- Here it is guys, many of you have been asking me to make a tutorial on how I shoot, so I have been as thorough as I can to demonstrate it.

Can’t believe you have been in UA-cam for 10 years! Thank you so much for sharing all the training videos and let us see what an unaged man looks like.
Even with the wind noise, this is the best video tutorial I've seen on UA-cam as it explains every second of the body movements and highlights all the key points with those RED arrow marks! All other videos are either lack of those RED marks or not as specific to these many minor details that really makes the difference. Subscribed and I can't wait to get out and try the techniques!

Haha yeah man, I used to upload when I was younger. I took a break for a while. but really enjoying getting back into it now. It's funny to see how different I used to look.
Not only that but the contrast in quality compared to now is light and day.

good point on the stretching, wise words all together... back in november i neglected to stretch, things got out of control at trials and my back had me disabled for two and a half months, it even still reoccurs today. ALWAYS STRETCH..

The power is actually due to the whip effect where the kicking leg swings like a pendulum with the hip acting as the pivot. The pendulum swing naturally restricts the follow through making it seem short. This is after ball contact, not before ... the back swing of most pros including Messi and Ronaldo is extreme (heel almost touching butt).

Might not be related but I've been practicing knuckle balls but I don't seem to get the movement of an knuckleball, I lock my ankle and do all of those basic form of shooting and I do practice but I feel like I'm doing something wrong? Maybe I don't get enough momentum or something?

I have a lot of power when I shoot barely with foot but when I shoot with boots the power decreases I don't know why maybe because of the uncomfort boot.. I think.. so do you have any shoe prefence with less skin??

I'm not sure whether this is true or not, but I think a study was done that showed the shorter swings of the leg before you strike the ball produces more power, which is why short players like Messi can hit the ball so hard and why you see Cristiano Ronaldo have a short swing.

@TheSoccerspartan300 There is no such thing as being born with talent. He is this good because he practiced a lot more than all of us. Same with david beckham. He wasn't able to bend the ball like he does now the first time he kicked a ball. He used to spend hours everyday in the park just taking freekicks into the same spot. Everyone here can kick as well as 7mlc if they wanted to it just takes practice. I bet he will agree that it took him practice to get this good. nothing more. nothing less.

Always locked, for any shooting technique. I don't think there is ever a good time to have a floppy ankle to be honest mate :)

Do your toes point out when trying to strike a power shot (laces). I'm always concerned about kicking the ground and breaking my freakin' foot when I extend my toes!
