great games and Sony pulls the plug way too soon. Resistance 2 still had a decent player base and the game was abandoned. Just like killzone 2 and the Motorstorm games.
he's palying baddies but the video shows how simplified and tight the gameplay was. love the sluggish confines of the movement. having grenades generating massive spin from subtle tweaks to your inputs. gunplay having actual ranges to play at making all classes useful. And the graphics & sound design is orgasmic. One of the best original shooters
@@StormKillzone you know now that I reflect on it, a large portion of the playerbase never fully grasped the mechanics of this game. I think it was partially devs fault for having no resources on how the physics worked or hard numbers to rely on.
@@FriedBacon88 A lot of people didn't know you could just change the controls to the alternate settings (like battlefield) so they just ended up playing with the regular controls, which actually takes much longer to get used to.

If only they could put this on Steam.... upgrading the visuals to native 1440p and 144fps and online. The thing I liked about the sniping in Killzone is that if you moved the controller the rifle scope actually moves.

Sadly, there isn't. Shadow fall is pretty dead. And pretty much nothing official has been said about killzone 5. Hell I think the company even moved to other projects. I hope they'll remaster 3 someday but who knows

By the way, I've always wondered what the best sensitivity settings are to play FPS on consoles in general, myself i have the X axis on 10% and Y on 20% but obviously the horizontal movement is very slow but helps with accuracy. I would imagine your X% is much higher? I see some dutch in your videos, you from NL or BE? I'm Belgian btw :)
I prefer a higher sensitivity for FPS games, takes a little longer to get used to but i think it's the best :). I play 100/100 on killzone btw. en ja ik ben Nederlands ^^
I remember playing the campaign over and over again. I probably finished it 30 times. I wanted a sequel so bad, then came shadow fall, an absolute stupid game. The story made no sense. The multiplayer wasn’t as good as this. And now guerilla is making Horizon Zero dawn games. Don’t get me wrong they are good, and I’m hyped for Horizon forbidden west. But they could at least remaster killzone 1, 2 and 3. Like how Volition remastered Saints row the 3rd.

In botzone you can basically set up a multiplayer game but against bots, I still play it sometimes when I'm bored.
