Their body spray packaging is a challenge to use as a body spray but works nicely as like a bedding or furniture spray, which is mainly what I do. I did get the box and I think more of the scents worked for me but I do think last year's was a little better than this year. It is expensive but then I'm mostly set on bath and shower products for like 6 months. For favorite product, I think anything in the intergalactic line. The shower gel is just magic to me. It's a refreshing spa scent but at the same time has a nostalgic pool vibe and I just feel happy when I use it. Lord of Misrule is pretty great too.
Have you tried Posh Chocolate yet? You might also like the Cherry Pop shower gel in the Valentine’s Day release and the Minions collab shower cream (smells like banana Laffy Taffy if you’re into that).
My absolute favorite discovery is their stick perfumes that really last and are heads and tails less pricey then the perfume sprays! I am in LOVE with Bees Knees. The way it was described is NOT what I discovered and it was a pleasant discovery! I expected pure raw honey. I thought I would use it for layering to sweeten other things. Howeverrrrr it has this gorgeous smoke note that reminds me SO much of one fragrance they got rid of ( and I still mourn, I have a little left) called "All Good Things". In fact I almost think it is All Good Things tweaked just a bit! It is divine!Yet you have to like a bit of smoke in your fragrances to like it. Its a sultry smoke, not like a cigarette!
To me the super milk fragrance is like they took the hair product and said “what would this smell like as a perfume” and decided to give it “perfume-y” notes to it instead of just keeping super milk like super milk
the original scent probably doesn't last as well as a perfume, think about how much you apply as a hair milk versus as perfume, plus it's dissolved in alcohol.
Most if not all of the calendar "exclusive" items are available for purchase separately 50% off. I picked up a yog nog set with the lotion, bath bomb, shower gel, and body spray.
TY for mentioning how lush does not care how they pack online orders. I ordered a TON of stuff during their freshness sale, and when it came in the mail, I was so annoyed by how messy it got everything. The box was falling open so peanuts were everywhere. As I was carrying the box into my house, powder was leaking out of the edges of the box everywhere. Then when I opened the box, I was so annoyed that I had to dig around almost shoulder deep in powdery dusty peanuts for all my items. Some of them broken of course because how could they not be? I understand the commitment to less packaging. I also understand that other brands will use the brown paper netting to keep items safe, secure, and in tact. It definitely rubbed me the wrong way after spending over 100$. Not an experience I want to have or a mess I want to clean up, so I won’t be ordering online again. I do have some faves but I’ll stick to in-store only. Especially for that huge mess that costed me $8 to ship.

GET YUMMY CUSTARD FROM LUSH IN THE SPRING! It’s let the good times roll scented and it has a similar texture to Posh Chocolate but it’s oat milk. Even if I have a perfume combo on I feel like I smell it.
A way you can use the shower jelly is to get a soap saver. You put a piece of the shower jelly, lather it, and use as you normally would with a bar of soup. With the use of a soap saver, you're able to hold onto the jelly better and use it up entirely.
happy new year, lauren! this was such a fun watch. my favorite lush product right now is the silky underwear dusting powder! it's a jasmine scent with a bit of cocoa butter in it, and i use it on any part of my body where there is friction or where i'm prone to sweating (between thighs, chest, any place where my skin folds). it's been such a game changer for my comfort. i put it on my sheets for a soothing scent, too.
I am sooo disappointed with the super milk perfume, it's nothing like the conditioner! I was so upset cos I absolutely love the conditioner. I still use it but you're 100% right x
If you love lemon scents you need to try Hufflepuff by House of Sillage. It is beautiful lemon, coconut cream. Just get it when it goes on sale, cause she is expensive.
Lush gifts are rarely worth the price! Unless it has something exclusive that you know you’ll like, you’re better off just getting what you want off the shelf
That is so weird that they made the Advent Calendars less worthwhile - I’ve often gotten their boxes (like the sticky dates one) and they are either a way better deal than buying individually or at least a 10% better deal. I also, most of the time, end up with a discount code for shopping in store. Since they don’t do any deals except the Boxing Day deal, which is obviously limited, the 10% discount is still awesome. Ulta also carries some Lush stuff online, but it’s pretty limited in its selection.
I have Chelsea Morning, Super Milk and Turmeric Latte... which is amazing for Winter! It smells like a smokey vanilla (similar to Tobacco Vanilla from Tom Ford). The sillage is moderate and it lasts almost all day on my skin.

hey lauren! i will let you know that you can get a lot more transparency regarding what’s actually inside the fragrances if you check the ingredients. unlike the vast majority of brands, they just list the entire composition of ingredients in the ingredients list.
I have supermilk hair stuff and the perfume. I enjoyed the perfume - it’s got more of a “spicy” note than the hair spray but I still enjoyed it but more so when I layer with devotion to brighten it up. I don’t get florals in my bottle. The Chelsea one sounds good though! I’ll try that next time I’m in store. ❤
My son is 2 and sleepy is all we use for his bath. The shower gel for bath time, and the sleepy body lotion after baths. His skin is soo soft. It helps him sleep as well!

Super milk perfume (from the most recent launch) smelled like dusty plastic lemons. It’s a good thing I wasn’t a fan of smelling like a lemon scented baby doll, because the fragrance lasted .02 seconds on my skin. Give me Chelsea Morning every day!
I went into a relatively large store the other day and smelt everything. I sprayed 3 on my body in different areas. All made me feel ill. I expected to like so many and barely like one. I love the butter ball bath bombs but… I couldnt smell the perfume as they didn’t have it. I think the problem is, everything has a really strong essential oil smell rather than perfume smell.
Lush is hit or miss for me. They have a few nice things but nothing there is worth the price for me. Buff City Soap is similar but also has kinda high prices. Their stuff is nice, too, but again not a store I can shop at often.
I went to lush at 7am on Black Friday JUST for the super milk fragrance. I was so sad when I smelt it and hated it haha. It smells like super milk, yes, but it just didn’t translate to perfume for me!!! The hair mist is everything, but there was no way I would want to smell like this perfume they came out with! i was so disappointed 😢
so interesting that you don't like the supermilk perfume - I have it too and mine smells like creamy lemon and spiced cookies! I'm really sensitive to floral notes, so I'm surprised you get them so much, maybe your batch is off?

I feel the quality of Lush bath bombs has gone down ALOT. Most of my bath bombs have no fizz (sink to bottom), and only like 50% of the scent pre-covid. Yet the prices have gone up quite a bit. Quality now is average.
I honestly like most lush bath bomb to me they all smell kinda similar with some nuances. I hate snow fairies so bad I don’t understand the hype. At some point I had a bath bomb of snow fairie and I had to drain my bath and take a shower to wash the smell off 😆to me it’s smell like cream soda pop. Sickly sweet with a fruity undertone I hate. My favorite perfume/ body spray from lush are cardamom coffee, golden pear (smell like bubble gum ) lets the good time roll, yog nog, tumeric latte, vegan leather jacket, honey I washed the kid, sticky dates, space girl is so good layered with eillish no3. I HATE the windex bottle but lush body spray are worth it to me because they are super long lasting and strong
I’m an occasional lush dabbler. They discontinued most of the lines for both of my favorite scents: Plum Rain and Guardian of the forest. You can sometimes get a huge shower gel version of plum rain and guardian is still in a body spray. But still disappointing. The Guardian bathbomb was so great.

Anyone else just in the comments to see if anyone answered the question about the shower jelly? Is it essentially just bar soap that doesn't set all the way?
It's body wash in jelly form, for certain holidays often in cute form such as a fairy for snow fairy, a polar bear for polar bear dreaming or most recently, a frog for valentines day. A lot of people cut them up or put them in the freezer to make them firmer.
A good way ro use them is to use a soap saver with a shower jelly. Take a piece of the jelly, tighten the string, and just lather on the body as you would a bar of soap. The soap saver holds it better and you are able to more effectively use the jelly up entirely.
protip their gift sets are a rip off (advent calenders included). their reasoning is that they charge for the packaging which is a f'ing joke, as if some wrapping paper, a cardboard box (and sometimes a bit of ribbon) costs £3+??? the huge gift sets i guess are worth it for the convenience of not having to pick out every product individually but if you're only buying it for yourself and not actually gifting it to someone, just buy the products individually! i think for those huge gift sets they charge like and extra £10-15 0__0
My issue is that they never have their new perfume releases in store as testers. Also...why are they always sold out? They're missing an opportunity to make a lot of money being sold out of things for 6 months at a time. Yuzu and cocoa smelled like potpourri to me but I had the original perfume and decluttered it
I think " stinky floral" should be considered a listed scent note. It would save us all a lot of nose trauma.

the snow fairy lip mask has been a life saver for me in dry months
I got my first fragrance from lush last year. And I’m obsessed with it. It Lord of Misrule. I wish they made a lotion with it.

A really nice, non greasy body lotion from Lush is the Dream Cream. It has a lavender/spa scent.
I’m really picky with lavender, I usually don’t like it, but I do like twilight!

My favorite perfume/ body spray from lush are cardamom coffee, golden pear (smell like bubble gum ) lets the good time roll, yog nog, tumeric latte, vegan leather jacket, honey I washed the kid, sticky dates, space girl is so good layered with eillish no3. I HATE the windex bottle but lush body spray are worth it to me because they are super long lasting and strong
I’m an occasional lush dabbler. They discontinued most of the lines for both of my favorite scents: Plum Rain and Guardian of the forest. You can sometimes get a huge shower gel version of plum rain and guardian is still in a body spray. But still disappointing. The Guardian bathbomb was so great.

Hi Lauren, the Lush Calendar was £190 about $234 so I’m wondering where you got $300? Was it the shipping to you in the US. Loving your videos by the way, I got Sticky Dates gift set and love the fragrance. Bought it online without smelling it, but so pleased with it.
Anyone else just in the comments to see if anyone answered the question about the shower jelly? Is it essentially just bar soap that doesn't set all the way?
It's body wash in jelly form, for certain holidays often in cute form such as a fairy for snow fairy, a polar bear for polar bear dreaming or most recently, a frog for valentines day. A lot of people cut them up or put them in the freezer to make them firmer.
A good way ro use them is to use a soap saver with a shower jelly. Take a piece of the jelly, tighten the string, and just lather on the body as you would a bar of soap. The soap saver holds it better and you are able to more effectively use the jelly up entirely.

protip their gift sets are a rip off (advent calenders included). their reasoning is that they charge for the packaging which is a f'ing joke, as if some wrapping paper, a cardboard box (and sometimes a bit of ribbon) costs £3+???
the huge gift sets i guess are worth it for the convenience of not having to pick out every product individually but if you're only buying it for yourself and not actually gifting it to someone, just buy the products individually! i think for those huge gift sets they charge like and extra £10-15 0__0

My issue is that they never have their new perfume releases in store as testers. Also...why are they always sold out? They're missing an opportunity to make a lot of money being sold out of things for 6 months at a time. Yuzu and cocoa smelled like potpourri to me but I had the original perfume and decluttered it
